Wifi was working fine with CM12.1. I wonder why its not working in CM12.0 Since 12.1 had crash issues, I flashed it back to 12.0 for which wifi doesnt turn ON.
I cannot flash stock ROM/firmware anyway. Can anyone help? Thank You.

I was using CM12.1 and due to crashes i decided to install CM12, and for easiness i flashed twrp recovery to FOTAKernal using TWRP Manager app.
But TWRP failed to install any rom, so i flashed stock firm (not latest) using flash tool.
Then using in fast boot mode, flashed Philz Recovery by command "fastboot flash boot <boot.img>"
got Philz Recovery and using that recovery installed CM 12.0
is this clear?
Did I had to install latest firmware before flashing CM12.0 to get wi-fi turned on?!!!

1. because of some "invisible" partitions that must be up-to-date... Most important is "modemst" partition... You never touch them while flashing!

Clockwork recovery touch with Loki for AT&T LG G2 (D800) Only.
TWRP recovery touch with Loki for AT&T LG G2 (D800) Only.
The only difference between official recoveries and this version is that Loki is built in to recovery.
THIS IS ONLY FOR 10d FIRMWARE. IF YOU ARE ON 10o THEN DO NOT USE!!!
You may want to flash 10d firmware. It can be found HERE with instructions. If you plan on using ROMs it is best to flash 10d firmware first.
Install Methods
Flashable Zip - Must have TWRP or whatever custom recovery already installed.
Boot into recovery and flash Recovery Zip file.
Manual Method - With no custom recovery already installed.
Must have Root first. Check HERE for root
Download the zip file to which recovery you want
Extract zip file to C:\
Open command prompt in root of C drive
You will need adb installed and properly setup in your environment variables. If not place the recovery.img wherever your adb file is located.
Type the following commands:
Code:
adb push recovery.img /data/local/tmp/recovery.img
adb shell
su
cd /data/local/tmp
dd if=/data/local/tmp/recovery.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery
exit
exit
adb reboot recovery
Now you should be in recovery.

I have not tested that way but I am sure you can. If you just need the img file than extract from zip file.
If you try then let us know how it worked out
Using flashify works like a charm. Just extract img file and flash using flashify. As a third alternative.

If you been flashing OEM modified ROMs on G2 the speed may have been due to the size of the ROMs.

Will I lose my twrp backups if I flash this clockwork recovery?
If not, then would I be able to restore twrp backups with cwm? May be a silly question but I never tried this and worried about losing backups.
You will not lose them until you delete them but I am not sure if you can restore twrp backups with clockwork.

Flashing was a breeze. Thanks.
Does this mount usb-otg? When I try "Mount USB Storage" nothing happens. I am pretty sure TWRP also does not yet support usb-otg. My hopes were CWM did.
Thanks
Adb side load is an alternative for Mount usb. Install Zip --> Install from adb sideload. Unfortunately this didn't work for me either. If it works for any of you guys please let me know the steps you followed. Sideload doesn't work in TWRP also.
In case of a soft brick either Mount usb or adb side load should help. Otherwise you have to go back to stock using Lg tools and start all over again.

Did you you use the latest CWM recovery which is ver. 6.0.4.3? Atm that's the only one able to flash aosp kitkat 4.4.
Hi guys. My problem is different from the OP's.
After flashing the alpha 2 I can no longer boot into Recovery. Now when I am in the bootloader and select Recovery the phone reboots normally into Android.
Also SU is requesting to update binaries, but the update fails from the app. Was thinking about flashing it again but without getting to Recovery it is not possible..
Cheers

When you fastboot flash a different recovery, it will delete the cwm recovery and overwrite the whole recovery partition.

Thank you so much! YOU ARE MY HERO
No problem man.
Download http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407579270. This is the twrp file. fastboot flash that.
Next, download https://s.basketbuild.com/filedl/de...ip&dluid=343be2b9-36d2-4262-8978-633fbd9b8565. This is the latest pacman ROM. Its pretty stable for me. If you would like a custom kernel, let me know.
You will also need gapps. Find and download a gapps package from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942.
Put both gapps and pacman ROM on your tablet or an sdcard to put in your tablet. Perform a wipe in your new twrp recovery and then install ROM and then install gapps(don't reboot between installs). Should be good to go after that.

So I installed the lateat CM12 nightly, wasn't really impressed yet and went to go restore my backup and once it's done restoring, it get stuck at the bootscreen animation. Just keeps going and going abs going. I used the latest cwm touch recovery as CM12 is not compatible with MultiROM. I would just flash the factory img back but my computer decided to it doesn't ever want to recognize adb avid fastboot on Linux.
Anyone know where I can find a flashable zip for the factory 5.0.1 ROM? Any help would be appreciated!
Try googling Nexus 5 factory image...

You're on a custom Rom. The ota isn't going to work. And you don't need to relock your bootloader. If you can afford to wipe your data download the 5.0.1 factory image. Extract it and use the flash-all.bat

Well, unfortunately, there isn't a 5.0.1 flashable rom available right now. If you can't get fastboot to work on your Linux machine you're kind of sol as you need to be 100% stock to get the ota to work. That means stock recovery in your case. Google recovery zip collection xda. There's a custom recovery flashable stock recovery there.

Did some more digging, got it install, and flashed the factory img for 5.0.1 and twrp recovery then superSU through twrp.

Get wugfreshes Toolbox. It has access to all factory images. Some people are not fans of "one click solutions" but this has never let me down.
There's a flushable zip on here also. Put it in a search in the app and you should come across it. It IS the full version.
Did you ever find out why the CWM restore led to getting stuck on boot animation??
Just ran into this last night. Tried restoring 2 different CWM backups and both got stuck on boot animation.
I eventually got a new ROM flashed. Going to try TWRP recovery I suppose.
I know I never had this problem with 4.4, this was the first time I have restored a LP ROM..

My guess would be; cwm hasn't been optimized for Lollipop. Cyanogen has just recently started working on 5.0 and they probably haven't touched the recovery too much. But that's just my guess.
