Welcome to Plasma ROM!
The most frequently updated ROM for this phone!
Note: It is HIGHLY recommended to, after installing this ROM (or any ROM) to use a Battery Calibration app! This almost doubled my battery life, and will likely do the same for you!

Install instructions:
Prerequisites:
Must have SafeStrap installed
Must have a windows computer on hand with Odin
Must have an external SD card (SafeStrap also requires this)
Must have about 20-30 minutes
1) Download the ROM.
2) Boot into SafeStrap, click "Wipe," click "Advanced Wipe," then select all the boxes except for your external SD card!!!!
3) Click "Install" and select the ROM. Install it. Do not flash the UPDATE-SuperSU.zip! The ROM already has root!
4) Once the ROM is installed, reboot into Download mode.
5) Use Odin to flash the OC4 firmware only tar (link in the Downloads section)
6) Reboot and enjoy!
Please note that the first boot will take anywhere from 5-20 minutes, so be patient!
Known bugs:
- Settings app is slightly laggy. It's still perfectly usable though. I need to zipalign that APK in the next update.

Sweet this has to be my first time trying out a ROM in the beginning. Why is it that your install instructions are sooo much more simple and straight forward than the other ROMs? Also, I'm coming from Ricks Rom 20 - NK2...shouldn't have any issues right? Just a fresh wipe in safestrap? Also, I kind of screwed up my phone trying to upgrade to BOC4 yesterday and ever since, I can't get my WIFI to work. I know that its not pertinent to this thread but I haven't been on here in a while and was hoping for some advice on how to fix that. I'm not sure if I just did a fresh wipe and upgraded to your Rom, or did a kernel flash it will help. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

How do you get the weekend updates? I would like to find xposed installer that would work with this rom and also a way to boot into Safestap......... Got any updates for these issues?

Hello, Guys; Can you please tell me what version of SuperSU I can use for root on Leagoo M5 Plus? In the Chainfire website, the last version that appears there is the "UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip" and here in the XDA is the " [STABLE][2016.12.15] SuperSU v2.79". Which one can I use to run root on my Leagoo M5 Plus using TWRP? Thanks for all !!!

Also having very terrible battery drain with persistent lagging.
Please any ideas on what can be done to address these issues?

Does anyone know if there is a way to unlock the other bands on the phone without rooting? This rooting thing is not working for me. It's telling me I don't have the right bands. I tried following the instructions but I guess I lack the tech savvy required. Thanks for the help!

How to install
Download ZIP from below.
Reboot to recovery (Press Power + Volume up)
Make a full backup of your current ROM and copy it to your computer to prevent issues.
Wipe: Dalvik, Cache, Data, System.
Install ZIP Rom.
**IMPORTANT ADVISE: Sometines TWRP have issues installing .zip and you might get Error 7. If this happens, please reinstall the ROM. In the second try, TWRP will install without problem. If you still having the issue, download the ROM again (sometimes servers download a corrupt .zip file...).
**IMPORTANT ADVISE 2: On first boot, you will get one bootloop, THAT'S NORMAL, this is caused by ROOT installation. Please, do not interrupt process and look how your device turns ON in 10-15 minutes. Next time you reboot or Power on your device, it will turn ON like always .
Reboot system and wait 10 minutes until your device loads the system (only first time)
Configure your Google Account and Mi Cloud like always

you dont need to use MI account..trying new version, video upload tomorrow..
@coolmihir hope you fix some battery drain in last version..im using it for 10 days now , and no more than 3 hours SOT, 1 day usage..its low..i ve tested different settings, doesnt improve...no 4G signal also..this is the worst ...i ve tried to activate on MENU control but nothing..#*#*4634*#*#..

But if I install this version in my note 4 the rom will not ask me to login to the MI account? Sorry for the doubt

I tried to use this ROM in my NOTE 4 MTK but at the end of the installation and start the settings it asks me for the account MI Cloud to activate the device and since I do not have the password because I could never recover after losing only I can use ROM custom without viclos with The MI cloud account and I never managed to unlink through any means. Anyway thank you I will continue to use the ROM I was using.

i tried both 3.0.2 and zcx twrp, flashing from aosp and stock miui, enabling and disabling miui incremental ota but still my phone reboots after skipping md5 check(no md5 found) and bootloops, repeating everytime.

You are on which base?
If you already on N975FXXU1ASH5 then no need to flash Bootloader and Modem. In that case simply copy file and Flash (recommend clean install, no format data but factory reset option)

Actually its twrp issue and not rom, according twrp developer, it's not possible, may be on Q it may back.

if phone back screens when first (and sometimes in normal) boot this is normal i will try to fix it

Nice work brother, as I see you are new in ROM developing.
Let me give you some advice:
- Use CM12.1 as a base ROM because 4.4.4 is getting discontinued (you can use mine, it has bugs but can use as a daily)
- Install Greenify, this'll save a lot of battery
- Install open-sourced apps as an alternatives for closed-source apps.
For example: Youtube's alternative is NewPipe/SkyTube Legacy
F-Droid is an alternative for Google Play
Also, I'm planning to make a custom kernel for the J1. Can you be a tester if I can ask you?

No, just edit the thread's name to [ROM] [STABLE] [5.1.1] MRom 1.2 for J100H and release the android 5 build. That's it

You can't set default wallpaper unless you modify apk's which can lead to many errors

Ok in the version 1.2 i modified apk cmwallpapers but the user MUST set this wallpaper manually

Now im testing the rom on my j100h

The goal of this rom is to put as much apps as posible (so you don't have to install gapps and... slow down your device)

Way to go @Mihot7Forever ! ...
Here's something i'd like to share with anyone interested in running almost any J100H CM12.1 ROM on J110H j1pop3g... It's a workaround to make the ROM run on J110H, but for sure you'll find many bugs and lags.. It's a workaround for experimental purposes not for reliability or daily usage.
Get the J100H CM12.1 ROM you wish to run on J110H (like for instance version 2 up here ^^^ ), then add the contents of the zip file attached to the ROM and replace the ones inside... and use the attached boot image file when needed...
Special thanks to @smiley9000 and @notnoelchannel for their efforts, I just collected their work and zipped it in a file!
