Do I need unlocked bootloader to flash prerooted FTF ? - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My question is simple. Can I make a stock FTF pre-rooted myself (I know how), and flash the FTF with Flashtool on my Z3 bootloader locked?
If not, how I can?
Thanks!

No, there is no way to create prerooted.ftf file, i mean u can preeroted it (in .zip file) but then u need to flash that rom over custom recovery not over flashtool.
U dont need unlocked bootloader, only custom recovery.

Do I need to relock the bootloader to use PC Companion for latest stock?

I want to go back to stock for now Xperia J, and do I need to relock the bootloader or just use SEUS/PC Companion to flash latest stock?
Thanks in advance.
If you are on a custom rom then you need to download the stock ftf file and flash it using flashtool to get PC Companion or SEUS to work.
You don't need to unlock bootloader.
Yes you need

Sony PC companion requires locked bootloader to work bro.
Since you are already on unlocked bootloader, you can just download the ftf file you want and flash it using flashtool. Using flashtool you can flash firmwares on both locked and unlocked bootloaders
You need a locked bootloader and any stock ROM to update through PC companion.

so i dont need my flash my backup stock rom???
Relock bootloader through Flashtool, click on "BLU" and relock. After that flash the right stock .ftf file, so you'll have locked and unrooted device. Like just buy.
Sorry for English..

Just flash ftf and you're back as stock
just flash the ftf of your version, root it, then restore your TA backup, then unroot. STOCKED NOW!
Thanks for your reply. I got some questions. I have 15.3.A.1.14 but in pc companion shows that i have the older one. If i flash the ftf ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/sony-xperia-l-flashable-ftfs-locked-t2560642 ) 15.3.A.1.14 will everything be ok? Could you please tell me step by step what to do because im a little bit confused and i dont wanna do a fool mistake and destroy my device Thanks in advance.

You can flash the firmware provided that it's actually the same as the name says. Just perform a clean flash, root your device, restore TA backup and again flash. Your device will come back to the default state.
Hit thanks if it worked

[Q] Stock recovery image

Hey there,
does someone know, if there is the stock recovery image (for original firmware updates) available?
Thanks for your answers.
No there is not. Xperia devices do not have a stock recovery that you can access
But I can't update the stock firmware with custom recoveries.

Yes you can, use flashtool.net to flash a FTF
Or PCCompanion to update if you have not unlocked the bootloader.

[Q]how to flash OTA package with twrp?

i have new recovery twrp(decryption support) installed and also patched boot.img with root, now i want to flash update_data_hw_full package and an ota update.zip package, which is stock firmware. can i flash it with patched boot? or do i need to flash stock boot.img first? and will flashing this firmware with twrp work? bcz it is an OTA package
No, TWRP can't flash stock Huawei packages, you'll need the stock recovery.
You may also need stock boot.img, not sure, I don't use it.
Once i flashed those nougat files with twrp and its all working good. But thats an old ver of MM twrp..
Haven't tried the new one.
