Hello,
So I looked a bit on the forum but couldn't really find what I'm looking for, I would like to know if it's possible with my smartphone connected to a computer to catch what the keyboard is typing.
Thanks you

Hi everyone.
I have my new Touch Pro and i saw it have a "full" TouchPad under the Screen.
My question is, might it be possible to display a Mouse-courser and control it with this TouchPad?
I dont know if this is usefull.
Badly i never coded for Windows Mobile, so is someone thinking this would be a nice application and want to code something like this?
Maybe if i get this damn Microsoft Visual Express Edition running, i will try something myself.

It's a good idea, the touchpad is even multi-touch capable...
hate it on i900...
could be more interesting on touch pro/diamond, since the surface is larger
Hi everyone Im using remote touch for this. take a look at that freeware on this site here. as it is a beta there is no further guide on how to use this tool. anyway figure it out for yourself. it works for me, not always but it does most of the time.
have fun
hm.
maybe you did not understand me or i dont know if remote touch can control a mouse on your PocketPC and not on your Desktop PC.
best look at the movie in my first post to get a impression how i was thinking for a use of this touchPad.
Yes, like Samsung-i900 (Omnia). It's possible?
i think it is possible (but i am really new in WinCE developing).
I have finaly succesfully installed an IDE on my Work-PC.
And i think i also found somethink to move the "mouse".
Now i only need to install the IDE on my Home PC, loading DLLs into the program and i need to look into the SDK for the TouchPad. (Badly i have read that it has only one event that reads the rotations? this would be bad.)
Of course it would be faster if someone that is a lot more experienced in WinCE developing would try it.
Hello, I was the first one to come up with this idea. Check it out here:

Is it possible to make the area around the Dpad as touch buttons (touching the up button = pressing the up button, etc)? Since the Dpad is hard to press, it makes some games kinda unplayable...
Hi all,
The other day, while playing PS3, I realised I was too lazy to type messages using the PS3 controller to people. I wondered, not having a bluetooth keyboard or mouse, if there was any easier way of input to write messages. I took a look at my Nike, and came up with an idea.
Would it be possible to use the Nike, or in fact any HTC device, or Windows Mobile device with bluetooth as a bluetooth keyboard?
I figured it would be possible, and looked around for some kind of software, but I have not managed to find any.
Is there any developers on here who could perhaps point me in the right direction to maybe writing some bluetooth software (if, of course, this idea is possible). I'm no beginner to programming, so I'm not asking for help with that. I'm simply wondering where to start? My preferred language is C#.
Thanks,
Ben
Hello,
Is there a way to turn these mobile devices into a bluetooth keyboard/mouse?
I am aware of the gremote porject at http://gbmsoftware.com/ but am looking for a more generic way to turn the mobile device into a remote keyboard and mouse.
A generic solution would be ideal because it could be used with any system (not just PCs) including PS3s, PCs, Macs, Linux, etc.
If something like this doesn't exist, what would be involved in creating it? Would one have to write a bluetooth driver?
I am a developer but have never written a driver or written anything related to bluetooth. If someone can point me in the right direction I may be able to write this thing myself.
Ever any luck with this?
My Frenemy has found an app that does this with WIFI - but your point about universality strikes me as important. Not having to install a server app allows this to work on any platform. I wonder why no answers or other posts.
The EVO 4G would make a SICK remote bluetooth keyboard and mouse...
Thanks...
Frank

No,
Nobody really got back to me and I've since moved on to WebOS. I still think it would be great little tool!

This will do it.
Wondering the same thing
Hi i have been looking everywhere. I am also wondering the same thing (mainly to connect to my ps3. Could you possibly repost that link? it seems to not be working. thank you!
Do you think we could make applications for our keyboard phones (WM or Android) that will allow them to sync to the PC over bluetooth and use the phone as a keyboard?
why?
One of my laptops is Windows 7 and the handwriting recognition is great. Surely I would just use a bluetooh/USB keyboard if my "slate" didn't have a keyboard.
On a side note, Slate/Pads.... is there even a market? Have they answered a question nobody asked?
NueUSBKeyboard does this via usb. I've attached the latest version.
Run the exe on your device and follow the onscreen prompts and then run it from the start menu while plugged into any pc.

I don't think there is a market for them. They'd end up costing somewhere between a phone you carry everywhere with you and a Tablet PC (the convertible kind) that works as a laptop and is more high-end.
BUT, regardless of this, I'd love to be able to use my (currently a Fuze) as a portable keyboard for numerous devices. Like the HTPC I am building, or a slate PC I might carry with me one day.
(ON a side note - I am extremely worried for the next phone I got. I tried the Droid, the keyboard is a joke. I tried to sequel to the Touch Pro, and that keyboard is decent, but a little awkward with the placement of the backspace.
My Touch Pro, the original, now that is an amazing portable keyboard. I've come to depend on it. Will I be able to adjust to a new phone if the keyboard is not as good?!? Do you guys have any experience in this?)
recently i follow the new lg optimus 2x that have a interesting function for me: this smartphone allow to connect it to the pc by cable usb or bluetooth, and later is possible work with my smartphone with pc keyboard, mouse and monitor..
this function is really fantastic for me because i think that is a good "bridge" between the hight potability of smartphone with a good experience of on tablet.
but at this moment, i will search some software that make the same function, or similar, on my galaxy s smartphone, always in android os.
can you help me you think that is possible found the apk application pf lg? or other software that work in the similar mode?
i'm waiting you reply.. thanks in advance guys!
