Bluetooth Remote for phone calls (mic), music control - General Questions and Answers

Hi there,
I'm trying to find a bluetooth remote that sticks to my steering wheel and:
Has a microphone for phone calls
Connects via bluetooth and fits to my steering wheel (to use with the right hand while driving)
Let's me: Accept calls, control volume and music (next/prev)
Is there anything like this? The closest I found is the Parrot MKI9000 - but I'm not sure if it needs wiring or not.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions,
Christoph

anyone got an idea?

BT Headset - receive Igo instructions and A2DP for wmplayer?

Hey All
i am currently looking to get one of these however, before I do I would like to know if anyone can answer any/all of both questions below:
1 - Will the buttons on the device above control the normal Windows Media Player via A2DP?
2 - Will Igo on the phone be able to talk to the bluetooth headset whilst music is playing (from WMPlayer)?
Ideal situation....
riding along listening to some low(ish) volume music and still receive loud direction instructions from the phone. The ability to receive calls whilst doing all this is an option nice bonus.
Thanks in advance!!!!

HELP!!! Bluetooth and radio.

I am the happy owner of a HTC Topaz.
I ride a motorbike, and have recently bought a bluetooth crash helmet with built in speakers / mic which works a treat for answering and making calls and also for listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the built in radio via bluetooth. Because HTC requires the plug-in headset to act as an antena the radio doesnt work without it.
However when I plug in the headset, i get instant radio reception but then the sound is routed to the plug-in headset , rather thean the bluetooth speakers.
My logic tells me that there must be some way to use the plug in headset as ONLY an antena allowing the sound to be routed by deafault to the bluetooth headset. Surely this is software driven?
I am not a software Guru, but keen to learn and frustreted that there doesnt seem to be a yet obvious solution to this problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

Wired audio remote control

Hi Guys,
I've been googling for a while without avail.
I'm looking for a wired remote control for my motorcycle.
Let me elaborate.
I want the same function as the inline remote control, i.e. play/pause, FWD REV from 3 buttons on my handle bar.
The wire would be routed to the phone in my jacket pocket, while the audio signal should go to my intercom.
I know I could just buy a second headset or an iphone extension with remote and slice that up, but that would leave me with non weather proof and glove-unfriendly buttons.
Does anybody know of a more suited alternative ?
Or alternatively does anybody know what signals are used to control the audio ?
Thanks in advance

Or you could buy a nice new helmet with bluetooth in it (e.g. Nolan N102 + the bluetooth module). Not a cheap solution though.
I've tried this one: http://www.i-luv.com/product_detail.asp?idx=1387
and this one: http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/smarttalk
They both work fine but the volume control side of things is incompatible with the N1, no company is going to make something like this that adheres to actual standards in lieu of Apple's "standards" unfortunately. Play/pause and next/prev works fine, as does the inline microphone.

Car music help (BT controls)

Hi, peeps, please help an audiophile out!
basic question - can I use my BT handsfree device (buttons) to control tracks only but keep the audio via aux cable?
The problem that I'm facing is because of:
- Parrot handsfree device quality s*cks when streaming music BT
- Neutron player track skipping buttons on the lock screen are so small that I will have an accident one day!
So, in conclusion, I want to use aux connection for better audio quality, but I would like to be able to skip tracks via my Parrot buttons.
If answer is NO, and no workaround exists, I think I will have to go with decent "car home app" and some basic phone holder... :|

Use car A2DP to skip AUX/WIFI music?

I'm trying to figure out a way to use my car's build in steering wheel controls to change songs when not streaming audio (but still connected) on bluetooth. Basically I need to have the bluetooth controls work even when audio output is not done via bluetooth. Seems simple enough but I can't figure out how to make it work :S
bump!
