Hi, I am from Asia and my note5 model is SM-N9200. I noticed the icons in SystemUI are all qmg format instead of png. Would you please let me know if your mod is still working on my phone? Thanks.

I wasn't aware of that.
I would have to say, NO, that section of the Aroma would have no effect on the statusbar. The only way it would work is the developer of the rom you are running would have to convert the SystemUI.apk to use png's instead. Not a hard thing to do, but this mod will not do that. Sorry.
The other sections should works fine though. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
When trying new things ALWAYS make a Nandroid just to be safe.
Please report back if things are working or not working. This will help future development of this project. Thanks again!

What's up bud? How's things going over here in Note land?
You should stop by my OZOP thread and check the shots and see what you're missing! Lol.
As far as this working g on Tmo? Yes, most of the options should work with most variants.
Honestly I'm a little disappointed I have yet to receive any feedback from the Note community? All the S6 and S6+ report have been good.
I've just had a few of my old users(including you of course), ask about Note 5 stuff and thought I would give it a go.
Help us all out and give it a run?
Make a Nandroid first of course.
DO NOT SELECT A KERNEL!
DO NOT SELECT THE ZIPALIGN OR SPEEDY TWEAKS EITHER!
Getting mixed results with some working and some not. Best to just stay away from those for now. I'm working on either fixing them or removing them.
The bootanimation, TWRP themes and boot splash options all work fine. Debloating should trim most of the system apps, I'm sure there are some that are Note specific.
Anyways good to hear from you and let me know how things go.
Make a Nandroid and report back. Thanks

Hi sir..This is a full rom with option to customize?.. Is there any problem if I'm flashing with N9208 dual sim?.. Thanks

Which mods can't be restored from a nandroid besides the boot splash?
Can someone post a stock boot splash with instructions for installing? I full wiped my device and restored to stock nandroid before finding out the boot splash wasn't restored. Got it from arters thread.

Unzip the attached file, move param.bak to sdcard, then flash the restore zip in recovery. The boot splash is from arter's thread and is from the international variant.

hi. i really appricate your work. i just want a request. there is a gif when open aroma installer. it's look like tv open animation. can you add this animation for boot animation?

I will say that the debloat doesn't work for anything on the note5. That is all that I have tried

I tried to change everything and the only thing that worked was bootscreen...on t-mobile note 5

Requirements: You must have a rooted G1/Dream/Sapphire [32b] devices only. You also need the Danger SPL and one of the 2.x radio's
Changelog: AndroidMobSquad-v0.3 built off of RC3
-Stuff removed: (removed to free up memory): amazon, rom manager, google voice (download from market and install on external storage if you choose to), and lot's of ringtones (If your favorite ringtone is gone, let us know which one or ones, and we will add it back in.)
-Stuff added: Bootanimation, Htc Launcher, 14 wallpapers, black keyboard, and custom theme.
Instructions:
-Full wipe before flash. Flash rom and then gapps. We added our own gapps with some things themed like the browser quick search box, and the genie widget. So please feel free to install these worry free.
Latest verion of ROM: http://drop.io/puq3x60

Gapps: http://drop.io/xt6xm4g
MD5 Sums: 261429bf2624a96b7a043ed94557a5ca
-Download the xml file and place it on the root of your sdcard. Then go to CyanogenMod settings > User interface > Tweaks extras, then select Import colors to XML
XML Download: http://drop.io/zlfn7ih
-We recommend downloading or installing SetCpu to overclock to 576mhz. If you wish to overclock higher, download dumfuqs kernel and flash in recovery. A good and stable speed is 595mhz max. You must set up SetCpu first before flashing this kernel and select set on boot, otherwise it won't work.:
Download from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?b7v09yej45we844
Update: If you want appstoext partition, you can download Firerat's patch. Many people have added it to their roms, but there may be issues in doing this as opposed to running the patch from your sdcard. I like to use compcache. Follow the instructions on his page, and run only the commands from the script that you need. The Facebook sync patch is not needed any more, this has been fixed.
Firerat's page: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=679572
-Set CM Settings > Performance to "disable surface dithering", "lock home in memory", enable "JIT", enable CompCache. Your phone will probably reboot once you enable compcache, so make sure you have anything else you want checked before enabling compcache.
Looks good. Who's rom is it based on? It looks similar to htclay's Superfly.
eh, it looks like the same only.. edited it. We didnt want to copy someone else's work if you know what i mean

yeah I think he messaged a moderator about it to remove the other threads
testing the ROM since the past day
all things are going great untill the compcache dumped me i turned it off and enabled swap by firerat patch 138b, things are again going great now
one I want "Old Phone" and "Digital Phone" Ring tones back
2nd is that the keyboard is a too contrast in coloring... it is having strain on eyes... specially in low light conditions... so i would like the colors of the keyboard to be a bit to the duller side ... may be inspired by the original keyboard
3rd i would recomend to try use swap instead of compcache if some programs are shutting down due to low memory
which way to app2sd? ext or fat?
"If you want appstoext partition, you can download Firerat's patch."
Sounds like ext and not fat....
Seems more like if you want Apps2sd on FAT just use this ROM as it is, if you want them on EXT apply Firerats Patch.

Basically yes. I'm pretty sure that apps2ext partition is on cyanogenmod's list of things for do for 6.1.0, which should be coming soon. As far as 6.0.0 goes, apps2ext is not one of the options.
thank you
amazing rom only thing can u add htc hero widgets like calender weather.
Theming someone else's hard work and calling it a ROM is asinine.
Why don't you just put a metamorph theme up in the Theme section and call it a day.

Well for one, the framework would not run properly at first on rc3, so I had to recompile the framework-res.apk. and second I added all the themed icons in seperatly. As far as the launcher icon goes, we are planning on changing that on the next version. So please tell me one thing in this rom that was already a metamorph theme for rc3.
I'm saying why don't you just make this a metamorph theme instead of calling it a full fledged rom when it's clearly just CM6 all dolled up.
Sent from my HTC Magic using the XDA mobile application powered by Tapatalk
well what we are trying to mean is that we had to edit the theme and recompile it so it would run fine on the rom. I know it looks like it would be easier to just make a full theme for the rom but i don't know exactly.
The ROM is running great on my phone but I have a slight problem - when I try to run my browser, the phone will shut off and takes a couple minutes to restart. I tried wiping and flashing the ROM again and keep running into the problem. Any suggestions?

[ROM] DJ20 Cellular South Showcase Pick-n-Pack 0.2 ROM

******This ROM is for the Cellular South Showcase only******
***Haptic feedback/vibrate functions have been fixed***
With the help of Agpilot!, I was able to get a basic ROM up and running for the Cellular South Showcase. It is stripped down, but fear not, I do not remove dependencies. If it's missing something from the stock set that you want in it, there is a pack of Addons that you can download and flash pieces back in to the ROM.
So that you understand, I do not have a Showcase myself. I am a Mesmerize user. Therefore, I cannot verify any of this myself. I was only able to get this far with the help of a brave tester. As with anything that I do for the Mesmerize, I strongly encourage you to make a backup before you flash anything. I also recommend Titanium Backup to save apps and settings to make things easier after you flash. As a warning, I am not responsible for anything that you do to your phone or the carnage that may result if you go on a rampage because something does not work properly. I am also not responsible if you pee your pants with joy because everything works and you are overjoyed.
Requirements/Recommendations: You must have Clockworkmod Recovery already working to flash this ROM. I recommend you have Quick Boot installed, as it helps boot you into recovery with the touch of a button.
On to the good stuff. I recommend you download both the ROM and the Addons at the same time. This way you can quickly add packages if you want them without having to wait on another download. Put the Showcase_beta_0.1.zip on your sdcard. Unzip the Addons pack and decide what you want to add back in. Put those zip files on your sdcard also.
****IF YOU HAVE VOODOO INSTALLED, DISABLE LAGFIX FIRST****
****IF YOU HAVE VOODOO INSTALLED, DISABLE LAGFIX FIRST****
****IF YOU HAVE VOODOO INSTALLED, DISABLE LAGFIX FIRST****
YES, YOU CAN ENABLE IT AGAIN AFTER YOU FLASH. This is just a precautionary step.
**In CWM Recovery and Voodoo Recovery, use the power button as select**
After you have everything ready boot into recovery. (If you get into stock/blue recovery choose apply sdcard:update.zip) Choose install from zip. Choose zip from sdcard. Choose Showcase_beta_0.1.zip. Choose Yes. Once done, flash each of the zip files that you have chosen from the Addons. After you have finished with all of those, reboot. Your first boot will take longer than usual. If for some reason it sticks at the boot animation for longer than 5 minutes, pull the battery, use three button method to boot back into recovery and choose wipe data/factory reset and reboot.
Apps in the Addons pack.
Allshare
Amazon MP3
Asphalt 5
Buddies Now
Car Cradle
Daily Briefing
Days
Desk Crale
Dual Clock
Email and Yahoo Email (single pack)
Facebook
Free Games
Galaxy Help
Live Wallpapers (pack)
Market
Memo
Mini Diary
MySpace
Samsung Weather, Stock, Calander (pack)
ThinkFree Office
Touchwiz Calander, Calculator (pack)
Voice Commands
Write and Go
Everything else was left in. I do not take anything out from the dependencies so anything that isn't in the Addons pack should be there. If you have Titanium Backup and do a restore to an app that isn't showing up, it should magically reappear.

I am also happy to let you know that I have partially ported two themes to go with this ROM. I have gotten permission from the developers to port these themes and I have recently done so for the Mesmerize. These are only partial ports, as I am very new to the porting process and have not gotten the whole process down, but it is a start. Thanks to jabbawalkee and dena994 for the original themes. If you would like to see pictures of what I think they will look like, remember I don't have a Showcase to test or take screen shots, take a look in the theme section for the DI14 Blues and DI14 Galassia Themes.

I thought I would also add a zip of the icons that I personally made and use for the Blues theme with ADW launcher with 5 icon dock. They are "word" icons for Phone, Contacts, Apps, Messages, and Internet (for Browser).

Haptic feedback/vibrate fixed
With a brand new build and the testing of Agpilot! again, we have fixed the vibrate functions!!!
So now everything is working as expected.
Awesome I've been waiting for a rom and this looks great thanks. Is there a way we can port the fascinate unlock screen to the showcase? Its a puzzle unlock always instead of only when a called is missed on the showcase.

No problem. I'm hoping to bring more options as I get better at what I do. With our phones being so close internally, it doesn't take much to do the same things in both. So you can bet, if I do something on the Mesmerize, I'm going to do it on the Showcase, too.
Got cwm backup working. Still need radio baseband backup and a nandroid backup since I bricked my other galaxy. Phone aint cheap to replace. User error.......

Now that you have that part done, go into ROM Manager and flash the Fascinate recovery if you haven't yet. Then you can do nandroid backups from ROM Manager or CWM recovery.

Same thing. I prefer to do mine from recovery, but you can still do them through ROM Manager.
If you have already flashed the voodoo kernel you need to disable lagfix before you do your backup. I assume that you haven't, but just to be sure I thought I would put this warning in here.

INSTRUCTIONS
I Nor anyone from TEAM WICKED are responsible for what you do or happens to your phone. You except all risks that are involved with flashing this Rom or anything to your phone to make it one WICKED beast.
With this being a new version of android, there are a few necessary steps to take to insure smooth sailing when coming from 4.1.2... You must read this and then read it 2 more times.
I HAVE TESTED THIS WITH TWRP 2.6.3.0. MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR INTERNAL SDCARD. WHEN YOU FLASH 4.3 ROMS IT CREATES A NEW FILE STRUCTURE AND SOMETIMES YOUR OLD FILES MAY BE CORRUPTED.
1. Download the ML1 modem zip from **HERE** Thanks to invisiblek. Read what he has to say in that thread so you understand and hit the thanks button while your there for all the work he does for the communiy. transfer to your internal or external SD
2. Download Wicked Sensations to your PC and transfer to your internal or external SD
3. Backup your internal storage to your PC (One can never be TOO safe). Boot into recovery, and make a backup of your current setup there as well.
4. Wipe cache/dalvik/data/system
5.Locate where you transfered ML1 Modem, and install
6. Locate where you transfered Wicked Sensations, and install
---once installed, reboot system.
KEEP IN MIND THE FIRST BOOT WILL TAKE AWHILE. LONGEST I'VE SEEN ON ANY CLEAN INSTALL.
SYSTEMUI MAY CRASH UPON SETUP, JUST HIT OK AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN
***To enable developer options in Settings, go to Settings/More/About Device and keep clicking the Build Number until it says it's unlocked.
myHUB Instructions: Open the myHUB app and it will prompt you to enter a username. Enter any name that you would like. Then click Settings and be sure to choose your recovery that you are using. If you don't do this it may fc after downloads and won't reboot and install. Also the MyHub mods were all made for sprint Wicked Sensatins and although most will work fine for the verizon version of the rom be prepaired with a backup just in case something goes wrong. THe full themes in myhub are for SPRINT only and all verizon compatible themes will be posted here.

Questions And Answers
Question: Why do I not have data after flashing this rom?
Answer:
1. Be sure you flashed the ML1 modem.
2. If you did flash it go to Settings/More/About Device and make sure it says I535VRUCML1 in the Baseband version. If it says unknown or anything else, download the modem and flash again.
Question: Why is myHUB fc after trying to install a mod that I downloaded?
Answer: Be sure to go into myHUB settings and choose which recovery you are running.
Question: When I open up Xposed Framework, why does it say that the latest version of Xposed is currently not active?
Answer: Click that section that says that and click install. Once it says its done choose to reboot to activate.
Question: Why does Wanam Xposed not do anything?
Answer: It does a ton of stuff. You have to first activate Xposed framework stated in the above answer, then you have to click the Modules tab, and check Wanam Xposed.
Question: How do I get rid of the network speed in the top left side of the status bar?
Answer: Go into Settings/MyDevice/Wicked Rom Control and choose status bar settings. Show Network Speed (you may have to click it twice to turn off).
Question: How come nothing i change in Wicked Rom Control changes?
Answer: Sometimes a reboot is required and maybe I need to get a few small things working.
Question: Is there a stock theme for this Rom?
Answer: No, If you want a stock theme I would suggest flashing one of the other awesome stock roms available in the thread.
Question: Can I use mods from older versions of Wicked?
Answer: No!!!!!!!!
Question: Can I use mods from other roms on this rom?
Answer: I would suggest not to, but if you do, please have a backup ready and don't complain to me if it doesn't work.
Question: Are the themes from Wicked v5.0 compatible with this rom?
Answer: NO!!!!!!!!! Not until they are updated for this version. We will definitely let you know when they are ready. Team Wicked themers are hard at work as we speak!!
Question: Why am i getting a notification in recovery that I have lost root?
Answer: I am trying to figure out why some are seeing this. It doesn't happen to most, but some are seeing it. Please be patient as I look for a fix.
Question: Can I restore data after flashing this rom from a previous version?
Answer: NO!!!! Take the time to set up everything again and you will see a lot less issues. PLEASE!!!!!
Question: Can I restore my apps and system app/data from Titanium Backup from 4.1.2 Roms?
Answer: No I wouldn't. Take the time to setup everything fresh when coming from different versions of Android.
Question: How do I enable developer option in Settings?
Answer: go to Settings/More/About Device and keep clicking the Build Number until it says it's unlocked.

Good point. I will try to add Q&A to the 2nd post when I get a chance. I was kind of strapped for time and will not have much time with my pc over the next few days. But I sure hope people are not just flashing without reading the instructions first. Going from 4.1.2 to 4.3 is a big deal and everyone should be aware of the risks. If you do not know what you are doing read, read, read some more and then read it again to make sure. I soft bricked my phone and was able to get it going again but please please please read the instructions and know what build you are on. ML1 is for us Verizon users. MK3 is most certainly not. Ok sorry had to get that our there. Now enjoy the rom.

I noticed that in the Q&A it said not to restore apps from titanium backup from a 4.1.2 rom.
I was wondering if it was just optional because I have always restored all my apps/data (never system though) whenever I would flash an aosp rom 4.2-4.4 and I've never had a problem occur.
Great job Mike! This looks awesome!

That's up to you. Go ahead and give it a shot but if you are noticing issues you might want to start over
before posting problems. I restored apps but not data and am having no issues.

[Abandoned] [ROM] [5.0] Plasma ROM

- Debloated
- One of the few ROMs with working SHealth!
- Easy install
- Cool boot animation
- Dark themed using @AL_IRAQI's layers themes
- Android 5.0 Lollipop
- Working SBrowser - much faster than Chrome (and uses less battery power)
- Download booster working out of the box
- Updates every weekend!
- Battery life seems to be amazing
- UPSM works flawlessly
-Modded TouchWiz launcher - buttery smooth
Changelog:
v2.0 (5/16/2015)

Prerequisites:
Must have SafeStrap installed
Must have a windows computer on hand with Odin
Must have an external SD card (SafeStrap also requires this)
Must have about 20-30 minutes
1) Download the ROM.
2) Boot into SafeStrap, click "Wipe," click "Advanced Wipe," then select all the boxes except for your external SD card!!!!
3) Click "Install" and select the ROM. Install it.
4) Once the ROM is installed, reboot into Download mode.

6) Reboot and enjoy!
Please note that the first boot will take anywhere from 5-20 minutes, so be patient!
Known bugs:
-None so far, report them if needed.
Credits:
- Thanks to jrkruse, I used his OC4 ROM as a base. I also used his themes Settings and Messages apps.
- Thanks to AL_IRAQI, I used his layers themes. (This is the themed notification dropdown and keyboard.)
- Thanks to elliwigy, for answering many questions and for a list of debloatable things.
- Thanks to geohot for root, ChainFire for SuperSU (and FlashFire), and Hashcode for SafeStrap. Without these 3 people, none of these ROMs would be possible.

Thanks man. I won't be giving you the full ZIP, just a few flashable ZIPs with the S6 apps. I have homework to do tonight, but I will begin tomarroww.
EDIT: Don't mind my spelling... i'm just... tired...
On a side note (pun not intended): I wonder how difficult it would be to port a Note 4 ROM over to this device...? They have almost identical specs...

Maybe I uploaded it wrong...? Try this one and tell me how it goes. If it works, I'll put it in the thread.
Is it me or are there 4 forums with this rom ?
Downloaded and flashed. I had to use the 2nd file you posted for Odin.
So far it seems pretty smooth, I like the keyboard, the whole rom has a fresh feel to it.
The one thing that doesn't seem to work is the download booster.
I'm really looking forward to check out battery life
Thanks
Battery Mod not included?
Is there a jkruse Zip to flash for Dark Dialer and Contacts that is compatible with Plasma?
people still having weird bluetooth issues with this rom? It might just be all lollipop roms but im hopeful.
Needs a little work
The rom seems to lag here and there but majority of the time it runs smooth, as for the battery life... i mean no offense but its far from amazing . it seems like something system wise is taking a good chunk out of the battery. i checked all the user apps and stopped/uninstalled some them, however no improvement. On a good note the dark mode was a very smart move (thats what pretty much sold me flashing this rom) and the organization of the settings is nice also. i think everything in this roms is pretty awesome except for battery and lag.

I didn';t see it in your list of recoveries but @arter97 has a Philz REcovery for the NOte 5 posted at th esame place he has his kernel - I can attest that it works fine for those that want an alternative to TWRP.
Just thought I would mention it - thanks for putting this thread together - great resource!
@mocsab
I previously read about the Philz recovery in his post, but could not seem to find a link to the recovery, so I didn't list it.
After reading your post above, I decided to dig a little deeper and now I see that if you follow the download links to the location of his kernel, the recovery is also listed at that location.
I updated OP with this info.
Thanks for the info on letting us know that it's working too.
Nevermind
that's the first time I've heard of that issue... not sure what's up with that?!?!?
Anyone have these apps on their device? I'm stock rooted.

Have you downloaded and applied a theme in the theme store?
If you did, that's probably stuff for the theme for your device.
To test this, try uninstalling the theme and see if they go away... then reinstall the theme and see if they come back.

That was it. Good call. Helps if you don't steam the broccoli before flashing things on your 4 day old phone. I went from 87 user apps to 30 after uninstalling and wiping out the rest with TiBu. And that was only one theme.
I think the catalyst was this old dude at work going all red scare when I told him I got a 128gb usb thumb drive with a micro usb port for 11 bucks off the geek app.. Talked about hidden usb drive Spyware to steal government secrets.

Why don't you just do the smart thing and make a backup while you are on stock so if you ever need to return all you have to do is restore it

I was already told by you once to create backup I do not have a computer and as I stated before I did not make a backup why is it so hard to upload the rom odexed and deodexed for those who can't Odin back to stock when problems arise note 4 forum had wanam odexed rom which was blazing fast and best battery over deodexed rom
Also a backup takes up 3 to 4gb on your SD card when a rom zip only uses 1.7 to 2gb max

Because the point of XDA is not to hold everybody's hands it is for people who know what they are doing to share their work with each other..
It is not our responsibility to upload both versions of the ROM it is not our responsibility to help when things go wrong I'm not trying to be rude here but making a backup is always the smart thing to do no matter how much space it takes.. that way you have something to fall back on
You do not need a computer you can simply hook a On the Go cable to your phone with a flash drive for extra storage there are many options out there.
And no you can make a backup of the system only which will take less space especially if you enable compression then it will be under one gig
If you do not like the way some things are done you are more than welcome to start doing this yourself

Hey bro, you think he gets paid to do this for us? If so, you're dead wrong! Don't be selfish and ruin it for the rest of us. Appreciate his hard work and read the thread and learn, Or better yet, learn how to do it yourself! Actually that would be the best thing to do then we don't have to worry about unappreciative members ruining it for the members that are greatful for his time and efforts!

Are you crazy the only thing u pointed out was something that you had a problem with personally not the rom.. no you did not help me at all I was one who helped you get back where you needed to be.. and I responded to a question to help you've got to make backups now don't get all upset because you did not do your part and do what everyone always says to do which is make a backup.. its people like you to think you are owed something for free and people should always help you guys whenever y'all don't follow instructions maybe I'll pull everything and we will not have anything for development in the note 5. Now enough of this childish stuff if you cannot take responsibility for your own lack of actions then expect for someone to help you..
