[Q] Fixing Bluetooth running Optimized CM 12.1 for Galaxy S4 - General Questions and Answers

Hey guys, I just recently installed the Optimized CM 12.1 release from the JDCTeam on my Galaxy S4 and noticed that the Bluetooth is not working anymore. When i go into settings to turn it on I get the "Turning Bluetooth on..." message and then after a few seconds I get the "Unfortunately, Bluetooth Share has stopped." message. The second message keeps popping up until I kill the Bluetooth from launching.
My S4 is the Canadian model (SGH-I337M) and I did a clean install of the Optimized CM 12.1 ROM and am running the latest release (2015-08-17).
Also my Bluetooth worked fine before upgrading so I don't think its a hardware issue.
Rebooting the phone also does not solve the issue.
Is this a common issue? Is there anything I can do to fix the problem and start using Bluetooth again?
Thanks

Hi, either clear data and cache on "Bluetooth share" application or either flash again over your current custom rom may help.
Last try would be to select another gapps package because side effects have been seen with some of them. (I recommend open gapps - this package worked for me with the latest version open_gapps-arm-5.1-aroma-20150911.zip)

Best bet is to go to the thread you got your ROM from in the forum for your device, I'm sure they can get you straight.

[Completed] Touchscreen not working due to software malfunction on Samsung galaxy ace gt s5830i

I am using Samsung galaxy ace gt s5830i. I dialed a number *#*#2664#*#* to view the lcd version. after dialing the lcd firmware version came on the screen and an update button on the middle of the screen. My phone was connected to the internet via wifi. When I pressed the update button a message came showing update failed and the touchscreen stopped working. I restarted my phone but the problem still exist. I then rebooted my phone but no response on the touch. Finally I update my mobile from gingerbread to jellybean via custom rom but still the touchscreen was not working at all. I then again install gingerbread via odin but still the same case. Please give any suggestion to solve the problem. The touch was working properly before pressing the update button, this happened due the software malfunction I think. Please anybody have the solution, then help resolving it.

Hello, and welcome to XDA! You may have to reflash stock firmware through fastboot in order to get rid of this bug. I am linking you with the tutorial for restoring your phone to stock: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840645. I am also linking you with the help forum for your device in case someone is able to offer another suggestion: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-ace/s5830i-help. [Completed] Samsung galaxy s II stuck at samsung logo

Yesterday I Installed android 5.1 on my Samsung Galaxy S II with help of a tutorial video( The ROM I installed CM 12.1 Android 5.1.1) it all worked fine downloaded some apps like Pokemon go and it still worked fine until a update of cyanogenmod came up so I installed it restarted the phone, then the wifi connection started to do weird so I went to updates to see if there was an other update which I might have missed. There was one so I clicked it downloaded the update then I saw it was an old update. When the update rebooted the phone it didn't wanted to start. I think I downloaded an old update over a new update. I coulnd't get past the samsung logo cuz the screen would turn black . So I readed that I should reflash stock firmware via Odin which I did but now my phone keeps stuck at the samsung logo.
When I started the phone I did get the start screen
Samsung Galaxy S II
GT-I9100
then the samsung logo pops up
the intro music plays and that's it then it keeps repeating this steps all the time
also the recovery mode button combination doesn't seem to work so I cant get in recovery mode.
When I try to charge the phone
the screen stucks on the battery loading image
Hopefully someone has any ideas how to fix this problem and get my phone on and working again.
