[Q] Any suggestions to make my Tipo more JB- like?

Alright so I transformed my Tipo into Jellybean-like phone, I'm using nova launcher prime and jellybean statusbar mod from your website.
If you have any suggestions to make my phone more jellybean-like, post here

Because I cant unlock bootloader, it says NO

Hmm..you are pretty much on the brink of the theming tht you can do to give your phone more of a jb feel.
Try and do some more research on unlocking the bootloader.If you got your phone rooted, i will assume that the problem isnt the lack of adb drivers.Did you follow the detailed steps on sony's website or just the tool available here to unlock your bootloader.?

When I wrote *#*#7378423#*#* in my phone dialer, i went to Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status > Boot loader unlock allowed: NO

Not possible. Testpoint also requires unlockable bootloader

Need baseband for my ROM

Guys...I recently shared my Xboost Rom
And many Xperia E dual users have flashed it and are 100% satisfied..but for single SIM users,baseband bug is there..since I don't own a single SIM,and has the slowest 2g on the planet,I need help from Xperia e single SIM users to create a flashable baseband of ics firmware for Xperia E single..
Flashing baseband of dual won't work..so please..help me if u can

problem is, there is no ICS for the single sim versions of Xperia E, they came out with jelly bean already.. and by the way, im sadly not using your rom because my bootloader is locked, i am however using 11.1.A.0.68 (the c1605 FTF) on Single sim Xperia E (c1505) and never had any network issues so far (using it since a month or so)
are you sure the problem comes from the baseband?
if its any help, i can extract the baseband files from the stock jelly bean FTF's and upload for you

Well I don't know buddy...
I too lost the network when I directly switched to my Rom..so I created baseband .ftf and flashed it...it worked got me and I got network..but single SIM users are not getting it..but now you are saying that the ics is working fine for your single SIM..well that's one piece of useful info...

If all else fails, why not modify the ROM and upload a SS only version?

yes, problem would be to figure out what causes it i guess.. im still running the dual stock ICS on single sim Xperia E (1505) and no issues with network... could it be maybe cause of the custom recovery with CWM?

as you can see, i got network, no issues whatsoever.. :/
ps: the "Model Number c1605" is only because i didn't bother to edit the build.prop file, this IS the c1505 model

I too had network error when I directly switched to this Rom from jellybean..I mean without flashing ics
So I created the baseband.ftf and flashed it..it works like a charm for dual users..but single users say that it doesn't...little weird but there is no difference between the 4 devices

Except the 04 version is quad band..even if that is the issue C1605 users have no prob..so I dunno what's going on..and as I already said,without the help of a ss user,I can't help you..

Problem solved..
It was due to direct switching between the roms..if ics ftf is flashed before installing,everything works fine..even in single SIM..

[Camera App] Background Defocus - no root needed!

Hello guys!
I modified the deodexed Background Defocus app to make it installable on phones that aren't rooted.
Enjoy!
You might get an occasional UI bug but that's not fixable for now. App should still work fine and I've only encountered it once so far.
Just download and install like any APK:

You need to focus on something pretty close to the cam. About 10cm to 20cm. Much more and it gets bad or doesn't work at all.

Sounds like you still have a part of the root-only version installed, no?
I never had any issues, don't have root.

Same install failed error while installing it like normal apk, any solution ?
Am on .290 4.3 firmware
[UPDATE] did a reboot cleared cache and then it worked.

It is currently rolling out to carriers in France, Ireland, Israel, Russia, Singapore and Thailand. So You should Consider the french or the irish version! I've downloaded the French one using XperiFirm Downloader and flashed it with FlashTool!

Ya, it was my first option, but did not work. I've tried almost all options available for Xperias, but without sucess. Framaroot, z4root, Vroot, not work, and my device have LB, and I don't planning unlock it, and i don't found the correct kernel 4.4.2 to flash, even if i unlock the bootloader. If anyone have a tip, a way to do that, i appreciate that. Thanks.:good:

About the live wallpaper?
I just installed the new firmware on my xperia M2 D2303 using flashtool... you can indeed move apps and all of that, but no sign of the live wallpaper and lockscreen like the previous updates.
I don't know about the E1, if it got this feature, but so far i can't find it on our xperia M2.
If anyone knows about this please let me know

Well I've got Z5 Single sim and I am using FW with branding from CZ T-Mobile which i think is only for SS you can try to install worldwide rom there should be all languages aswell.
