I decided to purchase the 2gb ram version of the zenpad S8,the 4gb ram isn't available in UK .....yet....
The 2k display is gorgeous especially when watching a 5gb MKV files like The Avenger's on it,smooth and not stuttering. 32 gig on board and a slot for a micro SD card is a great bonus .
Hardware wise is quite solid ...thin..light ,compared to my aging N7 feels premium.
Unfortunately the software is super bloated and I was forced to disable and unistall as much as I could to make the tablet a bit more lively.
For the £200 price I think is a great buy ,the hardware as a lot of potential, I like the new type c charging port a lot,no NFC isn't a big deal in my opinion.
If the xda ROMs developers jumps on it with creating custom ROMs this tablet should fly .
And let not forget the front facing speakers.... They sound great.
Any questions please be free to ask.

So,I have a Tab S 8.4 and I wanted to know if I should get it or not. I'll get the 4GB one though, how is the battery life and gaming performance of your tablet? I use my Tablet way more than phone. Thank you

Games run good ,battery last me all day between the usual browsing... Social network apps....and video playing ..,
Like I said a lot of bloatware that need to be disabled, only running 5.0 so battery could be better if on a custom stock lollipop rom or marshmallows.
Let's hope Source Code gets released.

The Best Sub-$200.00 Phone Is Not The Moto G. It's...

Let me tell you about a deal..
Right Now in the U.S.A. @ Wal-Mart you can purchase the Alcatel Fierce for $129.00
MediaTek 1.2 Ghz Quad-Core.. (One-Click Rootable took me 2 minutes)
4.5 inch display
5.0 mp Camera with Flash
4.2.2 Jellybean..
And best of all.. You get to make your 32Gb SD Card your *Primary Storage*.. just select the option in settings:

No messing with foldermount, stickmount or anything else.. Stick in your SD Card select it done...
Adjust your Developer Options, run Nova or Holo and this 1.2 Quad-Core is very fast
Not benchmarking.. Real World Fast. I took it into a T-Mo store to compare it to the LG-G2 to decide if I wanted to get the LG-G2 to match my G-Pad 8.3
or keep this deal.. I'm keeping this deal for sure. Forget Synthetic Benchmarks, side by side, negligible difference.. certainly not enough to warrant spending $500.00 more..
Will it get any development here? Maybe, Maybe Not. Time will tell.. At $129.00 vs $199.00 for the 16 Gb Moto G is this a better way to go?
For my money, Yes the Alcatel Fierce is a steal of a deal..
Nice deal, however the moto G has KitKat, of course it depends on each persons use but still. About the processors, mediatek processors are good for normal stuff but wud lag in games or any other stuff. There are other phns in this range as well but no doubt this deal is very good

What's the best option to buy

Hi
I would like to know your opinion about what's the best phone to buy with 270$=220€=160£.
I would like it to has Android 4.2 and if possible, I would like to be able to update it to KitKat when the OS is launched.
The phones I saw at this price only have 512Mb of RAM, but I think it is too weak.

No its actually like 7 inches/17cm
I would recommend the Motorola Moto G . There are a lot of positive reviews.
the verge review
pocketnow review
I think that is too big to be in the paints pocket.. I was looking to a 5 inches max
It seems to be a nice phone! The only thing i don't like is that it doesn't support sd card
LG l9 2 is a good choice imho..
It's not quad core like the moto g but it has some very good feature and the lg's customization is realy good..
Lg said It is going to get 4.4 on february

LG G2 T-mobile direct for $261

I had been planning on waiting for the Nexus 6 then last week I bought the LG G2 for $261 shipped. As it turns out the Nexus 6 will have these specs

I think it will be priced at $350 maybe $400, I saved $89 by choosing the LG G2 over the upcoming N6 the cameras look to be the same and so is the screen size, I could care less about the extra pixels since I don't think anybody would see the difference during actual use. However the SOC and extra 1GB is a nice improvement over the G2 that some of you would pay $89 for. Also the google software updates must be nice.
Overall I am glad I sprung for this phone and won't have to wait 2 months for a nexus that may or may not have better battery life. If it does I will be sad if it does not I will have undoubtedly made the right decision.
I am fixing to get mine out of lay away at the local trade it store can't wait been using a galaxy nexus for 3 years. Been watching all the leaks on shamu possibly being the nexus 6 but it may not be, either way I love the vanilla android and the fact that newer nexus devices get updates to the latest and greatest the g2 battery life is just crazy good compared to what I have been used to. Any way congrats on a great phone for a great price, I will prolly see you around on these g2 threads once I get mine and get it up and running

I have a eye for alienware new m18 laptop(still wondering on dual amd r9 or dual gtx 880m) but have recently seen brands like sager and clevo. Now I im really in a candy shop with a sweet tooth. Go ASUS or MSI for your gaming laptop (Not Alienware, they just charge more for less). The MSI GE60 2PE is a good one as it has the GTX 860M and a Core i7 with 8GB RAM

[Q] Nexus 5 2015?

Guys I am really interested in your opinion for the new Nexus 5 2015 version. Would you want it and would you buy it? Personally I would be delighted if google makes another Nexus 5 with updated specs and fingerprint sensor with USB type C so it has fast charging like S6 has. The design can be the same, just little bit thinner and more "modern". What are your opinion guys? Please don't hesitate to post your opinion as it matters. Maybe if google sees this thread they change their mind and make another beloved N5
Here is one amazing concept made by Miqdal Abdul Halim

"Concept" renderings and projections are a pointless waste of time. Exynos 7420? It's already been stated that it'll have a Snapdragon 808. Dual front-facing speakers? I'd welcome it, but LG hasn't made any phone with that yet, so I'd doubt that. AMOLED? Unlikely. It'll probably be the same screen they put in the G2. I also wouldn't be surprised if all the buttons were on the back.
But yeah, I'm definitely interested in this new Nexus 5. As long as the pricing is more like the old Nexus 4/5, and not the 6, and the camera doesn't suck.
If I were to cave in to all this fanciful wanting and wishing that pervades this "concept" nonsense we're always inundated with every time a new flagship is rumored, I'd hope for a microSD slot. Android M apparently will once again have the ability (without root) to move apps to external storage, meaning we don't have to pay unreasonable amounts of for storage upgrades simply because we want to play Asphalt 8 and Game of Thrones on the same device and have enough space left to take a few pictures.
