Hi, I'm new to the forum, I am kinda scared so I'll try to be careful.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite GT-S7390 (I know it's not a great device, but it's what I have), I had installed in it a CM11 rom which worked pretty well, except for not playing videos. In a Facebook group for users of that phone I saw a modded version that worked several video bugs for that rom, so I downloaded it along with the GApps, copied them into the SD Card and went into recovery (TWRP).
When I tried to factory reset, I had the next issue: "Unable to mount /sdcard" (which is the internal memory, I think). I tried to mount it on my PC and format it (I'm not really sure what mounting is, I'm sorry), but I wasn't successful.
Anyway, I rebooted the device, and it asked me if I wanted to re-install SU because I wasn't root (which I was). First time I said yes, and it rebooted into recovery (even when i selected power off). Then I tried powering it off again by recovery, and it rebooted into recovery again. I took off the battery, and now it just shows the model number and it stays in a black screen.
I really don't know what I did wrong, and I am very afraid of having bricked my phone. If anyone has any comments or suggestions I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much!

There, I was able to go to Download mode, reinstall the Recovery and flash the ROM. I think I got it from here, thank you very much!
Okay backstory time....
I have the Samsung Tab 3 Lite, T110 something and I decided to root it.
I used Odin to flash CWM and root it.
Well it was a bit laggy, so I installed this rom.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2780068
It worked for awhile.
Later on, SuperSU said it needed to be updated, so I clicked update and it restarted the entire device and I got stuck on CWM-based recovery v6.0.4.8 and everytime I tried to reboot it kept going back to this recovery screen.
Well I tried flashing it again.
No dice.
Then I tried flashing ANOTHER rom from a different device (which I didn't realize at the time) and I'm still stuck.
To make matters worse my laptop doesn't detect the device, though it makes the noise like it's connected.
Well it DOES detect it, but it calls it an unspecified SAMSUNG_ANDROID.
I've tried updating drivers, turning pc off and back on, letting tablet die and plugging it in, different cables, everything.
It also says this weird thing when I try factory resetting in CWM: E: unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]
Not a darn thing works.
I'm frustrated and I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place but I'm at my wits end.
Bro try flashing stock ROM or any other custom ROM meant for your device from you device's recovery. And wipe data and dalvik cache before doing this ,and this can be done from recovery

Hello, I need serious help with my phone.
So, after a long while of having my phone rooted, and had a case of boot loop with twrp, I decided to go back to stock os and hung up the root days. I thought i did it right by getting a stock os and flashed it, and it worked for couple months, until yesterday.
My phone keeps going into Cyanogen Recovery, I tried rebooting so many times, once it did boot up to OS, but it went back after i restarted phone or it died.
Now I can't no longer get back, I thought factory resetting will work but it didn't. (Tried both wipe cache partition and Full factory reset option from the recovery) I found unroot your phone toolkits, thinking it could help fix my problem and just unroot/ give me back to OS (I wished i found this before flashing that custom stock rom).
But the toolkit doesn't work for me, it finds adb devices, but it cant find fast boot devices, because my phone cant even go into fast boot.
I tried manual, and the option from the recovery, it keeps going back to recovery. I have an option for apply update, and then apply from ADB, that was the only way for my pc to recognize my phone from adb devices. Any clues on how to fix?
Hi !

Will try, Ill respond back if anything happens!
Hmm I'm still having trouble because, I can't get into fast boot for some reason. It's keep going back to Cyanogen recovery. It has the option to reload into bootloader, but goes into cyanogen recovery again.
There is an option in dev options, uncheck the "update cyanogen recovery" and flash twrp again

Hi all! I have been trying to fix this tablet for weeks. It's an SM-T580 Galaxy Tab A 10.1 tablet. It's actually my girlfriend's tablet and she tried to root it first and she royally screwed it up and I am having a lot of trouble cleaning it up.
So, when I got to it, she already had it stuck on the downloader mode and if you tried to boot it, it went to the blue screen that says "An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the Emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software."
So here is everything I did as well as I can remember it:
1. Tried every version of smart switch and KIES software. It does not recognize it ever.
2. Tried to flash custom recovery, but FRP lock is still enabled. She must not have correctly changed the settings in the tablet before beginning the root.
3. Tried to flash stock firmware, but it says it needs to be repartitioned. I downloaded what I thought was the pit file, and repartitioned the chip, but it still won't successfully boot. I tried several different cables and ports.
4. Tried to flash probably 10 different firmwares to see if anything would stick. Used several different versions of Odin all the way from 1.3 up to 13.5. Nothing will successfully boot.
5. Found stock recovery (I believe) and got stock recovery on there but when i get to recovery it says it can't mount anything. It gets a huge list of errors like "can't mount E..." I am able to ADB sideload, but so far nothing I try to sideload works because it says it has the wrong footer and the wrong signature.
Am I boned? She left it plugged in for like a week at least, so my assumption is the emmc chip burned out. Any and all help massively appreciated!
I don't know to much about this kind of things, but I think I bricked my phone. So basically I had an old Samsung Galaxy Y Duos (GT-S6102) laying around I decided to try installing a custom ROM to it. The problem is that I think a flashed the wrong version of CWM and now the phone is stuck at the first boot screen. I'm still able to go back in recovery and when I do that, it says at the bottom that there was an error mounting /system. I tried multiple times wiping the data and the cache, but I had no luck. This is not a great problem because it was just an old phone, but it would be great if it was still fixable. Do you have any suggestions?
