[Completed] *URGENT* Tablet bricked when installing SuperSU as system app - XDA Assist

I have an Acer Iconia One 7 B1-760HD that I just rooted with Kingroot, then useing SuperSU Me I installed SuperSU and replaced Kinguser. When I was looking in the settings I decided to install SuperSU as a system app, because I have multiple accounts on my device, and don't want people to be confused. Once I rebooted, it booted past the "powered by Android" screen, but freezes on the boot animation. I have waited 10 minutes and no boot, tried wiping user data, nothing happened. I really need help with this, as I haven't even had the device 24 hours, and had little to no time for using it.
The system it was running was Lollipop 5.0.1, if that is any use. If anyone has a stock image (.zip) of the /system folder that would be very much appreciated.
(P.S. When running the root integrity check there was 2 files labelled as modified)

Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Please check this thread to return to stock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/acer-iconia-one-7-b1-730hd-qa-t2908845
I guess you can manually remove SuperSU through a adb shell. Remove SuperSU folder into /system/app and the following file into /system/xbin:
• su
• sugote
• sugote-mksh
• supolicy
Good luck.

Thanks for your reply, but the link you provided is for a different Acer Iconia Tablet, and how would I be able to access the ADB shell if a) USB Debugging is disabled and b) No CWM or access to Android past the BootAnimation.

Sorry, I didn't see that it was for the 730HD model.
You don't reach the bootanimation when entering into recovery mode.
There's no dedicated forum for your device so you may ask in the general Android Q&A forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help
I didn't find an official firmware but some experts or 760HD users will be probably able to help.

[Q] Motorola XT319, Deleted Stock Launcher,USB Debugging not enabled

Hi
I have a Motorola XT319 (GB 2.3.5) China ROM . I rooted it & removed stock launcher & most chinese app, flashed Gapps etc. Then yesterday I did a factory reset. After that phone boots normally & I get signal & notification bars, screen lock, can receive calls etc. But as there is no launcher I cant do any further. There is no gapps in stock rom. USB debugging is disabled so can't push anything through adb.
I can boot into stock recovery & see the option of apply update from SD card & other options as well.
Please suggest is there any way to recover from this. Or any help to find a SBF & flashing it.

You can not install gapps in recovery mode, u need to push it with adb.
Don't try many just use below one & push it.
http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip
adb command
When I typed "adb install gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip" and hit enter ,it says "gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip" does not contain androidmanifest.xml
rm failled for ...................no such file or directory.
please help me by providing steps to install gapps.
Thanks and Regards

[Completed] Cannot find files to flash in CWM or TWRP

Hello, I have just recently received a second lenovo k3 note phone, the first one I was able to root and install a custom recovery and rom using Jin Lins guide on youtube using king root and flashify without any issues:
The second phone I have received has given me a few problems. At first I tried the same simple guide above, but as I opened the file browser software to install flashify and king root, all the file explorers gave me errors that they couldn't find an application to open the apk files etc.
I then decided to install custom recovery and root the phone through the more traditional super SU guide by root junky on youtube.
Everything worked fine, I rebooted into CWM, I went into the install from zip option, here I was supposed to find the super SU zip that I had placed in the internal storage of my phone, but I didn't find it and CWM kept giving me a can't mount SD card error.
I then decided to try TWRP instead by flashing it img file through command line, and again, when I goto the install section, it lists a bunch of folders but I cannot find the rom and super SU zip files I had uploaded to the internal storage which are visible through file explorer. When I try and back up the device, I recieve various can't mount errors of storage and sd card. Also I actually ended up running the application check root and it seems the phone might already have been rooted.
The native software on the Chinese phone is horrible and I would love to use some faster stock rom, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have screen shots but XDA won't let me post them so early.

[Completed] Digital2 8" PAD Platinum D1-861G Stuck in Boot

So I've got this tablet mentioned in the title (I'd post a link but not allowed) and I was trying to remove some Chinese bloatware that was killing the laptop with sub-1h battery life. Long story short, something (I have no idea what) went wrong when I was closing apps to test dependencies, I got a bunch of force-close errors, it rebooted, now I'm stuck at the boot screen.
Here's the additional details I can give;
I have debugging enabled and can reach the device with ADB (I've kicked it into recovery and fastboot to test it a few times)
I have access to recovery from the device; it's stock but allows flashing via SD, ADB, or cache
I can wipe the system (factory) but since something needed in the OS was messed up that doesn't fix the problem (I tried)
There's no data on the tablet that I need (it could be wiped completely if that's a step towards solution
I haven't been able to find a ROM that explicitly says it's compatible with this device
I have a microSD card and an adapter so I can access the microSD from my PC without the tablet
The tablet was rooted, but with Kingo. I could give apps root access but SuperSU didn't work for be and wouldn't update binaries
Along with the rooted bits, I can't seem to use the adb root command or mount /system as rw
Along with the last point, the /system partition seems to be read only at the moment.
Help?

[Completed] Deleted all my .odex files in system root folder. No Boot, No recovery.

I've already posted this in another part of the forum, but I really need to figure out whether this is a fixable issue or not so i know whether or not to get a new phone... any help would be much appreciated!
It started with me half-assed reading the below post, and then horribly executing what i thought i had read...

So (and i know, i messed up) I Deleted all of .odex files with fx root explorer in the main system root folder(stupid!)… phone now starts to boot and gets stuck on android screen and stays there.
So far no recovery options will come up (have tried all start-up button combinations)
And all attempts to connect via usb have failed.
I do have proper drivers installed (installed from lg website)
And I have tried doing a hard reset (phone resets, android recovery robot image with open access panel on chest flashes briefly, then the phone resets again, back to square 1. does not continue to loop.)
I realize i did not follow your directions precisely, and would like to know if you can help me restore my phone, or at least tell me if i have completely ruined it?
It's an LG G Stylo from cricket.
It is rooted (via kingroot)
as mentioned, last known activity before loss of file system access was me deleting ALL .odex files found in a search of system root folder using fx root explorer.
thanks in advance for any reply you or anyone else might have

[Completed] Android tablet soft-bricked after bad choice of bootanimation.zip

Hi all,
Hope you can help. I have a Time2 TC1050G tablet. I recently rooted this successfully and installed Boot Animations from JRummy. Unfortunately, I made a bad choice of Bootanimation and my tablet started boot looping. The animation played for a while, stuck and then rebooted.
I managed to get into recovery and decided to do a factory reset. This completed normally, but it has left the erroneous bootanimation there, so I am no better off.
When installing the new one, I took the oprion of backup.
I'm stuck now. I found another bootanimation.zip of the correct size for my tablet and tried using adb to put it onto the tablet using 'apply upate from adb'. I only get the option to sideload and have tried adb sideload bootanimation.zip.
Adb command line says Total xfer: 0.04% and then ends. Tablet says Opening update package... Installation aborted.
Is there anything I can do? Is it possible to browse the contents of the tablet internal memory and see if I can replace the bootanimation.zip file with the backup?
Any help very gratefully received. I have adb and can follow instructions.
Cheers
