hi all,
i upgraded my magician to 2.03tx rom and now noticed that if my battery down to 25%, then i lost my phone function (receiving, making calls, send, receive sms, signal down, etc2)
im not 100% sure if i had this issue with 1.13rom, but anyone else having the same problem ? thanks alot
hi, i originally had the same problem, but mine was due to the old battery in my jam slowly dieing on me.. i bought a new battery and the problem went away..
I have this problem too when batery have about 75% when I want call phone turn off... I will try new battery...
i also have this problem. Mine turns off when i try to make a phone call under 24/20% battery. Guess i´ll have to buy a new one. However, i´m thinking about a Hard Reset once this battery is just 2 years old.
I have the same problem with WWE1.13 and 2.03tx roms (at 30% and 70% too). I'm waiting the new battery...
i have the same prblm mine dies at around 50% to 55%
reply
pls trying rom same this 2.01tx
Buy new battery.
I can confirm that with a new battery the problem disappears
Ziki is very right. I also had the same prob. Buying a new batter is the only and applied solution ...........
not dead black screen problem just battery issue usually in battery usage android os shows normally like this(image)
but sometimes it is 60 to 70 % and that battery drain too fast
is it a firmware issue ? or hardware ? my phone is 2 week old
this thing happen to me 2 time only
it happen to my phone at night on standby mode
and what all other aps( in the image) which is showing in battery usage it is all close(from task manager) but it shows it is using battery.
The battery usage being shown is the overall battery juice used by the apps listed since the phone is switched on.
Its basically shows the history of your battery usage and which app/system components have used how much % of your battery.
There's nothing wrong in that, its not a problem as you are assuming it to be and the apps shown there are not necessarily open.
ok thanks
i'll post in future if this problem come again
now android os usage is rising 40 + is it ok ?
Just enjoy the phone bro. Anyways u wont get more than 1~1.5 days ona a single charge except idealized conditions
I received my Galaxy this Thursday and didn't restart it at all until it drained itself yesterday in 14 hours.
After charing my phone to 100% and using it very very little during the day, it had drained itself completely after 14 hours. See the attached screen shots.
Android OS used 75% of my battery. It was completely useless.
Today after charging to 100% during the night it has been running fine. Currently at 68% after 9 hours with average use.
I've seen another thread about Android OS draining battery for SGS2, but I'm not sure there is a conclusion as to what processes causes it.
I suggest a restart if the battery starts draining too fast.
It's always like that with new smartphones. When I bought mine, battery time was just horrible - not even one day of ordinary usage. After few charging cycles (let's say after approx. 2 weeks) it got much much better. Now 2 days is not a problem at all.
Dont know how its works on custom roms/kernels but on stock 2.3.4 battery going down much faster with sd card on. If I put off sd card, battery life is extended. How no idea why.
lol i don't have any sd card yet but this problem occurs sometimes only
restarting works sometimes not every time i checked it
now what i found battery backup and drainage is ok in android phones wait for ICS 4.0.3(officially) lets see if they fix that battery bug. this thing should be solved in galaxy R.

Dude did you turn off Background auto sync ?
Your display usage is 2%, so it seems your phone was not used much by you. I feel you have turned on too many system background apps or something like that.
Do check that & update here if it solves the problem.

ya i close every application and clear ram eachtime before pressing the power button for stand by later i'll post image if this problem come again
I had this problem on stock rom.
I googled around and it seems that Samsung OS has some bug where after switching the wifi off, it still keeps consuming CPU resources.
Try flashing a custom ROM.
I haven't had this problem since the day I shifted to InfectedROM+ardatdat's kernel.

Hi guys.. i want to share my story with my xiaomi mi3 please listen i need some help.
I had my mi3 for more than 5 months, until suddenly closed and never opened again(i tried EVERYTHING) i send it back to service they fix it by changing the mainboard, BUT when i received my mi3 back it has extremely fast battery drain, my mi3 cant handle more than 2hour screen on time(with cleared installed rom without any program/ also i tried many roms clearly installed) i have tried many times calibration apks i have tried full discharge/charge battery cycle, every time the battery life was the same...some times the battery falls from 14% to 10% immediately..so anyway i said is the battery and I CHANGED the battery with a new one..
GUESS WHAT..again screen on time maximum 2-3hours WITHOUT using it a lot only some sms/phone calls..
WTF i have to do now? what can cause the problem whaaaaat? when i bought my mi3 the battery life with heavy using it was 5-6hours screen on time, and now faiiiill..
what can i do? please tell me what i have to CHANGE again..
Maybe it is the antena that draining battery? because some times i have bad signal so is trying to find signal..(before many months when the phone was brand new i didnt have never problems with my signal)
what more can i do?

Dear XDA Members,
I'm having some issues with the battery of my Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. About 2 weeks ago, 2 phones in this house, a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and Huawei Ascend P7, started (quite simultaneously) to have battery issues. They both are on the stock rom and are not rooted. To sketch the degree of the issue: the Huawei had about 40% after 7 hours standby with 3 minutes screen on time. The Samsung lost 65% in one night just being idle.
At first we thought it were the phones that were having the issues, so we returned the Huawei to the shop (about 40 kilometers away). The people of the shop called yesterday, saying that the phone is lying in the shop for over 3 days now, still having 40% percent of battery. This made us think it was something with the antennas here in the neighbourhood.
In the mean time we had already bought a new battery for the Samsung (an original Samsung battery), and I have performed a factory reset. The battery still drains quite heavily when airplane mode isn't enabled. However, last night the Samsung still lost over 15% with airplane mode enable and all recent apps killed.
I completely lost track about what the issue can be. To me it seems that the fact that the phones started having issues at the same time is caused by an external factor. But in that case, I cannot explain the 15% overnight battery drain on the S4 Mini on airplane mode with a new battery. Should I return the Galaxy S4 Mini to Samsung to have it looked at and fixed, or should I try some other things first?
If anyone wants some more information about the issue or the devices, I'll happily provide it.
Thanks in advance!
Note: It is not my intention to root the S4 Mini or push settings to the limit to have 0% battery drain, I just want 1 or 2 days of battery life again, depending on the usage.
Edit: There are also a OnePlus One and Galaxy Gio being used in our house, who do not seem to have severe issues. This confuses me even more about the external factors (antenna failure?) that might be draining the battery. We all have the same provider...
There are many ways to save your battery life:_
some of them are as follows:---
***Go to recovery and clear cache this will help improve the battery.. Use clean master from play store, which will disable / stop unwanted apps, clear app cache.
***Try using Greenify
***I recommend GSAM battery monitor app from play store. It's very easy to understand and is very good at locating battery issues.

In settings>battery check your mobile network signal of last night and see if there is any app that is sucking your battery.
You should try greenify but you need root access.
Thanks for your answers. If the problems do not get solved I will indeed try some of those apps (I've used Greenify earlier, I know it's great )
I've monitored the apps draining the battery, and in fact there aren't many apps that use a lot of battery. It's mostly the screen or mobile radio active, which makes me think it's something antenna related.
I've spoken to my neighbour who is a customer of the same provider, and he indicated he has issues to since a few weeks. I mailed to my provider and see how things turn out
Thanks for your tips!

Yeah i also think the problem is in network quality, you should try another sim for some time and see the difference.
