xperia c headphone problem, please give your suggestion - Sony Xperia C

I have been using my xperia c for over a year, I bought a skull candy s2dufz-385 and they were awesome for a week. Then the left speaker died, when I checked the reviews everyone had the same problem so I purchased a better headphone, sennheiser cx 180 they were awesome for a month, but after that one speaker (right) died, (I.e.) volume decreased
This might be a wired question to ask, since always one speaker of headphone dies, is itpossible that the problem might ne with my xperia??? Or am unfortunate enough that I always get khatara product??????
Am losing so many headphones please help
*update : or is it because I use my headphones while charging????

I have used Sony headphones and nothing like this happened, currently I am using Beats Studio Wireless (with and without wire) but nothing like this has happened. I guess you are not handling your headphones properly.

[Q] Bluetooth headset (for phone and music)

Seen a few posts about bluetooth headsets I would like advise on.
I attend and hold conference calls for work so need to use the mic mute function a lot. Any headset purchased needs to a single click button for mic mute. And its at this point I would like your advise.
Have seen others talking about the following but dont know if they have mic mute.
Sony Ericsson MW600
Motorola S605
What bluetooth headsets could you advise for calls and general walkman style music.

I own the mw600 and can confirm it does have a single button mic mute.
While in a call, simply hold down the "play" button for about 1 sec and it mutes the mic.
As for music ... i prefer less obtrusive setup ... the mw600 is perfect for me ... clip on the unit on my color and just put in the headphones in my ear from around my neck.
Sound quality is amazing ... battery life awesome ... no complaints.

I also own the mw600 from Sony Ericsson. I honestly can't find a competitor that I could claim as good.
I have the Jabra BT3030 and the Jabra BT620s
They both are excellent. The BT620's are over the ear type and I use them with my PC in the house . The BT3030 are unique in that you can plug in any headset to the module . I use it in the car with GPS and music player playing at same time off my Galaxy S (love this phone).
Google both and read reviews. Great products. Have had mine over 3 years.
Vote mw600 as well for this phone.

SonyEricson MW600, had it from my previous phone, loved it and to my surprise when i paired it with my SGS found that it's music controls work perfectly with the default samsung music player. Couple of days ago when i installed winamp and tried the bt controls it brought up winamp player instead of the stock one (just mentioning if someone likes winamp better).
Add to this the caller id feature, great battery life combined with a superb led display and you have the perfect headset. Well almost, i realy miss my nokia headset's vibration feature, but you can't have everything
sorry for the very long delay (holiday)
So from the replies it looks like a one horse race with Sony Ericsson MW600 being the only contender.
thank you for your advise all that replied ive bid on the bay for one.
bought the mw600 two weeks ago and have big problems reconnecting it with my sgs while signal is lost (out of range). Other devices reconnect just fine but not the mw600, every time I have to reconnect manually.
I am using the Jabra Clipper. Does the job. To bad it does not have a display but I also have the mbw 150 with openwatch. I am pretty happy with this setup.

I use Samsung's HM3500.
Does great job for 18£ device, including mini-usb stereo headphones.
Mutes microphone by holding volume up/down.
I use the Plantronics Voyager 855 Stereo Bluetooth Headset.
I bought it some years ago. maybe the have a new version. I like it because you can connect it with two devices at the same time and it is some kind of a transformer. if you don't need the stereo capabilities at a time, you can remove the second headphone.
great thing... i love it...
My se mw600 wasnt so good on my sgs. I keep getting hissing sound or kinda of static sound when plating music. But when paired with my other phones i donr have such problem.

Check out the LG-HBS-700-Bluetooth. I'm too noob to post a link... sorry.
You can try these. They are extremely comfortable... High geek factor which could be either good or bad... They sound great... About $70

i got these SE HBH-IS800 and i don't regret the money i spent on them.
stereo BT, very light, and excellent audio quality in music and calls.
i'm a fan of stereo bluetooth headsets and i tried a few:
Motorola HT820s
Motorola S9
SE HBH-DS970
Plantronics Voyager 855
but SE I800 are the best of what i tried so far.
I have been using Nokia BH-905 for some time.
Gives excellent sound quality! A bit costly though, but comes with active noise cancellation.
This is another one, Motorola ROKR S9–HD

May i ask how the battery life of the SE HBH-IS800? and how is the sound quality?
I own a MW600 and i also experience the hissing sounds.. Has anyone found a solution for it yet?
I find the se mw600 with too much treble and hiss when listening to music when used with my htc mozart 7, got rid of it, but i still use a stereo bt head set made by sony, which is listed in my sig, used it for about 5years now and the battery is still going.

[Q] Earphones Imbalance Issue-

Hello,
I just bought these awesome yet crappy earphones that... has volume imbalance issues.
I tried to get them replaced, but the seller seems to be ignoring my emails after purchase.
I have plugged these earphones in to my laptop and adjusted the volume balance and it seems to have fixed it when using it with the laptop.
Also, I have physically discovered that the earphone wire that has the lower volume is longer than the other, which obviously mean that there are more resistance there.
So my question now is...
Is there an APP or TWEAK or SETTING on my Xperia X10 that will actually let me balance these earphones out?

[Q] X-mini II speaker with Desire HD

I just bought this xmi x-mini II speaker
the sound is incredibly loud and very good bass for its size
when connected to my laptop, ipod or iphone...
while connecting it with my desire hd its volume has just enough loudness,
on max volume on phone and max on xmini speaker...
i wonder if how many power output from the 3.5mm earphone jack the desire hd have,
does it cause this or is it just a software issue since the speaker has built-in battery that could last up to 12 hours on normal playback so i guess power output is not an issue.
anyone got this speaker?
I've got one of these; awesome little thing and excellent battery life too.
I've not tried it in any other phone so I can't judge how much louder or quieter than other devices the headphone output on the DHD is. Still, 'loud enough' for me...

I may have the solution, I also have a X-Mini and it's possibly the best gadget I've ever bought, the problem is not the X-Mini but it's in fact your Desire HD or should I say the software. I found the fix for this by accident and posted it in the general forum and it worked for just about everyone. Do this, plug in your X-Mini play your music and put everything as loud as possible on the phone and on the X-Mini, while it's playing open up the phone and make a phone call, the call needs to go all the way through, end the call and presto magic !! Listen to the sound difference... be prepared to put the volume down. If this does not work try downloading volume ace from the market and turn everything up with that.
I found this fix one day by accident when I had my phone plugged into the audio jack of my car.

[Completed] older phone - headset with mic - mic not working

Hello, my friend has an older phone with Android Gingerbread and she bought nice shiny new Sennheiser big headset with combined jack for both input and output. When she plugs it in and calls me she can hear me but I cannot hear her, because microphone does not work. The jack is totally the same as on other earbuds headphones with integrated mic which we have and which work with this phone just fine. The new shiny ones work with my newer (Xperia Z3 compact) phone with mic too. I don't understand what can be a difference. There is no settings in this LG Android regarding headphones or microphone. The icon in the top bar is always headphones regardless of if I plug the earbuds or the Sennheiser where mic does not work.
Any idea how to fix this or what can be causing this?
so this looks like a mystery I guess :-]
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
What is the device of your friend?

Booster volume Usonic

Hi,
can i increase volume Headphone HTC U12 + with Usonic
There are no volume controls on the usonic earphones. You'll need to adjust the volume on the phone.
I just got the U12 less than a week ago and I'm a little disappointed to be honest.
There are hardly any bass using the usonic earphones and it's very treble-heavy and can get very tinny and piercing at high volume. Not sure if my earphones are detective because everyone seems to praise the usonic.
Yes, I've tuned them to my ears.

Thanks! I'll give the usb c adapter a go. Was kind of hesitant to spend more money on the U12. Shame they didn't include it in the box. I think this will be my last HTC phone.
Yeah, I wasn't impressed at all either. If I'm not using Bluetooth, I prefer the USB-C Razer adapter with the HTC Pro Studio headphones. So much better!
