Holster that will fit Nexus one with case on?

I am looking for a good holster that will hold the Nexus One while it has a case on. I have a transparent TPU case (have to show off the sexy engraving on the back). Does anyone have a recommended case that can hold or adjust to the nexus one while it has the added bulk of a case on it?
I am looking for something like the Seidio Innocase Case Holster which is here on Amazon.
If you check out down in the review area there is a video and a guy reviewed it and it seems to fit the Innocase inside the holster pretty well. Didn't look like it would fall out.
Anyone have any experience or suggestions with this? Let me know. Thanks.

IMO holsters = dropped phone... Either the phone pops out on its own, or gets bumped...

My thing is that I've had the dust under the screen problem so I wanted to get it out of my pocket. It does raise the risk of a drop though, this is true. Who wants to drop a $530 phone.

Oh, I use horizontal cases, have for years. Never dropped a phone from one, just of course you gotta be mindful when you're putting it in, taking it out.. And personally I always get them with a belt clip (to keep it in place on my belt) and belt loops. One case I had didn't have belt loops and I was always finding the phone in my car seat where it pushed off my belt.

Only time I ever pocket carry a phone is when I have a new phone and I'm transitioning between the two, or sometimes on the weekend when I'm just lazing around the house.

I use a nite ize heavy duty holster. Size medium. It fits my otterbox defender and casemate tough case NP.

I use a cellet bergamo iPhone belt clip / holster nice and snug on my innocase 2

i have it. and its very good. case itself is rubberized. with my extreme use holster broke few weeks ago (used it since it came out), Seidio shipped me a new one since their warranty is very long.

i don't know man i buy this moko case every year expecting the worst and it always manages to impress me. pretty damn good case. also works great with the skintomi tempered glass screen protector. as an added bonus, the cutout for the fingerprint sensor is very large. doesn't interfere at all

That is what I ordered. It should arrive tomorrow. I'm a fan of the TGSP/Skin combo so a universal case like this is my preference. I find those combo cases too bulky for my small hands.

I am a long time Otterbox Defender user, but am considering the LK and MOKO cases you listed. I also am really interested in the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro. There is this I-Blason Prime Series as well. Also Seidio say they are working a case, but have not said what model.
I ordered this Story Leather Belt Clip Holster when I need something stylish and use the phone bare or with a simple skin. Now if it would only get here after 2 shipping delays.

the i-blason is just about identical to the moko, but the one for the nexus 6 last year used a plastic that i found to be VERY slippery in my hand. i tried it for about 2 weeks and didn't like the feel at all. the supcase is interesting, but i don't need an integrated screen protector. would rather use a nice tempered glass solution
one addendum to the moko (and i-blason) that i forgot to mention earlier...it still has this design issue where it's made for left-handed people. the phone attaches to the belt clip in the opposite way that a right handed person would use it. it's definitely not a show stopper, but it's annoying. i'll use it for the next couple of weeks and report back, but aside from this it's quite solid so far

I really like the Supcase but too bad it has a built in screen protector. Hate those things.

I got this one for now, emergency purchase. It is terrible. REALLY bad. The kickstand isn't bad, but only 2 corners are protected by hard material. Hard to get in and out, and worse, as far as I can see you can't push the volume buttons because it is flush with the hard plastic they made the holes in.

And double wow, just saw the Moko one in the colors and the volume issue doesn't exist. And a snap in holster? Purchased. This should get me through for now. I'm returning this other one I linked.

Technically it rotates so it can be used vertically or horizontally. Though using it horizontally might be a bit annoying. Horizontal ones are my preference but since this is a big phone a vertical one would be less awkward and feel better for me. I got the case in today. I'll let you know when my phone comes.

after a couple of days with the moko case its...ok. it is 100% absolutely designed for left-handed people, which is annoying. also, it takes quite a concerted effort to both unclip and clip the phone into the case. most of it i'm sure is due to being right-handed, but it's also a function of the fact that the part you insert into the holster first has a pretty tight fit. also, the really soft rubber has quite a bit of give when inserting and removing which is also annoying. feels like they could have used some less compliant rubber here. idk it's ok for now i guess.
i've ordered various normal cases (spigen, ringle, diztronic) as well as the seidio iphone 6 plus holster (new version) to see how it works based on the reddit post. that guy never responded, but from his pics and from looking at the specs of the various items i *think* these cases would fit in the holster fine. my only concern is the part where the spring clip touches the phone. it's going to be very close as to whether it rests on part of the case or on the glass of the phone itself (which would be a no-go for me). we'll see...

Would you happen to have come across what the difference(s) are between the 2 generations of the iPh6+ Surface holsters?
I'm still waiting to hear back from them.
Contemplating getting the first gen holster to use with Ringke, then eventually the Crash Guard or Play Proof.

Ringke Fusion + iPh6+ Surface v1 holster = no go... at least not that well. The phone is too tall (flipped both ways). The latch is propped open about half way.
Going to test out my buddy's N6 Surface holster in a few days. Failing that, might have to just go with the full 6P Surface solution if they ever come out with it...

that's pretty shocking. isn't the ringle a pretty minimalist case? i don't have much experience with ringle but i would imagine it can't be much taller than the seidio surface case. the nexus 6p is nearly identical to the iphone 6s plus, there's like a 1mm difference in height. hard to imagine this would cause what you're describing. unless...maybe that's what the seidio revision from v1 to v2 was about? to allow for additional height for some reason?

Upon closer inspection, there are 2 "feet" on the bottom/back side of the case, about 1mm thick. This is causing the phone to not hit flush bottom of the holster. About 3-4mm gap from bottom of phone to bottom of holster.
Even if it were to sit flush bottom, it's still 2-3mm too tall.
Width-wise it's a nice fit.

Mine isn't here yet but I have that same case on my lg g3. That is hard stiff rubber and plastic parts. No give.

I have the Seidio N6 Surface holster. I used it with my N6 and the Supcase hybrid for the last year. I tried it with my 6P, and same thing that the 6P is too tall. the hinged latched it also propped open (N6P with the Ringke Fusion and the Supcase Hybrid)

Otterbox?

Has anyone heard any news of Otterbox making a case for the 6P? I've emailed them but no response.

Usually when otterbox makes a case, they have it ready for the phone launch. I'd look at other rugged options.

Already have the Moko with the kickstand, I've just never had any issues with the Otterboxes I've had on the previous 3 phones is all. Hard to settle for anything less.

The closest alternative I've seen available is the SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Pro, though the the 6P model was getting mixed reviews on Amazon.

Most people are being stupid and marking it down for the screen protector even though you can pretty easily remove it and slap on a TGSP

Looking for stand alone holster suggestions.

There's a few times in the past where I have used different cases that I really liked with a holster since there was not a matching holster with the case.
Looks like I'm going to run in the same situation here and was wondering if anybody had a good line of holster vertical or horizontal that they would recommend.
I'd prefer something with a rotating belt clip on it.

Thanks, I've sworn off of Seidio though. Cheap holsters that the clips break off of all the time, horrible customer service, and other issues I've had with them. I've found some excellent cases for the 6P, just need a holster to put it in. The TUDIA OMNIX is the one I'm trying to find a holster to fit right now.

Not sure on the quality, but I do highly recommend Seidio products though.

That looks very interesting. I did buy the Seidio one similar to that one for my Nexus 6P though . I bought the one for the iPhone 6 Plus. The fit wasn't perfect but very close. I stopped using it after my phone popped out once. The clip also cracked the top of my IntelliArmor TGSP.

That's interesting. I've been using the Seidio surface holster made for the iCrap 6+ with the Nillkin Nature case without any issues or the device popping out. The clip is flat on top of the device and not at an angle suggesting the device is too tall for the holster.

I'd never use Seidio products again. Terrible customer service/support, and the clips for the holsters break like candy.
I believe this Encased one is only for naked phones though.

This is great! i was looking for one of these when i got my phone when it launched. Gave up on looking for one after a couple weeks though. Just placed an order for this one. Thanks!!!

I broke the holster to my case when it got caught on a chair and broke the left side support. The holster is the type where the phone slides in vertically bottom to top. I don't like the type where the phone snaps into the holster or leather pouches.
Does anyone know if you can buy the holster ONLY - NO CASE for the nexus 6p?
I need a holster cover with swivel clip. I don’t care if it is made by same manufacturer as my current generic soft lining and hard plastic shell case. I have searched ebay, amazon and other sites in google but could only find replacement holsters if I buy another case. I have four different cases already so I am sure I can find one to fit the holster.
I have checked out options in this thread but checking if there are other ideas.

Using the Seidio surface case holster.

Ditto on Seidio holsters breaking. I had theirs for my previous phone and wouldn't recommend it. Their design is flawed. I had an encased holster for my S6 and it worked really well. Design was probably one of the better.

Bump. I'm looking for something similar. Problem is that most of the pouches I find online are cheap and will eventually tear or break somehow.

Appreciate it.... Looking for one I can use with the factory case though. I know years ago I purchased the OnePlus one and someone had a great fit for it that was really for another phone. Looking for something close to that.

The clip he put should work fine. The factory case and that encased case will be very close to same size. And encased belt clips are one if the best you can get. I always buy an encased belt clip for all my phones and it fits multiple different cases.

Quick update... holster definitely will not work with the sandstone case. A little too loose.

There's also Seidio or Platinum (Bedt Buy) holsters that work. Compare the holsters they have and use the one closest to the size of the oneplus 6.

Man that sucks. I may order a s9plus belt holster and see if that works. It's slightly shorter .09. And it's gonna be one of those with the top clip.instead of a slide in case.

Try using a small piece of weather foam to take up the gap.

I bought a beautiful navy blue saffiano leather holster from Burkley Leather. It's made for the iPhone 8plus but the OnePlus 6 is the same size, trivially. And it really pops with the one plus 6 red!

Follow up...
Just got the supcase unicorn beetle style case on Amazon for 11$. It fits vertically in my holster from my iPhone 7 plus encased slimshield w/holster. There is a quarter inch lateral movement but it's secure that it won't fall out. Just some shimmy.

I know not ideal.but I use a holster alot and this is satisfactory for me until encased decides to make more options.

Just got the supcase unicorn beetle style case on Amazon for 11$. It fits vertically in my holster from my iPhone 7 plus encased slimshield w/holster. There is a quarter inch lateral movement but it's secure that it won't fall out. Just some shimmy.

Yeah I saw that but I don't like the "slide in" type. I prefer the clip in.

Bad news. I returned the case because of the buttons. They're too flat. I'm gonna try a rhinoshield crashguard. Hopefully it fits in there too
