I'm looking for a launcher that can adjust icon size and text size for both the icons on the home screen as well as the icons in the app drawer. Also needs to be able to adjust number of columns and rows.
Best I've found so far is ADW Launcher EX - allows one to adjust icon text size and icon size for the home screen icons, but the icons become blurry when enlarging, so rather pointless.
Or is there an easy way of doing this manually?
Or you could use an application to change the LCD density. Search on market for LCD Density. You should find plenty.
Hi,
I bought a Huawei Y6 for my dad. Since his eyes are not so good I set the font size in the display settings to Large. With my Moto G this scales the font almost everywhere. However in Emui 3.1 only some of the fonts are scaled up. For example the small fonts in the settings still stay the same (small) size. Also, the notification font is really small. Is there any workaround for this without rooting the device?
Thanks
Tobias
Look for additional font size settings if there aren't any more then root is the only possibility
Hello. Just received an update to touchwiz and all my home settings have disappeared.
I had everything on minimal size and used the developer option to set dpi to 480.
Now I have more rows and columns than before with no option to define the grid and text zooms according to screen zoom.
Is there any way to find the old menus to fix this?

Click to collapse
Unfortunately, there's no solution other than downgrade to the previous version.
It's annoying because it broke all DPI scalling...
Set the DPI back to 411, then go and set font and screen zoom again to the desired one and in the developer options you can go up to 455 now. Bigger icons than before, but better than the original huge home screen. I don't understand Samsung why it was messed up.
Hi, I bought a P30 the one that came with Android 9 and EMUI 9. I updated it to Android and EMUI 10, but notice a change in the font size. The smaller font in EMUI 10 is bigger than the minimal font in EMUI 9. Another problem is that the settings menu also got bigger, with separate and bigger icons and sections. To reduce the size, increase the dpi of the screen, solving the problem, but obtaining glitches in the home folders.
This is the difference, on EMUI 10 display less objects on display.

How can I reduce the size of the settings menu ?, the icons, or the separation between sections ?.
Thank you!
I want to change the app icon size so that they will be as tall as the widgets on the main screen (like FM radio or bluetooth). I know you can do this with widgets like the clock. Is this possible? If so, how can this be done?
