Its simple a copy paste job. Look for the TWRP folder in root of storage
TWRP\BACKUPS\TA933028J2\2015-09-21--01-09-17_bliss_falcon-userdebug_5.1.1_LVY48F_ddf5301
Also, Did you check developers options to connect the device
If your device is Connected correctly to PC, you will get all the folders, simply copy it and paste it on PC
Thnx

It doesnt work for me.
I have a rooted Moto G but
Running 'adb root' gives me the same 'adbd cannot run as root in production builds' error. So i cannot reach the folder with a root explorer

run adb shell first and then while you're in the shell run su, which will switch the shell to run as root!
$: adb shell
$: su

HTC Navigation.apk

anyone have this please id like to have it ...... and how do i remove the other nav please ( like to save it incase i dont like the HTC NAV )
I don't have the .apk for HTC Navigation, but when/if you do get it, just to to system/app and rename your current nav application (i.e. navigation.apk.old) if you don't want it to show up in your app list, but don't want to uninstall.

hmm, could you kindly explain what "pushing" is, and how to do it?
my android pushing and pulling files.
for those of you new to android and adb.
ok here is the real answer
pulled directly from android developer tools.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Copying Files to or from an Emulator/Device Instance
You can use the adb commands pull and push to copy files to and from an emulator/device instance's data file. Unlike the install command, which only copies an .apk file to a specific location, the pull and push commands let you copy arbitrary directories and files to any location in an emulator/device instance.
To copy a file or directory (recursively) from the emulator or device, use
adb pull <remote> <local>To copy a file or directory (recursively) to the emulator or device, use
adb push <local> <remote>In the commands, <local> and <remote> refer to the paths to the target files/directory on your development machine (local) and on the emulator/device instance (remote).
Here's an example:
adb push foo.txt /sdcard/foo.txt
How to push the file via your sd card
So for an example on pushing a file from a computer to phone make sure you are in recovery mode. And assuming you have the apk somewhere on your sd card. Open command prompt and navigate to your sdk-tools to use adb. THIS EXAMPLE IS STRAIGHT FROM FRESH THATS WHY I SAYS ..../FRESH-REMOVED-APKS/. That is just the location on your sd card so this is where you need to type where the file is. WHATEVERAPP.apk thats what the apk name is. Make sure that it is the same spelling and spacing/no spacing as well. notice the space after .apk as well. Now you are ready simply type the following commands (enter at the end of each line.) Last line is simply where your file is on your sdcard then the file name as it appears in the file on your sd card. Hope this helps!
adb shell mount /sdcard
adb shell mount /system
adb shell
cp /sdcard/fresh-removed-apks/WHATEVERAPP.apk /system/app

1) If you have ADB setup on your computer, hook your phone into the computer and connect into it via ADB.
2) Once in, "chmod" the directory or file(s) you wish to change permissions for.
IF you don't have ADB:
1) Download a terminal
2) su - to root
3) Change your directory
4) "chmod" to whatever pemissions you want
it means that folder/file you're chmod'ing was mounted ro. you cant change anything if its mounted as ro. to check just enter "mount" and you can see what are mounted as rw, ro etc
yantz
I would also suggest changing it back when you're done. This helps prevent you from accidently overwriting or deleting something and have to reflash if you're rooted.

[Q] cant copy big files (via USB-MTP, ADB)

hey!
I try to backup my backup. So I want to copy my nandroid-files from internal-SD to my computer. everything is working fine, but the two big files from data (810MB) and system (1200MB) cant be copied. If I try it with normal USB-MTP windows just ignores my copy-attempt. With adb pull I get an error:
adb pull sdcard/TWRP TWRP
results in copying everything instead of system and data: "failed to copy FROM to DEST: Permission denied"
any ideas?
I'm using JMZ-kernel, dev-unlock, root.
forgot to say: Also no access via Airdroid and ES Explorer/Root Explorer. I tried to copy those files somewhere on the SD-card, also tried to put them in a zip file.
The backup is in a special folder with protection, so you need to set the correct rights to copy the files, I think.
You may use these commands in Adb console:
adb shell
su
chmod -R 777 data/media/0/TWRP/
exit
After this it is possible to copy the files
Sent from my HTC One mini using xda app-developers app
THANKS!!!

[Q] Create a .img file of the system partition

I bought a Moto G(XT1031) last week. I rooted it, and before removing any system apps, created a backup in TWRP of the system and boot partitions.
Now, I have the 8GB model(couldn't find a 16GB one cheap enough) and so I would like to create a .img of the system and boot partitions. I still have the TWRP backup, however I want to remove it from my phone as it's eating up almost a GB of precious space.
I've seen some assorted stuff on how to pull .img files from the phone, but I' m not sure which ones will work with mine. Any help would be appreciated!
You could use: adb pull /sdcard/TWRP c:/MotoG_Backup/TWRP
Now you can delete that folder from phone.
Then if you want to restore TWRP Backup: adb push c:/MotoG_Backup/TWRP /sdcard/TWRP/
Alternatively:
ADB Dumping Methods: *ROOT REQUIRED*
You need to grant the SuperSU permission popup that will appear on your phone.
System:
adb shell su -c "dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/system of=/sdcard/system.img"
adb pull /sdcard/system.img

Why, thank you sir! I was unaware that you can push files to your device while in the recovery! That is why I wanted a system image file.
Thanks again!

Place to execute files via adb

Usually the SDCard is mounted as noexec, hence it is not possible to execute files there.
But with the adb user I can not go into a folder which is on a device mounted as exec and has write access.
As a workaround I can use Android Studio to debug an app and put the files into it's data folder.
But is there another way from adb directly?
