Moto G + Cardboard - Moto G 2015 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How good is virtual reality experience with it?

i dont think so, i dont have a Cardboard but the screen of the moto g 2015 isnt realy good.

There is no gyroscope so VR head movements don't work.. The quality is bad. Overall you can try is out but not worth it. You can use VR for watching movies.. Feels like you are in a theatre.

Ive always liked the piano look on nexus... So I might just get the white back cover for some days and use the black one for formal days. I love this idea of being able to change back a whenever u want.

They have deleted it, so... I don't know what think about it... If someday a white moto g would be released I would convert me one to white, including the screen. I hope it

Is Moto G Worth Buying ?

Hi, I am from India and today flipkart is launching Moto G so i want to know if its worth buying Moto G 8gb Variant ?
Is there any alternative better phone for that 12.5k ?
Please do Reply
The phone is worth buying for sure, but i would save up for the 16gb version

At least un USA and Latín American, The G os easily the bestia phone for its price... Even better than some costing 2 por even 3 times its price, all thanks to some amazing optimization and pretty much stock android
Get it ! Its well worth it, the best price/performance phone out there alongside the N5
Sent from my XT1032 using xda app-developers app
I would not expect much from the camera since it's pretty average but at the price you would be amazed it has a camera at all. but nevertheless the phone is totally worth buying without a doubt.

The camera is pretty subpar. Other than that you will be satisfied, at least for the price point.
I ordered the 8gb one. my sister told she does not need 16gb.. it was up to her to decide.
Battery cannot be removed will that be an issue ?

Does the ROM made for single SIM variant works on the dual SIM model, I mean does the 1SIM work perfectly...atleast 1SIM should work properly!
For sure an upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy SII, Epic 4g Touch. Mostly the battery and the screen. The camera is honestly slightly worse, but I don't instagram my food so it's not a huge deal to me.

Yes, perfectly normal - as long as you're using it on the first sim slot. Doing it myself on mine.
Go for it dude. I got the XT1032 (single-SIM) for 16.5K a few weeks ago, because I was concerned a lot about dev. support. But, seems like you can go with the XT1033 as well as it seems to support most ROMs.
buy it, you wont be disapointed. just remember if you let it discharge completely and it wont turn on or recharge - keep the power button pressed until it turns on
Fantastic phone for the money. Feels like a Nexus, looks like one, performs like one. Great phone, **** 2G battery drain though lol.

Been loving this phone myself. The battery life is amazing on it, and it is pretty tough to kill it. Wish it was 32 instead of 16 gigs but no biggie.

I have moto g and I got the optimus g pro(New at atf is 333 bucks) while the g is a great phone the pro has been in my hands and I haven't even thought bout my g.
It depends on budget and what you need in a phone. I really enjoying have lte again and the pro has more bang for buck for another 100+ but if you need a unlocked phone then the g is your best bet.

Phone to replace my LG G4

I bought an LG G4 3 months ago on swappa. I have since regretted the decision. Everything has gone wrong. It drops WiFi, and data locks up on cellular meaning I have to toggle airplane mode in and off and it's dropping calls. It also no longer charges so I have to swap batteries every time I want to charge. This phone has got to go...
My phone needs.
-1 day of battery life with at least 6 hours of screen time.
-quick OS updates
-decent camera with manual mode preferred
-good water resistance rating. Should be able to survive being in my pocket through a good rain storm.
-decent quality screen in sunlight.
- t mobile band 12
-less than 300 on swappa
What I don't care about
-benchmarks, as long as the phone is responsive.
-Screen size.
I mostly just use the phone for Facebook, Web browsing, and watching videos. I don't play games.
Is there a phone out there that can live up to this. I was looking at the moto x play, but it never came to the US and lacks band 12/VOLTE
HTC one a9 pretty good
Lg flex 2
Lg v10
Sony xperia x
Sony z3 plus
Samsung s5 or s6

I suggest you Sony Xperia Z2 as this flagship is worth buying.. And the variants of Sony like Z3 Z4 Z5 will be better if you keep them aside.

I have never needed to contact oneplus, so I have no opinion on after sales care. I don't think at this time I would bother with the 1+3 as the 1 is still so good, but then again there's more to life than a smartphone.

Is the LG G3 LS990 any good?

I have a friend selling it to me for $100, 32g. I am upgrading from a very old phone and use VR with my friend's 1080p phone. I use RiftCat and other apps. considering that the g3 has a 2560x1440 screen I thought that would be great. It also has GYRO if I remember right.
It's a good phone and for 100$ you can't go wrong. It does have a gyroscope, it has wireless charging too
