How to remove gaps between tiles in quicksettings on JB 4.2.2? - General Questions and Answers

Noob question:
I installed Xposed framework on my MTK6589 Chinese phone running on JB 4.2.2. Then I installed HK theme manager and applied the S5 theme from this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/s5-theme-hk-theme-manager-xtheme-engine-t3045968
For some reason, Messaging and Dialer are not themed and my Quicksettings bar looks different than the one from the original thread. There are these ugly gaps between icons which I would like to remove, but I don't know how. Also, the toggles are different and ugly, they have a line below which is supposed to be removed. If there is a way to edit that, I would appreciate your help. I will provide screenshots to be specific on what I mean.

Anyone?

[Request] Black and Semi transparent statusbar

Hello,
I think I'm not the only one, who is hoping that we can get full black and semi transparent (sense like) statusbar for our Notes. I think much more people would use roms based on stock, if we can get that to work, and now is the right time for it, with the official JB.
So who is with me?!

You can do it yourself pretty easily with nstructions (you rom needs to be rooted btw). I once tinkered with beta JB's transparency settings with this guide it it worked pretty well. Here's the link to the original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1890150
Just FYI:
Samsung changed the status bar color to grey because of burn in on amoled displays (of which cause irreperable screen damage to the hardware)
Search for the burn in thread for more info.
Find here on the forum Xposed framework from rovo89, install this, then after that search and install tweakbox for xposed, there you have very nice tweaks, like the status bar color changer, it can be transparent as well, call recording mod etc...
This xposed is amazing, briliant. No need to flash anything from cwm or anything like that, just search, you will be happy when install this

Can I get AOSP style pull down toggles on TW?

I'm on Clean ROM 8.1 which is a 4.3 TW rom. I'm wondering if I can make my pull-down toggles in the status bar look like the AOSP (from CM at least) ones? Anyone know a way to do this?
Thanks!
Bonus: It would be super awesome if there was a way to get the entire status bar and pull-down area to look like AOSP. Not sure if this is possible, maybe through some Xposed module? If anyone knows of anything that would be great!
I think the closest you're gonna get is is Team Bandit's Theme. It should be compatible with CleanROM however I would check first with the devs.
Unfortunately there's no real way to theme stock TW on the fly. You either have to wait for someone to release a theme or download a themeable ROM like Alliance. Even then it will never look 100% like AOSP.
edit: apparently xposed does have a theme engine. I'm not very familiar with xposed though so I can't give you information on that.

How to add Touchwiz styled Notification Area on AOSP ROM....??

I was wondering If I could add touchwiz styled Notification area/quickssettings on my AOSP Stock ROM(4.2.2) Based on MT6572 (MediaTek).
Actually I don't like Google's quicksettings and want Touchwiz styled Notification Area as it's more convenient. I have used third party apps like Notification Toggle but I did not like it as it doesn't have swipe gesture and long pressing any icon won't take me to its settings e.g WiFi. Moreover, it doesn't have any resemblance to Touchwiz. I like Touchwiz UI in every aspect but can't afford to have a Samsung Phone :'( I use HK Theme Manager for theming my mobile as Touchwiz. Though it works like a charm but still my ROM lacks Touchwiz Quicksettings PANEL.
I looked around but didn't find anything helpful. I'm a noobie and haven't ever decompiled or edited any app. Just fond of flashing Custom ROMS which I do with perfection. I asked a developer the same question and he said that I should edit framework, but he didn't tell me what exactly to edit. I Strongly believe that any XDA member would definitely be helping me. As I haven't received any response from XDA's side in my last 2 threads, so I humbly request you guys to guide me about this topic. Would be highly grateful. Thanks in advance!

Why on earth would you post this in the Galaxy S7 board? lol no wonder no one has answered you.
I'll just tell you this since I'm here already...it is not possible. You may be able to find some app or theme that has some of the features you are looking for...but TouchWiz is proprietary and the notification and quick settings are baked into the entire touchwiz framework. You are oing to have to find a alternative option to get the features you want. What features or rather what about the TouchWiz notification do you like ? I am trying to think of things from my past galaxy devices and I can't think of anything the touchwiz shade can do that my shade in Cataclysm(nexus 5) can't. AOSP is so much sexier tan TouchWiz.
Also, why on earth would you want to replace AOSP quick settings with Touchiz...touchwiz is so ugly.
Actually I was unable to find New thread button on xda's homepage.
Well, I think it's possible because I flashed a touchwiz themed ROM and the developer themed AOSP ROM to look like Touchwiz. But it was buggy so, I flashed backup of my ROM.
And I love this thing about Touchwiz notification panel that all the toggles are on the same row and When we pull down status bar, at that moment we can see toggles. Unlike AOSP we don't have to click the button on the top right of the notification bar to move to quick settings.
Install cm12.1 on your device and install galaxy s6 theme

Change Navigation Bar Icons on JB

Hello everyone. I hope someone read this post and can help me solve the problem. I'm going crazy to change the icons of the navigation bar in my Tab 2 Gtp-3110 (Jelly Bean 4.1.2). The device is rooted, with the exposed and the busybox installed. I tried many tutorial on the web (and XDA) but none of them was functional. Below my experiences:
-SYSTEMUI ICONS (systemui.apk editor): although I have assigned a new personal icon (30x30 32bit png) from the gallery to the existing one, nothing is changed at the next reboot
-Android L Navigation Bar.apk (aka lollipop navbar): After activating the xposed module and modifying the build.prop as suggested, nothing is changed at the next reboot and the navbar icons remain those of the stock firmware
-xstana: it works but navbar icons are all moved to the right and side by side (without spacing from the icons)
-Ultimate Dynamic Navbar: it works, but it's an extra service (about 10 mb) and it's not a real alternative to modify the navbar (otherwise the icons are not customizable and you can only choose those available from the app)
Now I'm trying to modify directly the systemUI.apk but I can not figure out which icons I have to replace. Can you give me a hand?
