I have use file s1_odin_4G_Sedy.pit to flash rom, but get same problem, Odin still stuck at "cache.rfs". Fail ! I have tried flash rom via Heimdall and same result.
Maybe my phone hardware has problem ?

Try the kc1 or kd1 without the .pit file
Sent from my Galaxy Tab running CM7
Well flahshing roms via CWM is likely not going to fix your problem, sounds like you may have changed your partition tables and will need to find a pit. I thought I read someone in the 4g forum made a working one.
Galaxy S4G Pit
Good Luck.
which kd1 rom are u trying to install. theres a kd1 rom the it was compress wrong by the programer.
Are you using Odin or heimdall what options are you selecting?
Are you able to get into download mode? (Do you see the guy with the shovel)
Make sure you have the proper usb drivers installed as well and that you are using
the factory usb cable, I have had issues with other cables.
I had the same problem, I just kept trying til it worked

are you using P6200 or P6200L or maybe some other series? and what ICS are you flashing? Austria Open (XXLQ1)?
what odin version you used? odin3 v.1.85?
is it any possibility the HC or ICS stock ROM is broken?
what CWM version do you use?
can you post the log on odin after flashing back to HC?

[Q] N8020 semi brick,stuck startup logo,No Recovery Mode!

Hello All,
My N8020 is now semi brick after trying to flash it back to stock. It was on custom rom before but showing different errors so i decided to change the rom...First i tried to install another custom rom which was cynogenmod 10 but after intstalling this rom from cwm phone stuck at cynogenmod startup logo i waited for long time but still nothing. Then tried different versions of cynogen roms but same...After all this i decided to install a official rom so i flashed this with
N8020XXBMA3_N8020XSABMA2_N8020XXBMA1_HOME.tar
but now the real problem started..Now i can boot phone in download mode but not in recovery mode at all...Then i tried to flash a cwm via odin and get "PASS" messege in odin but still no recovery mode...Tried to flash to flash clockwork recovery several time but nothing changed and then i check in download mode the custom flash counter increase every time i try to flash cwm...then i searched the stock recovery for 8020 but when i try to flash it via odin i always get "FAIL"...
Now i m out of ideas and searching for a real solution....SO can anybody please tell me what to do next to get it back to life???
Regards,
Muneeb

Thanks for reply but can u please tell me from where i get n8020 twrp?i only able to find N8000 to N8013 but cant find for N8020....
You are correct, I can't find for n8020 either.

Try to flash cwm again. Don't check auto reboot in odin. When finished flashing cwm, press power+volume up, when samsung or whatever appears on screen release power but keep presing volume up until cwm loads.
Let me know if you have any luck.

I would start all over from scratch to ensure the files you used were for your device.
THIS IS THE AUTO ROOT PACKAGE FOR AN N8020. UNZIP THE FILE & FLASH VIA ODIN
THIS IS CWM RECOVERY FOR N8020. FLASH VIA ODIN
THIS IS TWRP RECOVERY FOR N8000 WHICH IS WHAT YOU WOULD USE. FLASH VIA ODIN
Its possible at this point you might need to run a pit file. Nand erase as well. Read into them before EVER attempting.

Hello,
I have tried these two already "CF-Auto_root" and "N8020-CWM-6.0.2.8-Darkman.tar.md5" but still same..But now my question is will N8000 twrp recovery work on N8020?
Pit yes it can be the solution but its bit risky isn't it?

Yes N8000 is the twrp recovery for N8020. Yes pit is risky but if you read into how to do it and follow it you will be just fine. Sometimes a device may require running NAND Erase also (meaning checking the box in odin). The biggest problem with pit file is people not knowing and just running it as if they were getting a custom ROM.

Thanks for ur time!
I didn't find a working pit for my n 8010. Don't worry too much about the binary counter, mine was 118 today, I reset it with triangle away. I don't have the balls to do a nand erase on mine, I'm not even sure that is required for my problem, at least mine is working.

Yes, dont check auto boot though leave that unchecked and if it passes reboot to recovery and do a data wipe then reboot. If you run into error add your pit file to the pit window along with your stock tar.md5 file and run it just as I mentioned before with repartition selected
Make sure the pit file you use is for your device model/storage size

I9500 11GB reverting to 8GB

I got a weird issue, I re-partitioned my S4 to 11GB and everything worked fine.
But when I revert back to 8GB the mobile doesn't get recognized by any computer.
I tried stock and custom, Kitkat, Lollipop, and Marshmallow but no luck.
Tried connecting it while in recovery mode, GearCM or TWRP v3, still no luck.
The only way to fix this is by re-partitioning it to 11GB again.
Any solution? Anyone faced that before?

If u odin a stock rom over 11GB partition the bluetooth doesnt work
u must do the steps that u did to go to 11GB exactly but pit file that must be 8GB one
so do this steps before odin a stock
1st backup efs and so on
2nd odin these files
1. a bootloader file that has param.bin as BL in odin
2. TWRP recovery as AP
3. a modem as CP
4. JA3G_EUR_OPEN.pit as 8GB pit
after odin it go to twrp advanced format all partition (except external) step by step not all together (u will see a lot of error after formating do this step again until there was no error )
then odin a stock rom

update:
i tried what you suggested, reflashing stock rom now. encountered same problem even in twrp, the phone reboots itself.
god help me i am trying to fix this for 2 days now.
=======
Here is the problem that i am encountering right now.
i am not sure what i am doing wrong, and this time whenever i flash something from recovery the phone reboots.
here are the things i did, using philz touch, i chose the install new rom (i do this everytime when flashing a new rom) then flash RR, was able to finish it but stuck in boot loop. so followed the same steps and flashed 2 other roms, infernus and halcycon (used these roms before) however before finishing the installation the phone reboots.
next step i flashed twrp via odin (success) and flashed the latest version via twrp recovery. guess what same problem, with RR it is stuck in boot loop while with other roms, it does not complete the installation. this thing never happened to me.
next step i used this adb thing and i believe it is successful, however same problem persists.
the only thing i can think of is to flash the original i9500 firmware which i am downloading right now and will flash it via odin.

Do you have the original firmware? If so put it in AP and the 8GB pit file and tick the Nand Earse All, wait for the ROM to be booted, reboot into stock recovery and do a full wipe (factory reset and cache) then reboot.
Then flash TWRP and try to install the RR one and give me your feedback.
