There should be an option 'Use on-screen keys' in Buttons section, turn it off.
Thanks !! It worked

You can always try AOKP roms where there is navigation bar available. It will be useful till you get your phone repaired. I had problems with those buttons (they weren't responding) so i installed an AOKP and activated nav bar option in it.
Here is one of the kind

Don't worry, this software nav bar is very customizable.
Thank if you find this helpful
i tried dis.. but didnt made it...

Looks like your power button got hard sticked in "Pressed" condition.
Try removing the stock cover and check the functionality of button.
And button remapping will be working only when device in fully booted.

I don't think so dude because sometimes if I press the key repeatedly the key do works and I can feel the key being pressed. If I take my phone to service centre they will atleast take a week
It was a hardware prob...
I got my pcb replaced by servicecentre...

Hi all,
not if anyone has been the same for a few months but I have problems with the power button . Never work the first time .
Is there any solution that does not involve replacing the switch ?

Yes.
- DoubleTap2Wake - slightly higher battery drain
- Proximity sensor wake - slight battery drain
- Volume button wake - no battery drain
The problem with "Volume Button Wake" solution is that it doesnt lock. And yes, you can use DoubleTapStatusBar, but its difficult to lock without looking and you have to be very precise.
Thank you, I must have rooted my telephone for use these applications? sorry for my ignorance

Greenify users can activate the hibernation+lock solution using the Google Search-like swipe up from the navbar. Works like a charm and you don't have to rely on xposed.

You can always download a Screen Off app from the app store, and use a custom launcher to bind it to a gesture (swipe up/down, double tap)
Smart launcher got double tap to sleep option, i love it.
I use Power widget to screen locking and voulme key to wake (xposed).
Hello Everyone,
I don't know if I am missing something, but since the button on the Blu Pure XL do not light up... I wanted to add the bottom navigation bar with the back home and switch button but I can't!
I have installed Google Now Launcher... Nothing.
I have Nova Premium... Nothing.
Any suggestions?
Thank You
My buttons never light up even if I use another launcher .. if I hold the phone a certain way in the light - i can see them. But I have a general idea where they are so I just press the general area. Most times I hit it .. sometimes it takes a couple of taps.

I am aware that the buttons do not light up... i am trying to add the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen (on screen, software), so I would not have to worry about the hardware buttons.

I have just done this so it is confirmed working. First off you need to be rooted and have busybox installed. And if you are rooted you have twrp installed so I would recommend doing a backup. Anyway download a app called soft buttons from the play store. Open the app, open menu go down to capacitive keys menu open that and click on disable capacitive keys. Once all the permissions stuff stops popping up on the screen open menu and click on virtual keys menu then click on enable virtual keys. Wait till all the permissions stop popping up on the screen then reboot your phone. Once your rebooted you will have virtual menu buttons and your regular capacitive keys will be disabled so you don't hit them on accident.
There are also options to reverse the process a far as re enabling capacitive keys and disabling virtual keys as I have decided to do because I'd rather have the 1/4 inch or whatever of screen that it takes up.
Hey,
My multitasking button got fuxked up and it making the multitasking screen and split screen to go up by it self.
Is there a mod to cancel the function of all the physical buttons?
I have a on screen buttons mod so it wont be a problem not using them.
edit: I was able to fix it by putting # before the menu key in the generic.kl file in system/usr/ keys(something)
now the only problem that remains is that the screen change by itself from negative colors mode to the normal colors mod.
is there a way to cancel it? in generic.kl or in other way?
Thanks
someone?
