I'm not much of a dev but.. I have suffered while porting some ROMs ... The WiFi issue is the lib replace the lib file related to the WiFi from the stock lollipop ROM and it will have to work.. Good bless..

Did not happen. They have a completely different module WiFi (B / G / N / ac 5Ghz). I tried everything. If your unit has a source - you can build on their source code using only their kernel sources.
i have compare your rom with s028 ,it look that you have replaced the file to fix, i think only replace the file can not be repaired ,you better to compile the kernel

Maybe your phone has the /data partition with 11GB space. You must either flash a 8GB .pit file or manually extract files from system.new.dat in the ZIP file.

I've flashed XXUHOD4 but it doesn't work. Now I am using kernel from unofficial builds with this official nightly and Wi-Fi is working.
Wifi for me is working now on the latest build. Only thing left is the camera ?

Instructions:
Download zip and please use the TWRP recovery from this thread.
Do simple wipe (Factory reset) by using TWRP recovery.
Don't do advance wipe
Then flash the CarbonRom zip file.
Go back and select opengapps zip and flash it.
Then go to wipe and do factory reset.
Reboot and enjoy.

Installed the rom, but the system UI does not work, and other applications too, on principle proved to be a rom with a great future, play store does not install applications, the DPI is 160, I like, but unfortunately many FC in the gallery, contacts. etc. Great job.

I have not found any other bugs so far. Performance is good. Sound is good. Wifi and LTE works well. Fingerprint does not work. Using this ROM as my daily driver for almost 1 week now with no issues.

Cam quality is same as stock. I even find the front cam to be better quality than stock but that might just be me. I flashed the Note7 Camera btw. I was on CPL1 rom/bootloader before flashing this rom.

How did you flash this rom because in instruction the author has not mentioned to WIPE SYSTEM, DATA, CACHE, DALVIK CACHE, which we normally do before flashing any rom. did u wipe these four components or simply overwrote on the old rom? Its strange developer is not answering to such important issues. if a person has no flashing experience he will suffer a lot.

the rom works without any problems,..
in twrp full wipe with data wipe ,... http://xiaomitips.com/guide/how-to-root-mi-5-using-supersu/attachment/format-data-twrp/
then flash the rom, than pico gapps and then it works ,... i use it as a daily driver

Thanks nofx161, I have found the error , SIM I was using was Raoming SIM , local sim works perfectly fine for Data and Calls may be there is a bug in phone app related to roaming SIMs

volte works..ive been using for two days..dont like miui so this is the only option available till now..thankfully its fantastic rom though nougat, everything works as it should, magisk, kernel toolkit, gcam portrait mode all working
