I just spoke to Spigen and they said they will begin selling frames separately this month. Hopefully they'll be fair on pricing as i'd like to have a few different colors to switch out every once and a while.

I'm awaiting my case.
What I find funny though is that Spigen is selling the frames separately, which is a good thing for color choice, while customers are reporting that their frames are peeling and breaking.
Hmmm.....a self sustaining market.
I'm paying $30+ for a case and I don't expect it to fail in a short period of time, if at all.
Time will tell, but so far the comments are not leaning towards the positive side.
Yeah, mine actually peeled.
I had the neohybrid ex for my s2 and it still like new.
Whereas this time round it peeled barely even one month after use.
I love my neo hybrid but one drop and my frame split. I ordered a real one and when it hit the floor on is corner it cracked then split. I tried super glue but because you have to squeeze the frame on it always splits.
I would like if spigen sells the frames cheaper because now I want new colors plus the one I broke. Im using a fake UAG now and im loving it.

Hm that sucks guys, maybe I've had good luck with mine. I've dropped my Neo Hybrid an effing ton all over the place and the frame is still scratchless and no paint has come off

I don't think they'll do squat about this.
There's a warning not to separate frame from the TPU/Silicone. They'll probably try to blame it as user inflicted damage.

So i just got my case , ordered it from ebay, was £2.99, think its gone up to £3.99 now, but its nice! I mean its plastic, and it takes away a bit from the niec glass feel, but it sure beats a cracked phone lol

I mentioned it in the video, you can , but only in the bottom right corner , i mean, the case is nice, but it doesnt feel quite as nice as the glass , but i just dont wanna break it lol
Nice video review, thanks. I am really torn with whether to get a case or not. I really do love the look and feel of the phone without a case or bumper, but as you said it's nice to have some type of protection.
For me I think the clear case or a bumper would be the best options because you still want to be able to see that pretty back side. Thanks again.

The main thing holding me back from getting a case is that it seems like most of them would interfere with wireless charging. I'd love to see a review that includes testing with a Qi charger.

I have this same case (except the black one) and use the energizer QI charger and it works just fine through the case. After it's been charging for a while it has a little stuck feel to it just like when plastic gets warm. It's not melting or anything, but it has a feel like there was a small magnet holding it in play after it gets warm. Doesn't do that without the case.
I'm not a huge case fan and I would use the phone naked because I'm really careful with my stuff, but the phone slides from the glass back. Different surfaces at different speeds, but I have seen it fall off many things from watching it. I am going to try a back screen protector and see if that prevents it from sliding and just go with that if it does. That a side, this case feels really good for the price.
Looking for a decent case for protection that is also ergonomic. OtterBox was my first choice, but it's quite expensive
Anyone have any suggestions? Or have experience with any of the ones below?

For my money and taste the only one of those worth it would be the Griffin:thumbup: just don't see myself paying that much for the other ones. My only grip is not a wide variety if colors "yet" and straight black isn't one of the few so there's only a few choices for me,but some color choice for a great case at a great price is better than nothing

I'm probably going to go with the Griffin or Latitude. The JNP covers that you were talking about are awesome. My only gripe is that there is no straight black or at least a *dark* colored cover. Bright colors usually give me a headache lol

I bought a Belkin two weeks ago. So far so good. Various colors are available.

It's on ebay for a bit cheaper and it's not waterproof. Just resistant. So could take splashes and stuff like that but wouldn't immerse for any extended period of time.
Lifeproof doesn't exist yet, but if it did, it's a 6.6 foot drop. Most of the heavy duty cases are 2 meter drop tested.

This does look good. I usually don't go for cases like this myself. But having gorilla glass instead of plastic crap makes it more desirable than the defender.

same dilema here this case or the siedio ..which finally has a ship date.. If I get the siedio Ill get the combo and after hunting season and less harsh weather ill use the clip and rock the Urban Armor gear since its supposed to fit the siedio clip.. although the love mei looks pretty bad ass.. I was gonna get the griffin but ive dedcided the obex would be better.

I just recieved mine from dx-box. now the case feels like a brick which is good. .. bit the screen protector is not gorilla glass. Its thick plastic. Which makes it hard to touch things on the side of the screen and back button is hard to use. My touch sensitivity is on high and still the same. I recommend this if your patient. But otherwise get it from the company which I'm going to do.

They line up well. I think this is the legit case but maybe was not up to quality control because my felt was off like the pictures.

Thanks bud! I'm in Canada (eh?) so I had to pay 19 bucks for it, but still way better price than the one on Google. If its the same thing, awesome! If not, meh...just threw away 19 bucks.

Just got mine. It is definitely a fake cover. If you have the official one from Google you will see the difference in the felt. It isn't even felt on this particular case. Not unattractive per se but not as good as the official.

The Nexus 6P doesn't have the most inspiring design, but when it comes to hardware prowess, value for money and Google extras, this best-ever Nexus is hard to beat.
Can anyone recommend a case that's semitransparent (want to show off the nebula blue), will protect against a pocket drop (no really thin cases) and lastly has room for an iring attachment (a flat surface on the back in the middle of the phone)?
This is what I use. Absolutely love it. I have the red/clear one cause the red is actually a nice accent against the blue. Also using a Pop Socket with it.

It's such a nice case. Especially for the price. I always get UAG cases for all of my phones but at the time they didn't make one for the OnePlus 7 Pro (they do now) and I hated the stock one that came with the phone.

The Rinke case design is too busy for my taste. I've been using the Supcase Unicorn Beetle since June and I really like it. The back is a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but it's easy to clean and the case is very protective. Survived a pocket height drop landing face down on pavement and didn't even scratch my screen protector.
