This app in my humble opinion is better than dropbox, ADrive, and others that probe that I can not remember.
for starters, you sign the easiest way and without confirmation, the system is completely free and never have to do upgrade by cost.
Input give you 10 gigs of space in the cloud, you get 1 gig extra friend you invite, reaching maximum 50 gigabytes.
From what I like most is that you can upload a single file of 1 gigabyte.
It is easy to use and share those files can do public or private.
The public can comment and like. can be partners and friends, go to a user or anyone to follow.
For this and more they recommend.

free version doesn't support Android.
There seems to be loads of cloud storage popping up everywhere nowadays
Id much rather use a reputable one, Like dropbox, google drive, microsoft skydive (i think thats what its called ?)
I dont really fancy uploading precious photo's / documents to some homemade cloud storage server
also, android is google, everything i use is google, i like the whole idea of everything being together as one
google will rule the world one day !!

I agree with what azzledazzle said.
I don't want to upload important data to newer / lesser known cloud storage.
I already have Google Drive (use it to store important data, weekly reports etc) and Box and Drop Box : use it to share data.

Some people actually do not use online storage for sensitive data. I'm uploading old videos right now, they take up a lot of space so this is pretty useful.

Does anyone know? Iva already made my Samsung account. I saw email from dropbox saying complete 5 steps to claim 48gb. I did 5 out of 7 steps. It only gave me the usual free space. My account not showing a 48-50gb increase in storage capacity. I even did all those other miscellaneous ones like link to Facebook, twitter, follow twitter, comment on why you like dropbox. Those only gave me the normal additional space.
How do we claim the promised 50gb of storage? Or how do you activate/enable it? Has anyone successfully done so yet with their Galaxy Note 10.1?

I did the same steps as you, only did about 5 of the steps, go back to the original email and open it, do your steps that were carried out show completed in green? If that is the case you should receive the free space, at least that's what happened to me. I have the full 50GB for 2 years.

Yes, I have 5 steps that are green. meaning completed. did yours 50gb take effext immediately? I checked dropbox app earlier. In settings it didn't show the new added amount. It shows percentage used out of total. ill check again later and see.
Thanks

Yes, as soon as I completed five of the steps, I got a message advising that my 50 GB has been activated/assigned. Not sure why you are having the issues.

Box has given me 50gb for life, what's the big deal? They did not cap it to just a few users, it was a promotion which if you installed it by a certain date, they gave you the 50gb.
I was unable to claim my free storage. I installed it but never got prompted for extra steps to claim. I wonder if this has anything to do with getting the free storage about 2 months ago from my Galaxy S3?
Weird, it worked ok for me - and I already have a Dropbox account that I've previously applied offers to. I just followed the setup prompts, entered my current account info, then got an email a few minutes later. I now have 122gb of completely free storage, lol
Does anyone know a way I can kind of reset the dropbox software and try to sign up again to see if I can get my free storage?

Also be sure to say "yes" when it asks you if you want to automatically upload photos. You can always turn that off after you set up the account and get your free space.

I never got the email with the steps, but found this help page and have starting completing the steps. It's for another device but steps apply.

As I found out today after receiving my GN 10.1 that getting the 50GB Dropbox is not automatic. After you're presented with the offer on the GN 10.1 and creating an account you'll initially only get 2GB. You'll need to run the Dropbox app on the GN 10.1 then log into the web site which will then show you the five steps out of a total of seven that you're required to do to earn the additional 48GB (50GB total).
Make a note of this url as it lists the seven steps but only five are required:
https://www.dropbox.com/gs
And, the seven steps (I completed 1, 2, 3 which I believe are mandatory, 7 was a given and 6):
1. Take the Dropbox tour
2. Install Dropbox on your computer
3. Put files in your dropbox folder
4. Install Dropbox on other computers you use
5. Share a folder with friends or colleagues
6. Invite some friends to join Dropbox (just send to one of your other emails)
7. Install Dropbox on your mobile device (this is automatic)

I initially declined the free upgrade, but then later changed my mind and this did the trick. For me, Dropbox combined with Dropsync is easily the best cloud storage/syncing option on Android right now. And I figure 2 years from now I'll hopefully have more of a decent paying job, so the $10/month to keep my upgraded storage won't be so big of a deal. I've never been too high on cloud storage, but now that I'm using the camera on my Note 5.3 more and taking a lot more notes with this, I'm seeing its value.

Hey everyone!
I was looking at a few storage apps like Drive, Box, Dropbox, and Ubuntu One and was trying to think of how to better make use them. Anyone any neat ways they are using the cloud that they would to share? Best I've come up with is using it to access files that I use often that may get erased from my device with flashing new roms.
Looking forward to using it in more creative ways so thanks for any input you guys have to offer!
I like to store apps that you can't download from the play store or those complimentary paid versions like BetterBatteryStats and SetCPU. That way I can easily download them or share them with a friend. I store my wallpapers so I can share them between all devices (I change it a lot.) My most useful one is for BitTorrent. If you're out and about and someone says "Hey, have you seen this movie?" I always forget to download it when I get home but if you set up a folder on one of your cloud services that syncs to your PC you can set your BitTorrent client to pull new torrents from that folder. Basically, you download the torrent file and then upload it to the cloud. If you keep your computer on then it'll be ready to watch when you get home.

Keeping copies of anything I'm willing to lose or be seen by the man
I use foldersync to backup my photos and documents (among other things) to my cloud services like Sugarsync, gdrive and Dropbox. All my app backups from titanium go to Dropbox .
Cloud storage is extremely useful.
I guess I hoped there would be some more efficient and effective way to use the space... Something other than just saving stuff there... So far I have come up with scanning receipts and saving them to my Google drive account for later use if needed. It would be nice if other apps could access the information easily as well. Basically making it an extension of the tablet or phone's storage.

Depends what you want. I use evernote for receipts because of its amazing search and tagging options. Documents I share with work are in Sugarsync. Goggle drive is awesome for larger documents.
Unfortunately, I haven't found one service that does it all, so I split between different services depending on what needs to be done.

I guess he's implying that russian services cannot be trusted despite the fact it's the services of USA that spies on just about everything people do.
Thanks for the tip!
Sweet 100 GB...and for free. NSA can spy all they want in that cloud, same goes for the FSB. I'll just keep my "less" sensitive stuff on this cloud.
After I signd up the these 100 GB, I wanted to see if I could find something even bigger...well 10 TB from Weiyun did the trick. Althou it's a tad more tricky to get signed up, it is possible to do so (firsthand experience) A good deal of the registration and UI of the cloud storage is capable of english. The android software lacks I'm afraid.

Do you trust them? I have very close Russian friends, they don't even trust the most of Russian sites and IPOs and apps in play stores. Forget about all NSA craps for a second...it is sad but it is a fact that whenever you see anything like cloud.ru or mail.ru, don't you even give a second thought before you sign up.

I personally use these storage to upload firmwares; apps; music videos movies etc so i dont see what could be the issues of privacy there? Can you elaborate ? No one use these storage to store information about their bank details; adress or phone numbers etc
I am using it for few weeks and its quiet good for those who lack internal space for music; videos and nandroid backups etc

I love Samsung's Milk Music service, but I can't stand the bloat and useless gimmicks of touchwiz so I am a GPE user. So I have been missing Milk... Until now.
This should work on all phones Sammy or not and it gives you access to "explicit lyrics" it also allows you to save your stations between ROM flashes.
Step one:
Download the milk apk and Sammy account apk from my mega
https://mega.co.nz/#!tttlwbZY!KLXK4T0U13M_RIzP6qqQHPCmE9udRvfdPSKloIR7PAM
https://mega.co.nz/#!gw1A2RbL!RAEMH1pmvNQj596a6R2MoAso-YQ2BCYJhBgRu2l5Ehs
Step two:
Install the Sammy account apk, then the milk_music apk
Step three:
Log into, or create a Samsung account
Step four:
Open milk go to setting and hit log in
That's it and enjoy
