I was wondering if it is possible to stream smart TV audio to smartphone and then I could listen it on headphones.
Thanks.
I'm also very interested on this.
Check out a device called Blipcast .

For the TF700, can someone please recommend a media player that allows output of multichannel audio (i.e. 5.1) over the HDMI connection? I would like to play movies through a Samsung Home Theater System and MX Player is only outputting Stereo (I think) no matter what the audio format is. A separate codec would work as an option too. Any help or fix would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi everybody,
I've got a couple of airplay speakers in my apartment which I mainly use to play music from my synology nas. I also have allstream installed on my android devices. It streams the device's entire audio via airplay (root required). Unfortunately this only really works for music. Because when playing videos the sound is delayed. I tried to work around this issue using diceplayer which lets you adjust the sound delay. But once synchronized it does not stay synchronous as the delay on the airplay sound does not seem to be fixed (despite being configured to have a certain value in milliseconds in the allstream settings).
When I tested playing videos outputting the audio via airplay on an ios device I was surprised how flawlessly it worked (tested it with the youtube app). I am aware that airplay is developed by apple and is originally intended for apple devices. Anyhow it would be really nice to have an android video player which can output the videos' sound via airplay. Does anybody know if such a player exists or have any other idea for a workaround?
I hope I posted in the right forum. Wasn't too sure..
Thanks for listening
Hi all,
After spending hours looking for answers on google, I am posting this question here. First I wilI explain a bit about my audio video setup.
I have Samsung Note 8 with Mx player 1.13.2 version on it. I have downloaded an mkv file from internet and played it on my Sony W805 Full HD TV through Samsung Smartview. The audio format of mkv file is AC3.
My TV is connected to the AV receiver (Herman Kardon 1610S) through ARC as well as optical cable for sound. I have my JBL home cinema 610 hooked with the receiver for surround sound. Now my question is
"Am I getting the lossless 5.1 surround sound while playing the mkv file on Note 8 and watching on my TV through Smartview?"
Hi everyone i have a problem with mx firestick 4k i can't adjust the audio pass. Amazon stick is inserted directly into the 2019 ts nr 696 model amplifier which supports all audio formats. Ms player on another android on egreat a 10 works great also goes hdmi cable through the amplifier and there application automatically when the sound is dolby digital or atmos or dts-x or truehd automatically switch to the amplifier sound.
But on firestick 4k I can't get this only dolby digital 2.0
Could this be fixed with an update would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
We would like to let you know that MX Player only enables audio passthrough mode only when the system reports the audio capability of the connected received. Based on the information you have provided, it seems that the FireTV stick doesn't report the HDMI audio capabilities properly. However, we will investigate this further and do our best to get a workaround if possible. Meanwhile, your patience is appreciated.
Its possible to use Google Chromecast TV like the old Chromecast audio?
In which way? You can stream audio to Chromecast, but the TV has to be on.
