I have install custom rom StryFlex™ LP in my xperia l. After installing this rom my wifi is not working. So i tried new rom but in that rom also wifi is not working and also hotspot tethering is not working. Please tell me a solution for this issue.

Did you came from latest official sony rom? This is required for latest modemst and so on

Use "xperia flashtool" to flash latest stockrom
A good guide:

Then after first boot you can flash a recovery and a rom... No need to unlock BL again

Use Sony PC Companion, plug your usb cable to phone, and click repair phone or something like that

ive tried but sony companion errors they cannot update/repair custom rom i think and my bootloader has been unlocked already

extract default build.prop from your ftf . make a flashable zip and flash using cwm .
then try flashing or look if its turning on.

use cwm to format your system partition and then try flashing.
well it looks like you are flashing /data not system.
and don,t format system if you formated it and flailed to flash it with flashtool you may get harder bricked device.
and or flash whole FTF file
Tried and failed again bad luck struck me pc power supply blew up is there anyway to install the ftf via a memory card on the Cwm like a recovery because I tried mounting sin.data and it said failed in Cwm

Hi I got the same error when I bricked my xperia E4.
I could not get it repaired by both the flashtool and Sony pcc in windows 10.
But the Sony service center person repaired it for me.
I think you have windows 10.
So try androxyde flashtool in windows 7 or 8.
Hi I had the same tools on win 7 professional x64 I tried it keeps failing Idk what else to do
I just got the same problem last week, i tried to install stock ROM but failed, because you can ser on your log that flashtools read your phone like "Unknown", my luck was the backup of the build.prop i did on SD, but my Recovery was Twrp, it have a File Manager, what i use to replace build.prop into /System/"here" , idk if Cwm have a file manager, the only way to fix, is replacing this edited build.prop by the original one. You need to find a way to do that.

go to fastbootmode and flash TZ4.15 boot.img ... then flash a rom with its inbuild philz

then you maybe have wrong flashtool version... try a older one...

I have cm10.. xperia J.. and i want to go back to stock firmware.. i downloaded a ftf file from here, XDA, but this error comes up and i don't know why.. i have all drivers installed.
Omg.. all i had to do was to update the flashtool.. problem solved,
OK so 1st hi guys. Here is the problem i have unlocked the bootloader and all stuff installed cm12 and i didnt lekd it so i wanted to go back to original c2105 firmware. i have a backup with cwm recovery of an image after i unlocked the bootloader(i had that bootloop stuff) (i didnt made a backup before that) and when i restore it the wi-fi cant turn on. i dont know how to fix this if u know please link me/explain.
So i though that can be that the recovery is broken or somethink so i decided to do the flashtool metod. And i tried 2 different firmawres and they cant flash (yes i have the drivers installed). Here is the log from the program:

and then the device reboots and shows up the SONY logo and nothing happens.

Flash the FTF again.
It will work..
if you read, the installation failed and was aborted due to the device getting disconnected .. so don't touch the device while flashing.
Use older version of flashtool.

Ok so that didnt worked out i used another usb cable and again nothing hapenned. I didnt touch the device or the PC. it was exactly like the old log. It stayed on device disconected for 40 minutes and nothing. I will try to find older version of flashtool and try out with it.

I forgot to NOT wiping system when installing Linuxct Z5 Style, so I tried flashing through Flashtool. I used D2306_Customized-GEL_1286-8354_18.6.A.0.182_R1C first, but I couln't flash properly. Then used the XperiaFirm option in Flashtool and downloaded D2306_18.3.1.C.1.17_1281-2430_R3B but the problem still happens. Don't know why of all of this cause I flashed billion times but now i can't. I also installed drivers (flashmode, fastboot and Xperia M drivers).
The one thing I notice is that I have low battery, is maybe that?
That won't help battery should be at least 50% before flashing anything. When going from 4.4.4 to 5.1 and From 5.1 to 4.4.4 you MUST wipe user data and cache when flashing to avoid problems.

Thanks. Either way I could solved it. Don't know how. Just restarted the pc after installing drivers and charged a bit the phone. Also updated Flashtool to last version (I did not have it that much outdated though)
