[Q] Bluetooth headset (for phone and music) - Galaxy S I9000 Accessories

Seen a few posts about bluetooth headsets I would like advise on.
I attend and hold conference calls for work so need to use the mic mute function a lot. Any headset purchased needs to a single click button for mic mute. And its at this point I would like your advise.
Have seen others talking about the following but dont know if they have mic mute.
Sony Ericsson MW600
Motorola S605
What bluetooth headsets could you advise for calls and general walkman style music.

I own the mw600 and can confirm it does have a single button mic mute.
While in a call, simply hold down the "play" button for about 1 sec and it mutes the mic.
As for music ... i prefer less obtrusive setup ... the mw600 is perfect for me ... clip on the unit on my color and just put in the headphones in my ear from around my neck.
Sound quality is amazing ... battery life awesome ... no complaints.

I also own the mw600 from Sony Ericsson. I honestly can't find a competitor that I could claim as good.

I have the Jabra BT3030 and the Jabra BT620s
They both are excellent. The BT620's are over the ear type and I use them with my PC in the house . The BT3030 are unique in that you can plug in any headset to the module . I use it in the car with GPS and music player playing at same time off my Galaxy S (love this phone).
Google both and read reviews. Great products. Have had mine over 3 years.

Vote mw600 as well for this phone.

SonyEricson MW600, had it from my previous phone, loved it and to my surprise when i paired it with my SGS found that it's music controls work perfectly with the default samsung music player. Couple of days ago when i installed winamp and tried the bt controls it brought up winamp player instead of the stock one (just mentioning if someone likes winamp better).
Add to this the caller id feature, great battery life combined with a superb led display and you have the perfect headset. Well almost, i realy miss my nokia headset's vibration feature, but you can't have everything

sorry for the very long delay (holiday)
So from the replies it looks like a one horse race with Sony Ericsson MW600 being the only contender.
thank you for your advise all that replied ive bid on the bay for one.

bought the mw600 two weeks ago and have big problems reconnecting it with my sgs while signal is lost (out of range). Other devices reconnect just fine but not the mw600, every time I have to reconnect manually.

I am using the Jabra Clipper. Does the job. To bad it does not have a display but I also have the mbw 150 with openwatch. I am pretty happy with this setup.

I use Samsung's HM3500.
Does great job for 18£ device, including mini-usb stereo headphones.
Mutes microphone by holding volume up/down.

I use the Plantronics Voyager 855 Stereo Bluetooth Headset.
I bought it some years ago. maybe the have a new version. I like it because you can connect it with two devices at the same time and it is some kind of a transformer. if you don't need the stereo capabilities at a time, you can remove the second headphone.
great thing... i love it...

My se mw600 wasnt so good on my sgs. I keep getting hissing sound or kinda of static sound when plating music. But when paired with my other phones i donr have such problem.

Check out the LG-HBS-700-Bluetooth. I'm too noob to post a link... sorry.
You can try these. They are extremely comfortable... High geek factor which could be either good or bad... They sound great... About $70

i got these SE HBH-IS800 and i don't regret the money i spent on them.
stereo BT, very light, and excellent audio quality in music and calls.
i'm a fan of stereo bluetooth headsets and i tried a few:
Motorola HT820s
Motorola S9
SE HBH-DS970
Plantronics Voyager 855
but SE I800 are the best of what i tried so far.

I have been using Nokia BH-905 for some time.
Gives excellent sound quality! A bit costly though, but comes with active noise cancellation.

This is another one, Motorola ROKR S9–HD

May i ask how the battery life of the SE HBH-IS800? and how is the sound quality?
I own a MW600 and i also experience the hissing sounds.. Has anyone found a solution for it yet?

I find the se mw600 with too much treble and hiss when listening to music when used with my htc mozart 7, got rid of it, but i still use a stereo bt head set made by sony, which is listed in my sig, used it for about 5years now and the battery is still going.

Frustrated with (lack) of new A2DP BT headsets

I have owned ~5 bluetooth headsets over the past 3 - 4 years and currently have been using the Plantronics Voyager 855 for over a year. Reason for this headset is I like to listen to streaming audio (XM & Sirius) on my phone in stereo and mono...this headset was the only one to offer decent quality sound in a compact package (no dongles hanging from my neck etc..) Problem is my headset is showing its age with shortened batt. life and the range is not what it used to be (also sound as a headset was never that great in noisy environments). My frustration is after almost 1.5 yrs I cant find any new headsets that support a2dp and come in a small package (cant be behind the head both sides like the S9). Jawbone headset has had out 3 different new models during the whole time i have had the 855 and still has not come out with one that supports a2dp...same with all other major manufacturers that I looked at. It just seems like now there is no push by manufactures to produce a mono or optional stereo headset in a small size (I love the blueant Q1 but again..no a2dp).
Anyone know of new headsets coming out that fit my description? Also looked at the use of the btaudio.cab file to "make" any BT headset stream audio ...anyone have experience using this? biggest concern in using this cab would be greatly reducing batt life on my BT.
Thanks
I had great success with nokias a2dp bt steroe headsets
Looking on Nokia web site I cant seem to find any in-the-ear headsets types that list A2DP as a feature. What is the model your using?
I'm having great success with my Lubix stereo headset.
I use BH-503 from nokia

Bluetooth headsets

Ive done a bit of searching here and havent found any posts with the information I'm looking for, they only had suggestions such as "i use these they sound good", not facts.
I'm looking for some bluetooth headphone suggestions along with the input sensitivity and bluetooth version as well as your opinions on satisfaction but mainly something that includes the input sensitivity of the different bluetooth headsets out there that people are using.
I am looking to move to a stereo bluetooth headset from my current bose in-ear headset and looking for something that will be the least disappointing in the move.
I use the Motorla S305 headphones. They are compatible fully with the music player (next, prev, stop, play, and etc) and all the phone options (dial, hang up, mute, and etc). The sound quality is great. They are pretty light weight and don't put too much pressure on your ears. I had them on for 4 hours straight with no issues.
I got a pair on amazon for $33.
I'm not sure what you mean by "input sensitivity." Are you talking about button pushing and what not? I haven't had any input or any mechanical complaints yet..
I just got the Sony Ericsson MW600 and it works really well. The nice thing about it is that I can use any wired earphones with it. It also includes an FM radio tuner.

I've been using the Plantronics 903 BackBeat for about a week now and they're awesome.
I also have the Bose in-ear headphones and was pleased to find that the earpieces on the BackBeat are the same exact style as the Bose (but they're not interchangeable).
The BackBeat is nice and loud, and all the buttons work, as well. One thing that I really like is that you can press the main button on the right earpiece to pause your music and use the built-in microphone to pipe in sound from around you. This way, you don't have to remove the headset to hear things around you. I wear them in an office setting so this feature is really important and works awesome.
As you already know from the Bose, these eargels do a killer job of keeping your music in and other sounds out - I can listen to my music at whatever volume without disturbing others nearby, even in the elevator.
Battery life is decent - I make it through a full workday with no issues, and they charge via microUSB (not proprietary) so I can easily charge them off my laptop if necessary.
Not sure what specifics you're looking for, but I'd highly recommend the BackBeat.
thanks for the input guys
as far as the input sensitivity i was thinking about the ohms and decibal values that the headphones can push and what frequencies the phones are rated on producing
a friend at the office has the 903 backbeat and he was going to let me try them, i work in an office environment as well and think they might work, just need to hear them first. The only worry I have is I also want to take them to the gym with me and worry about that loopy in the back bouncing too much, which is why im also looking at the s9-hd headset but have no one to reference to try them out.

Which bluetooth headsets work with the Optimus One?

I'm not sure which headset to buy since my Nokia bt-104 doesnt detect the phone...
I have this one http://www.jabra.com/Sites/Mobile/UK-UK/Products/Pages/JabraCLIPPER.aspx
works like a charm!!
I have successfully used over the years a Nokia BH-600 bluetooth headset with various phones (Sony Ericsson, Nokia, iPhone) and now with the Optimus One. Very good sound quality (both receiving and transmitting), long stand-by and talk time, perfect pairing with all the phones I mentioned above. It gets a bit uncomfortable if you wear it for extended periods of time - which you may since it's so light that you forget you're wearing it. 4+ years of usage and still going strong.
How to connect an oxxo bluetooth headset to lg optimus one?
Can somebody please tell me how to connect an oxxo bluetooth headset to lg optimus one p500?
Thanks in advance!
What abouts stereo headset i have been trying to play songs through headset but there is no sound in them.

Mine BH-503 work perfect on P500. Maybe the sound is set to 0 on the phone or on the heatset? Try putting on some volume on both of them

nokia bh-503 perfect!
I bought the BH-503 last week. The sound was awesome, with every phone except my O1 . There was like a fuzzy sound in the background :/ Does anyone know how to eliminate this? I sold the headset to my friend.
I use Noka bh-604 with p500. Works without problem.
I have one question to those who bought their Bluetooth headphones for music. How do they compare in terms of sound quality to a pair of in-ear headphones? I'm asking because I'm aware that the P500 is a little noisy when using internal ones comparing to a dedicated mp3 player, such as Samsung P3 and I'm curious about either the noise on BT headphones or other sound issues with those. Is the frequency response as it should etc etc?
Thanks.

Personally, I feel that the noise is even worse when being used through a bluetooth headset. I tried some wired Philips headphones which sound great on my iPod, but they feel kind of slightly "screechy" with my O1.
Any wireless device is normally more noisy than the wired equivalent.
I am using a s9-hd copycat from dealextreme and works well.
/F
I'm using quite old SonyEricsson HBH-DS205 from times I used to have SE G900 and to be honest I'm more than surprised that this headset still works flawlessly.

Which headphone remotes work?

The Optimus 3d has a different set of connections for the headphone remote to the Desire HD, iPhone and most likely others.
Can you tell me which headphones with remotes work with the o3d? Also if you find a working one, what features does it have? ie. play, pause, rewind/ffwd, answer calls, mic, vol+/-, display?
To kick it off, I tried Beats Audio earbuds which have a working play/pause button but the skip, mic and vol+/- don't work. The remote is full-featured on the Desire HD.
Keen to hear from the O3D community about this. Also is there a software solution to getting them working? Is there a type of headphone remote that works on all LGs?
the dogtag style jabra bluetooth ones work great!!! i use it all rhe time in my car and with my headphones...

it came today. ordered it a few days ago via amazon for about £7 more than in the link above.
the play, fwd, back buttons work, the volume buttons work but on the bluetooth device and doesn't show up on the phone, at first I thought it didn't work, haven't tried the call functions as I only wanted it for the music as my headphone jack seems a little faulty
it seems like the topic veered to another direction, are there any WIRED headphones that work ok with the lg optimus? (E.G. those meant for iphones ? )

Have a look on the packaging for the iphone logo, but most I've tried don't work...

Download TTPOD music player from android market. it has settings to use the single button on the wired headset to be configured for pause, play, next song and previous song by tapping the single button once to pause, once again to play, double tap for next song and long press for previous song.

wired headphone remotes
Yep, I've had good results with Bluetooth remotes but as for wired I haven't found anything with better functionality that play/pause.
I specifically want handsfree. So far none of the wired headphone remotes I've used have a compatible microphone. Was the Optimus 3D built without a capacity for remote controls and handsfree?

I have nokia BH-502 bluetooh headphones and they are fully functional for music and calls. 8 hours of talk time on single charge and the sound quality and volume is awesome.

HyperX Cloud 2 on the Z3

So i got one of these headsets on test from Kingston and i was wondering how could i use microphone from headsets on my Xperia Z3. Also the sound is amazing. The sound on the phone when i am listening to music is slightly better then on the mine laptop. So, also i dont know
can i somehow record the sound from the headsets microphone with some application?
Also it will be awesome if you check out review of the headsets (probably you will not understand nothing but i think it is good ):
