[Completed] How to replace/repair damaged SIM card reader ? - XDA Assist

Hi
I have recently purchased a Moto X Play(2 weeks back); I had to trim an old micro SIM to nano SIM. It did not fit well on installation and when I tried to take it out (a bit forcefully), I damaged the gold pins of the SIM card reader and now the phone is not detecting any SIM . I suspect there is also some issue with the SIM tray as it takes a lot of effort to open it with a key. I tried for replacement of the phone but it did not work out. Is there any means by which I can get the damaged parts repaired/replaced within a reasonable time frame? Any help will be highly appreciated. Waiting anxiously for responses from you all .
Thanks
Anurag

[Completed] Samsung Galaxy GT-P5110 - 81 pin fpc connector (digitiser/touch screen)

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum but have been following XDA for a good while without being registered because most of the answers to my questions were found within other forum posts but I've not found an answer to this question;
I currently possess a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (GT-P5110) and the touch screen does not work. The LCD works perfectly but doesn't respond to touches. I ordered an 81 pin FPC connector to replace the old port directly on the main board but am not 100% sure on how to remove the old one. The reason for the replacement was that I noticed a few bent pins which I believe may be causing the problem.
Can someone point me in the right direction. I won't take it to a shop because I am looking at this as a learning curve so would prefer to do this from home.
What tools would be required to remove the old 81 pin FPC connector from the GT-P5110.
Any help would be much appreciated and thank you in advance.

[Completed] I've been dupped... Someone please help!

I bought this phone off "off a real nice guy" I told him up front it was for my niece who had recently shattered her Note 3. I have a 5 and couldn't really afford to pay for another. So I bought this Note Edge. Well it was a T Mobile and he said it would work fine with my AT&T Sim? And if I had any problems he'd send me links to put it back to stock? Well would be stock refuse my AT&T Sim also... Either way, here's what's going on. The phone works data, WiFi, calls etc... Idk if all tweaks work? I'm not familiar with this stuff. But after 24hrs. The phone keeps saying it has to restart cuz there is NO Sim. I open it restart and it's fine. But this is annoying every couple hours =( can anyone help me?

[Completed] IMacwear m7 smartwatchphone

I bought a new iMacwear m7 smartwatchphone and started using it on Australian Optus network which is one of the leading mobile networks. Assembly (battery, sd card and sim) were pretty simple and the watch came fully charged. It is very sturdy though a little heavy. Now, for cons: Network keeps dropping on and off several times a day (sometimes gets restored upon restarting). As it stands it is highly unreliable and unusable. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

[Completed] Running Smartphone without battery

Hello, I have a fake Samsung (Chinese) smartphone. It used to work but, It was lost and I found it. Battery gone bigger and now screen is a little bit apart of the case (like 3-4 mm).
Now I would like to use this smartphone without battery. I researched a little bit and I found a video of an Indian guy on youtube that shows which wire will be soldered to where. (Because I am new, I can't insert links to this post. The video is "Use your phone without a battery....USB phone.....Works for android like charm" on Youtube.)
But his smartphone has 3 terminals and mine has 4 of them. I am not sure of where to solder them. Can you help me, please?

im facing a problem with my htc phone.
After 3 months both of my 2 local engineers failed to fix it.
Suddenly my phone stopped reading sim card. When i was pressured over the screen top of the sim it was working fine. But only when i was add pressure.
