After the update, I reseted the phone and reinstalled everything again. However, after recharging my phone, the battery charge stops at 98%. Maybe i need to calibrate the battery but how? Any help?
Try draining the battery to 10% then turn off the phone and let it charge for like 5 or 6 hours

Recently flashed my Oneplus One with this ROM and the issues I am facing now are :
1. Phone shuts down automatically when battery is around 10%
2. While watching videos on Facebook the screen blacks out after sometime, causing the video to stop/pause.
It might be a battery calibration problem. Try to use the phone until it shuts down and then charge it completely while its off. That might help.

Thanks will try that and let you know the results.
I have this problem a while ago, battery stays at 100% for a long time then when reach 30% the phone suddenly died. Charging for a straight 5 to 6 hours while the phone off fixed the battery problem. If its not working for the first charge, just make sure you completely discharge battery to 0 % then cycle charge again while off for 5 to 6 hours.
Hello,
I bought a second hand S6, and after some while I noticed a battery issue.
While discharging, everyting is normal until about 11-12%, when it drops to 5% and then continues like normal, 4-3-2-1-shutdown.
If I put the charger even for a second in any percentage below 5% it jumps to 8-9% , and then contunues the discharge from there without missing capacity.
If again I continue to charge without disconnecting, if goes lets say from 1% to 8% instantly and then continues charging like normal.
Is this normal for an old phone? Or can I fix it somehow?
I had never noticed anything like that in any of my android phones before, ever 3 years old.
I have already deleted battery stats, and performed 2-3 times full charge/discharge cycles, without results
The ROM is original 6.0.1 rooted.
Hello,
Tried at 100% and stayed at 100%
Should I try at 10% or 1% ?

It happens for me too. It's just Samsung's failure. Sometimes my battery jumps %1 to %17 when i plug the charger.
To be honest, you can't do anything about it.
I did the proceadure at 14% it dropped to 0% after some seconds and then shut down.
I charged it OFF but when it reached 95% went to 100% in seconds.
When I unplug at 100% and wait 5 minutes (always OFF) at next connection to charger showed 95%.
So it took me 1 hour of intermitted charges to reach 100% and stay there.
We'll see what happens next. I'll keep you updated.
Dear Community,
since few days a problem with my Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s came out of nowhere. My phone charged very quickly but as soon I removed the charger, the battery drained extremely fast. I lost about 1% in 2 Mins. Then as i charged my phone it charged again super fast to 100%. When I restarted the phone after charging it came back with only 42% so I could charge the phone again. After installing an update the charging went slower so i thought maybe the problem was fixed. So i tried to restart after charging my phone again to 100% and it came back with 30%. But now it is already 4 hours at exactly 30% without loosing any "%". Do you guys think my battery is broken or could it be a software problem?
Thanks for advices !
Sebastian
Maybe change a battery.
I did a thread earlier whereby I installed a replacement battery in my Mate-9 as the original had started to swell. I did it myself.
Today I notice that the recharging of the battery has become inconsistent, although I have managed for 2 months or more already with replacement battery. Sometimes it charges normally from 3-100% in 90 minutes, other times it won't charge at all. Sometimes it charges faster when turned off, other times it won't charge turned off. A full charge runs as normal for me up to 2 days usage. I cannot determine any pattern as to when it will charge or not charge. It seemed to happen after a recent Huawei system update. I'm using build 9.1.0.252 on model MHA-L29.
** Would a factory reset help at all, or is changing the battery the cause of this does anyone think - or maybe something else I could do?
Thanks.
This seems to have been Huawei system related for me. The poor battery recharging happened after a Huawei system update. Now Huawei has updated my system again to 9.1.0.252 (C636E7R1P8patch04) and the recharging procedure is normal again.
I have OnePlus 7 11.0.9.1.GM57AA, on Stock (No Root) I have recently replaced its battery, new battery is going good with decent backup, but with a trouble. It is (I suppose) wrongly calibrated.
It drains from 100% to 1% in 3-4 hours of regular use, and then remains on 1% for next approx 6+ hours, and eventually phone shuts down. I remember something similar happening with my (now vintage) nexus 4, after flashing ROM when battery wasn't sufficiently charged & then I have to re-calibrate it.
Trouble is my phone is not rooted, tried the guides given on reddit like charging it 100% while it was off, and the boot on & charge 100% further, then drain it shut down and charge again for 5 iterations & cache wipe after that. It is not working.
Any other way to calibrate battery please?
TIA
same here, found anything?
