[APP][GAME][2.2+] The Man Test - Show how manly you are [v1.1.1][4/26/12]

As a new-comer to Android app/game development, Xatik Group, LLC created an app called the Man Test. The test will randomly give you 15 questions out of the 50+ questions that are currently in the app, and rate how manly you are! You can then see how you stack up against the rest of the "Men" in the world by submitting your score to our global leaderboard (it helps to create a Scoreloop account if you don't already have one)!
Starting with our 50+ question base, the intent is that this app will morph into a user generated question/answer test. All you have to do is hit the "Submit Question" button in the app or fill out the form here.
Please help support our start-up by downloading the app! You can search for it in the Play Store (formally the Android Marketplace) by searching "Man Test Xatik", or simply download the free version from here and the paid version (no ads) from here.

Features
Besides just taking The Man Test, we have added some nice features that will have you wanting to brag about how manly you are. Current features include:
Submit a Question - Get your own question added to the app! The goal is to have the majority of the questions come from the users. This will add tons of variety to the test and keep it ever-changing. So if you believe you have a question that shows how manly someone is, feel free to share with the world! We are gladly taking submissions straight from the app or on our website. If you submit a question from in the app, you will get bonus points added to your final test scores!
50+ Questions - To make sure you men cannot simply remember all of the answers, we have plenty of questions to go through!
Achievements - Getting a man card isn’t enough for you? Well we have the solution for you with our built in achievements. Go ahead and try and get them all. We dare you.
Global/Local Leaderboards – Compare how manly you are against the rest of the world or just your friends!
Social Network Awareness – With the power of Scoreloop, you are able to easily share what you’ve been up to straight on your favorite Social Networks!
User Stats - The app will track your average score, points, time, and bonus points along with how many times you have started/finished the test and how many times you have submitted a score.

We're sorry that you feel that way, but our app does not steal any of your personal information.
Scoreloop requires the permission such that it can integrate with your social networks. This way, you can find your friends that also use Scoreloop.

We understand the hesitation for downloading the app.
As said above, our app uses Scoreloop to have a global leaderboard feature without having to buy and maintain our own server. It seems that we can, however, remove the 'Read Contact Data' permission as it is apparently not needed by Scoreloop. Scoreloop uses this to help you find friends from your contact list that also uses Scoreloop. We thought this would be a nice feature.

To ease people's worries, we will remove this permission in our update today. This may, however, stop existing features provided by scoreloop in the future.
However, the 'Read Phone State and Identity' permission can not be easily removed. Here is another post from Scoreloop support about it:

Hello spc_hicks09,
We have now just released a new version of the app without the 'Personal Information' permissions.
I hope this shows that we mean only the best with our app.
As for the Read Phone State permission, we unfortunately cannot remove this without removing Scoreloop. This would unfortunately stop major features that we thought would be nice to have in our App.
As Josh said, we really do appreciate the comments.
In the future, we will do our best to find a better third party Global Leaderboard or purchase our own Server to avoid scary permissions.

Phonechievements (latest version 1.35)
About
Phonechievements brings achievements to the mobile phone. For those who are gamers the concept isn't new, for those who are not, achievements are just rewards you get for accomplishing a goal. You don't get an actual prize, it's just a form of reward that you get in writing. Moreover, this app allows you to brag on Facebook with them (for now).
Open the app and navigate through the list. Each achievement has a description on how you can unlock it. Want to let everyone know how you master the phone? Share on Facebook the unlocked achievements. Just open the app and go to the achievement and a Facebook logo button will allow you to do that.
With each update new features and of course new phonechievements will be added.
If you like the idea and want to help me improve or have any suggestions for new achievements, please check it out.
The app is available for Android 2.0+. If you find any issues please let me know so I can fix them.

Please let me know if there's any crash or any problem with the app. I see there's a general request for a JellyBean / ICS theme therefore I will be working on this alongside with the new features and achievements. The theme should be out soon so stay tuned. In the meantime enjoy the achievements and if you think of some new ones, please let me know and you could see them in the app.
Also I would appreciate some feedback regarding battery usage, memory usage and stuff like that. I got to test it on some friend's phones while on BETA and it was reported as ok, but the more data the better.

Yes. That would definitely make it better. I added this to the TODO list... quite on top. This will be available on a unique username base and you would be able to add friends using their username. Also a profile webpage would display all your unlocked achievements and as you said allow you to compare with other users you know or share your profile link anywhere you want.

Just published a new update on GPlay. Give it some time to actually get it.
What's New:
* Added three new Phonechievements: Well Informed (Apps), I Always Take The Bus (Power Wizard), The Alternative Approach (Power Wizard)
* Minor bug fixes

Work in progress:
* Just started implementing the Twitter integration (a share button will be available next to the Facebook one).
* Another thing I started working on is a profile webpage. You will be able to choose a username and get a unique profile URL to share with your friends... and brag . Also a compare tool will be available so you can show your frinds that you have more phonechievements
* This is just the beginning as this webpage could easily be developed and improved. The way you will be able to update your profile is either automatically (setting) or manually.
* I also got a lot of complains about battery draining when GPS is on. I know what the problem is and it will be fixed in tomorrow's update
* AND THE BIG ONE COMING IN TOMORROW'S UPDATE: RandomChievements : The are phonechievements, yes they are ... but a little special. They are inactive most of the time, meaning you can't unlock them even if you accomplish the goal (by accident ). They become active randomly, at any time. You will get a notification that the randomchievement has become active. From that moment on you have a random amount of time to complete it. Sometimes it might be almost impossible to do it. But if you miss it , there's no worry, it will get active some other time. Randomly, of course. The only known fact is that it can not tell you to unlock it in less than 15 minutes. This is the lower limit. The upper limit is 6 hours. There will be a new category called Randomchievements where this new type of phonechievement will take its rest.
Last but not least... if you experience any issues , crashes , please report them so I can try and fix the issues.

New thing though - You should hide what makes the achievement unlock - and only show descriptions, so that the exploring is more fun!

[GAME][2.2+] Mr. Dandelion's Adventures [Final Release]

I have released my first Android game Mr. Dandelion's Adventures. It's still work in progress - I am a hobbyist and the purpose of this game is to learn more than anything else. It's a simple platformer/physics/causal game where you use wind to fly a stylized dandelion seed around.

I have already received good and honest reviews from people on the internet, and that was the reason for all the updates I have already released (current version is 1.8.1). I think it made the game less boring and therefore I'd appreciate more of the honest feedback!
The game is using AndEngine for 2D graphics, other than that I used Facebook SDK and that's all.
Blog entry: I started three months with knowledge of Java programming, other than that I had nothing. I wanted to do everything by myself, so I learned basics of illustration, animation, sound processing. I have found tons of useful resources on the web (music, sounds) licensed as CC-BY or CC-0 which helped me a lot. I worked on the game on weekends and sometimes after work - I still have my full time job and I don't really think I can go full time Indie If anyone wants to know how I did this or that, let me know!

It is a great encouragement for future work.

Very nice game, I love the reaction of the dandelion to the user actions, as well as the low gravity implementation, and it is quite difficult to master.
With more "candy candy" graphics (and music!) it could be a hit :good::good:

Thanks for the suggestion. I already have some ideas for graphics and I will put in more music, that's not a problem - I already have a playlist for it. I was just afraid to make the game too big now, when there are many updates. But since more people requested the samething, it will be done! :good:

Yes, it is AndEngine. It's pretty simple. Some things are harder to achieve, because AndEngine makes a lot of simplifications, but for a first game, I can recommend it!

3) Improve graphics of first two seasons and common graphics

The game is pretty much stable, no crash reports. After the review from Android Assault, I am getting more downloads (woohoo). So I guess I need to be careful with the updates. Well, this is my first game and I am even a novice Android user. So I don't know what people prefer. One big update or many small updates? Does it matter?

And I think people like to see detailed update descriptions too.

Hint: You mist figure out a way, how to pickup all coins at once. Blow once from the correct spot in correct direction and then just leave him to pick up coins

When the application crashes, you have two options. Close and Report. When you use Report, you have an option to submit a stacktrace and your custom message. It is very useful when you describe what you tried to do just before the crash. Also if you fill in the message I get information which phone/device have you used. From there I can determine what happened.:good:

BuilDota2 Lite allows you the unique option to selecting a hero, trying out different item and skill combinations and finding out how his complete stats will be under a combination. BuilDota2 Lite allows the player to tinker with his combinations in order to see how to let his character evolve to become what the play wishes for, instead of blindly trying out things.
Of course, knowing in advance what hero to select, items to hoard and skills to develop will allow the player to reach the hero he wanted in the shortest and easiest way possible, allowing the Dota 2 player to concentrate on the most important thing, the carnage.
To sum it up, BuilDota2 Lite with its always updated hero info, item combination selection, hero evolution slider, Dota 2 like interface and actual hero animation and sounds is the thing that separates the casual Dota 2 players from the serious, professional ones. There's just no other way to look at this.

Yes, I am one of the small developers gang. Lesser than a full Dota 2 Team
Regarding guides - it is a good idea and we are going to provide it as we finish with the core functionality - hero builder.
There is the Invoker left unhandled and we focus on this specific hero, because a lot of people told that they need him.

DPS calculations added to BuilDota 2 for Dota 2
Recently we got a suggestion: "Keep improving. You could add a damage calculator for example. How much damage can the hero deal in an amount of time etc."
And decided to provide dps calculations immediately. Now you have it and can find it at the parameters tooltip (with damage and armor data). It allows you to make reasonable choise between items like "Gloves of Haste" or like "Blades of Attack".

We decided that since the Dota 2 client does not provide clear data regarding hero EHP and DPS - we should provide it to all players who interested in improving their skills and knowledge.
Dota 2 community deserves the best - so get it!
Now you can find out immediately what is better for EHP - one more Bracer or Chainmail. You can check easily which hero has the highest start and final EHP and so on...

Greetings, Aptony. I can suggest to use Wi-Fi connection, because it is needed to download data. If it would not help, please try to reinstall the app, it should help.

I like it idea but I have one question. Does your app warn user when change ringtone? Just when I change ringtone by myself at first time I don`t react on it because I have not habit

no. setting of ringtones are working in background and user just select folder with his ringtones and can forget and close the app

in 2015 there are so "many" (sarcasm) phones with 2.3+ around 10-15% so i decided do not support this versions
BUT
if i will get more responses with wish about 2.3+ version, i will do it

1.9.1 version will be available at Google Play soon!

Want to say that version will be stopped at 1.9.2 till i will publish some re-design of my app
and also i will add Alarms (and randomization for it) keep calm

More bumping within 24 hours. I've cleaned the thread of these bumps.
One other note, constantly bumping a thread won't get more people downloading it. It will instead annoy people and make the thread creator seem desperate and unprofessional.
More spamming and I will need to close the thread. And please, read what I've said here. Bumping will make your app less popular, not more. :good:

Finally I finished work with alarm clocks, randtune v2.0 realese will be soon

there are some small update 1.9.2.2 on Google play
minor bug fixes
