I was looking at this article: Water Cooling Flagships Sees Dramatic Performance Improvements and was wondering how the Moto X style performed, so I run a test myself!
Here is the raw data for air cooling, each new column is a new run the geekbench, all these runs were perform one after the other during a 10 minutes period.
Single-core| 1249 | 1274 | 1277 | 1273 | 1271 | 1255 | 1255 | 1258 | 1245 | 1240 | 1241 | 1242 | 1242 | 1238
Multi-core | 3554 | 3556 | 3513 | 3469 | 3500 | 3479 | 3444 | 3392 | 3420 | 3373 | 3381 | 3378 | 3410 | 3346
So our Moto X is doing great with normal air cooling, much like the LG G4 (no surprise as they have the same CPU).

I didn't run ice liquid cooled test, as I'm sure the result will be the exact same than the air cooled one.
That is the positive about feeling the heat since part of the design for heat dissipation. Some devices seem to run cooler, but might not. They are covering up the heat and that is not usually a good thing.

Post your tablet, ROM, OS, and score so we can have an idea how other tablets and/or ROMS perform in comparison. I think for $280 the Viewsonic G Tablet is a hard deal to beat, if you have a contender? Hit me with some numbers.
New to this forum, so limited on posting from external sites.
Anyone have the Xoom, or another big tablet they can post scores. I'm interested in how the Archos tablets perform?

Firefox 4 would not run because not Flash support.
Strange:
Opera runner up previous benchmark, but worst score for the Gtab. Opera on Droid X is fastest for HTML but slowest for Flash 9.
One could also conclude that Flash 10.2 runs about the same on Froyo vs Gingerbread, but the browsers on Gingerbread are faster than Froyo. Almost 3 times faster! How much of that is dual core cpu?
