My galaxy s5 had a call rejection feature where I can reject "all" incoming calls as well as those on a list I create. Also when a call is rejected I can still see the missed call afterwards. I love the s5 call rejection feature. After upgrading to the note 5 I don't see this feature. There is no option to reject all incoming calls. I not only want to block ALL incoming calls but see who tried to call me. My questions are:
1. Is there any way the note 5 can do this?
2. Are there any custom roms that can do this?
3. Are there any apps that can do this?

Call Reject feature on note 5 running android 7
Any fix for this? Feature is not available on Nougat with the note 5 and I can no longer block all incoming calls as I did with my note 4.
Would appreciate any guidance.
I can still reject calls after Nougat. Also in phone settings I can insert a list with blocked numbers.
In 'do not disturb' settings you can make custom list of exceptions. So with 'do not disturb' activated, all calls are rejected except the ones you want.
What is the issue?

in PhoneAlarm you can specify some custom vibration patterns for all alarms, calls, email, sms, etc.
Is that really true? I did a testdrive with phoneAlarm (which kindly ****ed up all my alarm and ringtone settings) but could not find anything that let me edit any vibration patterns. Did I end up in stupidity?
Are there any ways to edit SMS pattern by now? Thanks for answering in advance?

I tried phone alarm n it drained my battery much quicker than is spose to. idk maybe i did something wrong.
But, were you able to change the SMS vibration to a custom pattern? I haven't found such an option in the program I fear...
that is so true, i downloaded it yesterday n it didn't change the vibrating pattern. however, did u use the pro or lite version?
I tried the pro version. Trial version of pro. The changelog says that it is capable of changing vibration patterns for each alarm, but there was no such option anywhere. I looked through it twice at least. Strange then. Is there no other way for changing the vibration for SMS and e-mail?

+1 Xperia has such a sucky vibration pattern (haha, I just called it pattern!), it just vibrates forcefully one time so hard that the device hums very loudly. I'd like to have the normal three short vibrations.
The same with the Touch Pro. People keep asking me why I have my razor with me. Three short vibrations would be a dream of a vibration!

It would be magnificent if there was an app that could answer your phone calls. Let me explain by giving you a short example. Would it not be something if you could record a brief message before you head into your shower knowing your friend, mom, dad, whoever it might be, is going to call you? Then your phone would automatically answer your call and play the message for them. It would be very useful if you just needed to tell them something that would take a minute, but they were busy at the moment and it was too complicated to send it through text/email. Let us say that you are driving and somebody calls you. What then? If you answer you run the risk of an accident, but if you had the app, then you could put it in driving mode before you start driving. When this option is implemented, the previously recorded message for driving mode would play and repeat it to anyone driving. This amazing app that would keep us safe and be very useful at times would be called, Ansmart!

To be more helpful, did you know you can also just ignore the phone call while driving or taking a shower?
Did you know you can also turn the volume off when you don't want to be disturbed?
In all seriousness, you can set up voice mail or a Google voice number, and then set your phone to forward call to that number with and automated response that you are busy.
You can also go under settings. Call settings.all calls. Reject call with message or auto forwarding.
No app needed....neat huh?
I use Google Voice for most of this functionality. You can set up custom messages pretty easily for certain people, groups, etc. And as qkster said, just don't answer the phone while you're driving, taking a shower, on the throne, etc.. People will understand, and most likely appreciate it.
In addition to being able to set up custom messages for groups, etc. on GV, there are other benefits. Free SMS is one that I use quite a bit. Also, one Google Voice number can be set to ring multiple phones. This is handy for me, since I have a very weak cell signal at home. Since my Google Voice number is set to ring both my home phone and my cell, I have a Tasker profile set to turn my cell antenna off and WiFi on when my home WiFi network is near. Since GV rings my home phone, I don't miss any calls. GrooveIP is also a good program to use with Google Voice, as it lets you make calls over WiFi using your Google Voice number.

Ok OP...if you created the app you're describing, then you can post in this section but since you haven't I'm going to close this thread.

If you are looking for a strong, FREE, lightweight and easy application for an unwanted call blocking and message spam filter, this application best fits you.
You can both blocks calls and SMS or only calls or only SMS, whatever you want. And you can also set a blocking schedule for an individual contact if you just want to block this contact for a specific time.
You can either block any number from mobile contact, calls log, messages log or add unwanted number manually.
Unwanted number in blacklist is blocked silently without bothering you. But don’t worry, all blocked calls and SMS is save in a log; so you can never to worry about losing any helpful calls and SMS.

income whatsapp calls are not being recived by s3 frontier via bluetooth...

I'm using my Note 8 in silent mode because it cannot ring only in BT headsets, as some guys told me, it is the right logic of Samsung engineers , anyway, I'm detecting incoming calls with Frontier ring and vibration, and I'm able to speak via BT headset both ways GSM and Whatsapp.
But the pain is I'm detecting Whatsapp incoming messages with Frontier vibrate (see screenshot), but when I have the Whatsapp incoming call, nothing indicates on my Frontier. So I'm always missing the Whatsapp incomes if I have no my Note 8 in sight. Any thoughts?

I've had this issue where iPhone users are not receiving my text messages. More specifically, they are not receiving sms that i sent through my Google messages. If i send an MMS message ( either with a picture or by adding a subject line) then they will receive it. I can receive and view their messages but they can't see my sms messages.
I have the unlocked variant of the s22 Ultra with a T-Mobile US sim card. I feel like I'm the only one with this issue.
Things i have tried:
-Reset all network settings
-changing "Access Point Name" settings
-Turned off Google messages chat feature
+Worked with an iPhone user to to change

I originally had the chat feature on (because i thought this was the problem) but since trying to troubleshoot, I've turned it off.

Problem seemed to start on my s21 ultra ( that i noticed) then jumped into the pixel 6 pro, it still happened there. Now i have the s22 Ultra.
I never had an iPhone to be able to delete anything from imessage. So that's kind of odd for me.
Was on chat for 2 hours with my carrier (T-Mobile) and they said it was an iPhone issue. That the fix would need to be on all of the individual iPhones that I'm having issues with. I guess i won't be contacting those people anymore.
