Give more info if you want someone to help you. And use Flashtool 9.18.6 not the latest.

I have cm10.. xperia J.. and i want to go back to stock firmware.. i downloaded a ftf file from here, XDA, but this error comes up and i don't know why.. i have all drivers installed.

Omg.. all i had to do was to update the flashtool.. problem solved,

cant back the stock firmware

OK so 1st hi guys. Here is the problem i have unlocked the bootloader and all stuff installed cm12 and i didnt lekd it so i wanted to go back to original c2105 firmware. i have a backup with cwm recovery of an image after i unlocked the bootloader(i had that bootloop stuff) (i didnt made a backup before that) and when i restore it the wi-fi cant turn on. i dont know how to fix this if u know please link me/explain.
So i though that can be that the recovery is broken or somethink so i decided to do the flashtool metod. And i tried 2 different firmawres and they cant flash (yes i have the drivers installed). Here is the log from the program:

and then the device reboots and shows up the SONY logo and nothing happens.
Can you please help me out thank you. Sorry if there is a thread like that before i searched and didnt find one.

Use another USB cable.
Flash the FTF again.
It will work..
if you read, the installation failed and was aborted due to the device getting disconnected .. so don't touch the device while flashing.

Use older version of flashtool.

Ok so that didnt worked out i used another usb cable and again nothing hapenned. I didnt touch the device or the PC. it was exactly like the old log. It stayed on device disconected for 40 minutes and nothing. I will try to find older version of flashtool and try out with it.

Thank you man! That worked out i used flashtool version 0.9.11.0 insted of 0.9.19.8 and it worked out! I dont know why the new versions are so buggy ! Thank everyone that saw my post u guys are awesome! :good:

You just saved me bigtime man! Like an idiot, I decided to update Flashtool and it would fail after flashing TA partition With

Landed here, reverted to 0.9.11.0 and it is now flashing! Tysm!

Xperia c bootloader unlock when soft bricked

Hi, to start with my problem is that my device gone into bootloop after superuser install(i did not flased it with custom rom or anything). I've tried wiping user data and partition from android recovery but did not helped me. also tried with sony pc companion and wnshua also but both failed to flash my device. The device still in bootloop with sony logo
after searching on xda came across fastboot mode and bootloader unlock by which i can install my original kernel and then try to flash it with the default rom so i need help for how to access fastboot mode and how to unlock bootloader when the device is bricked.
tried by using flashtool but throws error

Problem in flashing 401SO Xperia Z3

Dear Experts,
I have 2 Japan ver Xperia Z3 which one is SOL26 (KDDI) and the other is 401SO (Softbank). I tried to unlock both Z3 by using windows 7 & flashtool ver 0.9.19.10 and got no problem for the SOL26 ver., but not for the 401SO.
I have tried to follow several blogs about unlocking Z3, but still can't make it. Every time I tried then the following error will always appear

flashtool partition.sin failed

Hello
yesterday i was searching for .53 ftf for f8332 but i didnt found it so i decided to use the single sim version and convert it to dual sim using this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...-enabler-xperia-xz-f8332-28-feb-2017-t3562747
when i flashed the f8331 ftf on my f8332 the flashtool gave me an error "proccseing partition.sin finished with errors" and my phone cant get past the sony logo screen (i could accses twrp tho) so i donloaded the f8332 firmware .35(the old ftf) and tried to recover my phone by flashing the correct old ftf but i got the same error and my phone cant get past sony logo (i can accses flashmod and fastboot and twrp but i cant flash anything!)

after restoring my ta backup from twrp i got a new message on the phone when boot it "your device failed verfication and will not work probley" and when i tried flashing the correct ftf again i got a new error
