[CM10] Doubts about sdcard recognition

Guys, i'm a new forum member, so i could not post in the CM10 topic.
I have a p6210 with official ICS rooted, and i'm thinking to install a CM10. I use my tablet with the sd card, which contains a lot of music and videos. I would like to know about the sd card recognition in CM10...could I use the sd card with CM10 installed?

Absolutely! That's where all my music/videos are stored. In CM10, the external SD is identified as sdcard1.

Why would you even think this is an issue?

[Q] swapping external sd and usb storage

Hello,first of all,i wanna emphasize that i have seen lots of threads like this but none solved my "problem"
What i wanna do is swap my sd card with the usb storage.
I have a samsung galaxy s advance I9070
I have the stock rom gingerbread and its not rooted but i can do it if its needed.
Is there a possibility to swap the memory?
I wanna swap it because i want the apps/games and files to be installed directly to the sd card

you can use link2sd find it on Google play and you should be rooted first

sorry for my late answer,i had a problem with the root,unstable kernel and random reboots.
Well i tried link2sd but didnt work or at least i didnt know how to do it!
Any help pls?

Hi. I am trying to modify the vold.fstab file on my P3110 using CM10.2 but I don´t find the correct lines. How I can Swap my memory?
Please, I don´t have so much memory. And I want to know what method I can use to swap on CM10.

i would say what ever the condition may be just dont do swapping it damages your sd card
my sd card { sandisk 16 gb died in this }

A question about external sd card.

Hello guys, after a bootloop i flashed my stock rom (xperia zr)
i wanted to know most of my apps were on external sdcard so is there any way to find out where are the apps on sd so that i can just remove the folder and free up space as its un readable now.

SD card and rom cook???

in install rom cook and now it dont read my sd card, noti say this device dont support this sd card but when i use sandisk sd card my s7 can read it (mine is kingston with same memory).
i have tried several rom cook but none of it can read my sd card
stock rom can read my sd card normally
pls help me :crying::crying:

Did you ask at the thread for that rom?
Maybe Sd card is bad , is your kingston Sd card encrypted?
Did you try to format it ?

ofc i formated it but it still the same, i already ask at the theard of that rom but no one answer
btw when i put my sd card in the other phone it still working

I should not make a difference , seems related to the rom and the kingston sd card, sandisk works...
