Factory image not flashing via TWRP - Asus Transformer TF700

Hi,
my tf700 refuses to flash the factory images provided by asus. I have tried it on twrp 2.8.7.0 and twrp 2.8.7.2 by AREA51.
Both give the error: "Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/WW_epad-user-10.6.1.14.10.zip'"
Can anyone help me fix this?
Kindest regards,
Jasper

"assert failed: package_extract_file("blob", "/tmp/blob")"
Edit:
I seem to have a lot of inconsistencies with my tablet, one time flashing a rom works, the other time it doesn't. Installing factory images works, then it doesn't. One time setup gets past "Checking internet connection" other times it doesn't (<-my biggest problem atm).
What have you guys done to make it work so well or what have I done to mine that it doesn't

It may be running out of memory when extracting the file. The blob has 800 MB, the device has 1 GB of RAM, and TWRP needs more memory than the stock recovery.
You can try extracting the blob on your PC and installing it with
Code:
fastboot flash staging blob

Hmm, good to know.
It seems to be booting, I'll edit if it's booted.
Edit: It booted, thanks!
Now I need to reinstall Omnirom and hope it works and not hang at Asus' splashscreen.
Edit2: Any idea why the kanged version of twrp doesn't save settings? The "allow modifications" thing keeps coming back, timezones aren't saved etc. etc.

Old phone clockworkmod or flash something like cm7

okay so i have a old android phone (1.6 donut) (rooted) Htc tattoo/click i want to install clockworkmod recovery and then flash cm7 with 2.3 gingerbread so i can overclock it and maybe i dont know i need a custom kernel?
so can anyone help me to get clockworkmod recovery to work?
Here you go. I'm not going to kill you over not searching, sometimes it can seem like a vast ocean of info and be overwhelming, but you can run a search for the tatoo/click forum and usually in ANY forum the rooting/flashing stuff is stickied to the development forum.
Just wanted to give you a heads up for easier searching next time, here's the link you need.

No, it means you are going to have to trial and error some things.
Flash this recovery, then try the ROM again.

Actually, forget all that amon ra stuff, flash ClockworkMod from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=854152
THEN flash CM7 ROM, then full wipe + cache + Dalvik, then flash gapps, then restart. (just my personal preferred order)
edit: i would just flash it via adb
adb push recovery.img /sdcard/recovery.img
adb shell
su
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
exit
exit
then just type adb reboot recovery and flash ROM

[Q] Can't flash anything in CWM

Hello,
I just unlocked my bootloader...installed CWM 6.0.4.5.....installed SU (verified root) and attempted to flash CM11
I pushed the rom.zip to /sdcard/
I also pushed gapps to the same directory
I tried to install CM from within CWM and I got "E:Can't open /data/media/cm-11-20140205-NIGHTLY-hammerhead.zip (bad) Installation aborted."
I tried to install gapps as well, just to see....and I get the same error.
What am I doing wrong?
I also tried dropping the files straight to the phone from within windows, and then running them from CWM..same error.
I also attempted to sideload CM11...and I get "E:Can't open /tmp/update.zip (bad) Installation aborted."
I have been running custom roms since the G1....(G2...Nexus 4....Galaxy series phones) this is the first time that i've hit a roadblock like this from all directions.
Any advice would be awesome, thank you

Oh, yeah..I should probably correct that...I did not manually flash SuperSU.
Upon restarting my phone from CWM at some point it asked me if I wanted to protect root, and install SU.
When I loaded up android, I verified that SuperSU had been installed, and ran an app that requires root to verify.

[Q] Nandroid Backup Problem

Hey guys,
I was trying to back up my current ROM (Purity w/Code Blue Kernel) using nandroid. But, when I do a quick backup (Set recovery as TWRP), it says that I don't have enough disk space. I have more than 25gb free, lol. This has happened several times - I've factory reset and also flashed a factory image. Nothing works. I would appreciate a solution.
Thanks

So, how big was the file that you flashed?
If what you flashed is smaller than the partition then the old AVB0 footer from the stock recovery is there.
That wouldn't agree with the position of the new AVB0 header for TWRP.
Or maybe you're supposed to defeat AVB somewhere?
See: https://android.googlesource.com/platform/external/avb/+/master/libavb/avb_footer.h
Disclaimer: I don't know Samsung and I've never run into trouble with AVB.

@gerryscottiano instead of asking this question in a new thread, it would be a better idea to ask in the thread where you got TWRP from.
Also, the TWRP image for this device is about 42MB, not 50KB.
