[Unofficial] [Recovery] TWRP 3.0.0 For XOLO BLACK

Hello fellow BLACK owners, I know that HIVE has not got an update for a long time and is full of bugs but today I present you guys TWRP 3.0.0 for XOLO BLACK
TWRP 3.0.0 was announced on 5th February, 2016 and the changelog can be found here.
What works?
Everything, as far as I've tested it, everything works fine
Any Bugs?
I haven't found any! If you do, then please report.
How to flash?
Make sure you have unlocked your bootloader, guide can be found here.
Download, install and open Minimal ADB and Fastboot.
Execute adb reboot bootloader and your device will reboot into fastboot mode with the XOLO logo showing up. To ensure that your device is connected execute fastboot devices command and your device should be listed.
Download TWRP 3.0.0 for BLACK and unzip it and then place the "twrp-3.0.0-black.img" file inside the Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder which could be found at C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot
Now execute fastboot boot twrp-3.0.0-black.img (If you don't want to flash the recovery and want to test it out before you do) and the device will temporarily boot into recovery mode.
If you want the recovery image to be flashed to your device then execute fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.0-black.img
Now, to reboot normally, execute fastboot reboot
How to reboot to TWRP recovery?
When your device is booted up normally, you can go to recovery mode via adb reboot recovery command or using third party apps which offer reboot options.
When your device is powered off, you can reboot to recovery by pressing both volume keys at the same time + power key.
NOTE: The tutorial part was a bit copied from here, sorry, I'm a bit lazy hehehe.

Steps: Making bootloader unlockable

Adb commands for fastboot and flash twrp.

Steps to command in adb shell properly to fastboot and to flash custom recovery...let's begin

3-once the files are located in c:\adb go to start menu then search for cmd
4-Type in cd c:\adb then click enter
5-Type in "adb devices" it will show the connected devices it should be bunch of numbers
6-If you can't see them it means adb drivers for your device are not installed then install with adb installer

@ teteakholhring. you have done it right go head flashing recovery step.....now u unlocked the bootloader then flash the recovery
Thread re edited please check if u have doubts.
Hi
sorry about my poor English.
I am sure that I flashed magictricks.zip and ticked "OEM unlock"
and the phone is in fastboot mode.
And I typed in "fastboot oem unlock", it showed "Okay, finished",
then I typed in "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img", it also showed "Okay, finished".
Then nothing happen, my phone is still with stock recovery, and my data is stilled there, can someone give me a help?
I attached my cmd picture.
Thank you!
^^ I've read from other thread that right after you flashed the TWRP recovery image, you must start-up the phone in TWRP recovery first before eventually booting to Android.
I haven't unlock my phone yet though but I will once I see some custom ROMs available.

All your steps are perfectly right but once u flash the recovery disconnect the phone and switch off from the fastboot then u should boot the twrp recovery first otherwise system will reflash the stock recovery...
Do the recovery flash again and boot to twrp first...
It is not necessary that oem unlock will wipe your data so no worry.
Me too I'm waiting for available alternative roms to install twrp recovery ....I just flashed magictrick and it said that I have update the build.... Thanks sure it will be functional....

Jeah, this metod will not work to anyone, who have locked bootloader.
But, there is bug, when bootloader is unlocked (atlest in fastboot its shows that its unlockd), but realy its locked.
Why there are this bug? i dont know, but its happen when someone try with dload method to fix phone, or when with twrp recovery are flashing official nuget zip. In developer options there are turned of option "alow to unlock bootloader", and thats reason why cant flash with fastboot thease img files.
So, at the end, this method will work only in certain circumstances, and not for everyone who bricked phone, due this bug .

Quick question, I bricked my phone when I did a factory reset and deleted internal storage and accidentally deleted important files while doing so. I flashed a stock update from the warehouse and completely deleted the system instead. I then flashed Lineage ROM which reinstalled the system but now causes me to get stuck in bootup. When I installed Lineage ROM, I got the following error.

Download the FULL OTA files on the last approved update you were and flash via HuRupdater method.
If you are on the Chinese variant, you can flash stock recovery via fastboot and then download firmware from there on.

TWRP recovery menu not showing

hi, im new in this android arena and this is my first time using smartphone so please forgive my noobness.
i want to root my phone Xiaomi Redmi 5A and i follow some tutorial on youtube where he told to use Minimal ADB & fastboot, TWRP, lazyflasher noverity and lastly Magisk.
im flashing my phone using this command on ADB:
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot reboot
i guess this is it so im rebooting my phone to get into twrp recovery mode by pressing volume up+power but it showed xiaomi stock recovery instead not twrp recovery.

Is the TWRP flash successful?
Ensure that your mobile drivers are installed properly on your pc and that you've enabled USB debugging.
Now after connecting your device to the computer :
1)open adb
2)type adb devices, if it shows a serial number then proceed
3)adb reboot bootloader
4)fastboot flash recovery xxxx.img
After this, remove the USB and reboot to recovery by Holding the appropriate combination of keys.
If you reboot your device first, and then power off and reboot to recovery, you will still get stock recovery.
