This OP is a place to discuss, review, and fidn information regarding tempered glass screen protectors (TGSP's).
So far after many months of use these are the best ones in my personal opinion:
Intelliglass Pro
Intelliglass case cut
Intelliglass max coverage
Nillkin H+ Pro
Also a big shout out to Adam from intelliarmor for providing excellent support for their products!
I'm currently using an intelliarmor case cut; I've broken a few due to some drops, but my phone has survived everytime!
If anyone else has recommendations for TGSP's that are good shoot me a quote and I'll verify the product (via checking th discussion and peoples experience, then add it to the OP list)
Heres another one:

I'm tempted to get one, I already have a TPU case sitting on my desk.
I'm going to get one before my phone arrives, just not sure which brand. What are some reputable brands that have made tempered glass protectors for other phones?
Finally it seems like they decided against the curved 2.5 edges on the screen (or so it looks by pics). Maybe we will be able to find a tempered glass now that will actually fit now.
I bought 2 different ones lets see if they arrive before the phone does
I have had good luck with the Xtreme Guard Spartan Tempered Glass screen protectors, hoping they release one for the 6P. They run 90%+ off sales all the time so you can grab one with free shipping for a few bucks.

I second xtreme guards, I use their protectors on all my devices and was very happy when they started offering the glass ones. Always have coupons but they jack up their retail price but still cheaper than most other brand names.

Probably placeholders but still says Nexus 6 in most places in the listing including the title.

I haven't seen them post anything yet. I'm just glad here's no 2.5D curve on the phone itself. Finding a TGSP for the Nexus 6 was a nightmare last year and involved many many wasted protectors and a good deal of returns/money

Look at the pictures of it on Google's site and the hands on. Its clearly flat so that's why I said it's not 2.5° curved at the edges.

It's definitely flat, I was just thinking the same thing looking at some images this morning. I might actually go for tempered glass this year I've been running with the old school films on all my other devices. Either way we have a good month to do some research haha
Just got a reply back from XtremeGuard Support:
"Thanks for contacting us. We should be receiving Nexus 6P tempered glass within the next 1-2 weeks. Thank you!"
I'll probably order 2 just in case

So i just got my case , ordered it from ebay, was £2.99, think its gone up to £3.99 now, but its nice! I mean its plastic, and it takes away a bit from the niec glass feel, but it sure beats a cracked phone lol
Made a video here - http://youtu.be/jdE-1LVqbrA
Link to the case is in the description

I mentioned it in the video, you can , but only in the bottom right corner , i mean, the case is nice, but it doesnt feel quite as nice as the glass , but i just dont wanna break it lol
Nice video review, thanks. I am really torn with whether to get a case or not. I really do love the look and feel of the phone without a case or bumper, but as you said it's nice to have some type of protection.
For me I think the clear case or a bumper would be the best options because you still want to be able to see that pretty back side. Thanks again.
Ordered the clear 1 myself still waiting on it coming though...
Wireless Charging?
The main thing holding me back from getting a case is that it seems like most of them would interfere with wireless charging. I'd love to see a review that includes testing with a Qi charger.
Ended up ordering a clear one even though my nexus is not here yet LL3

I have this same case (except the black one) and use the energizer QI charger and it works just fine through the case. After it's been charging for a while it has a little stuck feel to it just like when plastic gets warm. It's not melting or anything, but it has a feel like there was a small magnet holding it in play after it gets warm. Doesn't do that without the case.
I'm not a huge case fan and I would use the phone naked because I'm really careful with my stuff, but the phone slides from the glass back. Different surfaces at different speeds, but I have seen it fall off many things from watching it. I am going to try a back screen protector and see if that prevents it from sliding and just go with that if it does. That a side, this case feels really good for the price.
I just spoke to Spigen and they said they will begin selling frames separately this month. Hopefully they'll be fair on pricing as i'd like to have a few different colors to switch out every once and a while.

aight you are just like my wife, i hope she doesn't she get to know. she'll want all colors.
I'm awaiting my case.
What I find funny though is that Spigen is selling the frames separately, which is a good thing for color choice, while customers are reporting that their frames are peeling and breaking.
Hmmm.....a self sustaining market.
I'm paying $30+ for a case and I don't expect it to fail in a short period of time, if at all.
Time will tell, but so far the comments are not leaning towards the positive side.
Yeah, mine actually peeled.
I had the neohybrid ex for my s2 and it still like new.
Whereas this time round it peeled barely even one month after use.
I love my neo hybrid but one drop and my frame split. I ordered a real one and when it hit the floor on is corner it cracked then split. I tried super glue but because you have to squeeze the frame on it always splits.
I would like if spigen sells the frames cheaper because now I want new colors plus the one I broke. Im using a fake UAG now and im loving it.

Hm that sucks guys, maybe I've had good luck with mine. I've dropped my Neo Hybrid an effing ton all over the place and the frame is still scratchless and no paint has come off

I don't think they'll do squat about this.
There's a warning not to separate frame from the TPU/Silicone. They'll probably try to blame it as user inflicted damage.

I'm a accessory whore man! What can I say? I like my phones like I like my women....many different flavors!
I am seeing a lot of screen protectors coming out on amazon, that are from small companies, was wondering if anybody has ever tried them and which one is the best one? Should I go try some of them out or wait for Zagg to come out of one of their own for the Moto Z/Z force?
Never felt like paying the premium for Zagg stuff; I've been using Skinomi protectors on my last three phones (it's the same material as Zagg/GadgetGuard etc). Have the TechSkin on my Z Force and it fits PERFECTLY, right up to the edge. Tried the MatteSkin once, but found it de-contrasted my screen way too much.

Well crap. I thought it was the Force that had the 2.5D screen edges. We aren't ever going to get a decent glass screen protector for this phone. My S7 was just like this and as popular as it is doesn't have a good glass screen protector.

how is the fit?
I wish I would have come across this thread before I bought the IQ Shield Tempered Glass protector. Clarity and feel are amazing but the edges don't seal!! It really grinds my gears.
Just bought a generic tempered glass (I highly doubt it is real tempered glass, maybe just some plastic). It is really cheap, not prone to fingerprints, and it makes the screen look great. Adhesion is nice, no abnormal lifts from the sides. Here are some pictures and the price tag.
I'm jealous, that seal looks perfect! I paid twice as much and mine is lifted on the left, right, and bottom edges.

Installed today... The front screen protector is of good quality and attach perfectly on screen even if it is a bit small in size in all directions in my opinion. Great transparency and print resistance too...
The back one is like old screen protections and it's impossible to fit it without a lot of bubble...
Too much for me so I removed... It's a pity since it had a good print resistance too... that was really needed.
Anyone found a screen protector that covers the entire front?

So the link I posted last week, I realized that was for the Moto Z Force and I just have the Moto Z/Moto Z Droid. So I purchased this one and will be returning the other one.

Here are some photos to show how much it covers the phone: https://goo.gl/photos/fokxXnJzSq58zKAU6
I didn't get it on exactly perfect but if I did then I think it would have been pretty close to full coverage. I'm considering pull it off and replacing it. Also, I bought a full body protector so that I could put something on the back to protect from scratches and some finger prints. When I pulled it out and looked at it before applying it to the phone then I noticed there was no hole for the gold connection pins to pass through. I was very disappointed. Here is a link to the full body protector.

I'm amazed at the lack of official accessories for the launch.
Then again, look what happened to best buy/target.
I guess we will just have to wait...
I received mine. Haven't installed it yet. But it's in my grubby little hands. Mobilefun VERY early order.
Ok, installed.
Fits better than many of the aftermarket ones based on what I've seen for reviews. Sides are curved already, little cutouts at the corners so they don't pull up.
After several hours of bubblepushing, I've got it almost perfect. I also think letting it get nice and heated up on the wireless charger helped, tho one of the sides still has some bubbles and the curved screen makes it really tough to push them out. They get shoved around. I suspect all would have similar issues.
it feels less rubbery than say a Zagg, not as smooth as glass. The curves do NOT make it easier to install but if you take your time, and have plenty of patience, it should go fine.
Inside the box, you get 2 screen protectors, a 2 inch square microfiber cloth and some dust removal stickers. No cleaner, no instructions but the case had nice foam padding.... It does not state wet or dry install. I went with dry.
I scrapped the stickers and mf cloth and used real cleaner and a much bigger microfiber cloth. Also got my bathroom all steamy to clear dust particles because there's nothing more OCD than a big piece of lint under your screen.
Now, you're going to want to know if it'll work with cases. Here's the rub. I only have the official S-VIEW case and it seemed to be fine there, didn't push up the sides "YET".
I've had it out of the case for HOURS after the install and just put it in 10 minutes ago.
Samsung got the fit nearly perfect, not unexpected. It is their device.
It's NOT the cheapest one out there and it seems rather hard to find for now, but so far, I'm "ok" with it. Time will tell.
I'll post at a later date/time if the sides start pushing up or the remaining bubbles don't get worked out. I cannot test it with any other case as I almost always use the s-view one.

I think you can get them for CA from the same website, from what I gather everything is shipped from the UK anyway.
Edit: Yup, found it: http://ca.mobilefun.com/official-samsung-galaxy-note-7-screen-protector-60374
Is there an orange-peel effect on this original Samsung screen protector? Since it's a bit rubbery like Zagg.
No orange peel effect, it's not like the original Zagg, more like the HD one. Feels like hard plastic and not glass tho.
followup notes.
Still attached to the sides fine. Have taken the phone in and out of the sview case several times now to put in the Gear VR. Not once has it pushed up the sides.
The remaining bubbles have worked their way out now. I switched tips on my spen as suggested and it feels fine.
I think it's a keeper. Plus they give you 2 so I have a spare for when/if I tear this one up.
What tip you did you switch too? I got my screen protector on the way.

The white one felt the best. YMMV.
Hmmm, I dunnooo.......
I have serious doubts about this being actual OEM. But if it works, HEY, why not (key takeaway)....been trying to get this since before release. If China can make Burberry bags that are identical to their "genuine" counterparts well then........
Anyway, if the ones from "Mobile Fun" really are OEM, I am curious to know how they got them, seeing as though Samsung themselves haven't started selling this item yet.
I think the design is ingenious, with the corner niches to allow for adherence to the beveled corners and curved sides.
---------- Post added at 03:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:11 AM ----------
I should add that I'm using an IQ Shield. First one was total garbage, they sent a replacement, just applied the replacement they sent me (looks like it might be a winner, though it's curing now so will update with results.
Requires extreme patience, minimal spray and a hairdryer but it IS possible. Sorry to take off track.
Waiting for OEM SP's to be made available in the States.

UPDATE* Second IQ Shield is better, and let me tell you, I followed the instruction video, and card perfectly, BUT, the edges are starting to lift again.
Ordered the (as advertised) OEM Screen Protector from MobileFun.com ... So this will have to do for now, until the Samsung one comes in.
And lastly, I see everyone blaming the manufacturers of screen protectors, they are all garbage, because it's near impossible getting the curved edges and beveled corners to stay down, even with a wet install.
The Note 7 has a sharp curve, as opposed to a slight arch (like on previous Samsung curved screens), hence it is that much harder to keep down.

Is there any difference between the tips? i.e. white is softer, or vice versa??

I'm using the OEM screen protector and clear view cover. Both are working well together

UPDATE* Second IQ Shield is better, and let me tell you, I followed the instruction video, and card perfectly, BUT, the edges are starting to lift again.
Ordered the (as advertised) OEM Screen Protector from MobileFun.com ... So this will have to for now, until the Samsung one comes in.
And lastly, I see everyone blaming the manufacturers of screen protectors, they are all garbage, because it's near impossible getting the curved edges and beveled corners to stay down, even with a wet install.

So I am the second version. Should into try it? In have the first version and it works really well. Just have some of the edges raising. Is the updated version smaller?

Thanks for the compliments We got all Pixel and Pixel 4 XL pre-orders shipped out as of yesterday.
Just watched that video. Holy cow! Heading to their site now. Thanks for posting this.
I just received a set of PhantomSkinz for my 4 XL.
There are no cutouts for sensors or selfie cam.
Will try it on anyways, and report back if it interferes. Any word on this?
Also have a set of SuperShieldz PET type, which have a generous cutout across the entire top. Will go to that if I run into any issues, worked well on my 3 XL for a full year.
Steaming up the bathroom rn... my least favorite OCD activity of all time, the installs for these.

Hate to break it to you, but your first batch of protectors aren't wide enough. Even with perfect alignment there is about 1.25mm of exposed display area on each side. :\

Hi guys,
Three things:
We did discover an issue with our screen protectors for the Google Pixel 4 XL as a result of these comments and your calls/emails. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. There was a communication issue between the product designers and our guys producing the screen protectors. The updated case-friendly screen protector will extend 1.17mm further around all outer edges. For the left and right edges, this is basically right on the edge of the visible screen.
There is no edge-to-edge screen protector option for this device. Only case-friendly. The reason being is the curve of the glass and the ultra low surface energy of the oleophobic coating on the glass which reduces the adhesion of our screen protectors.
We typically do not provide cutouts for under glass sensors or selfie cameras as shown in the product photos on our website and as addressed on our FAQ page https://phantomskinz.com/frequently-asked-questions/#ScreenCutouts. We have done quite a bit of testing with many different devices and have never found any adverse affect, nor have we had any actual complaints. We believe our version provides the best protection and the highest quality photos due to the lack of grease buildup which would occur if there were a cutout.
As a result of the previously incorrect screen protector design, we will be offering free replacement screen protectors if you have an affected unit. Please email us if you have any questions, comments, or concerns about the updated version, or to request a replacement. Again, thank you for bringing the issue to our attention and thanks for choosing PhantomSkinz
