OK a question for you all, I was looking at the market on my Samsung Galaxy S for Samsung apps and I came accross the Media Hub app, now I currently have Media Hub on my tab but that was taken from the Galaxy S but in order for it to work I needed to change the build.prop.
On the market there were 3 different Media Hub apps one for the Galaxy S, one the T-Mobile tab and one for another phone. I tired to look for it in the market from my tab but Media Hub was not listed. I went back to my Galaxy S to try and download it and try to move it to the tab via the microsd but when I download it it installs on the Galaxy S and there is no way for me to move it.
Has anyone been able to get the official Media Hub for the tab installed on the tab or is there any way to get the app found on the Galaxy S market and install it on the tab?
I hope this request is not too complicated and you guys understand. Your help is very much appreciated.

I rooted and removed some bloatware from my s4 and I think something may have taken away Samsung billing in the process. I can download free apps but if I try to download a paid app it tells me "Samsung Billing will be downloaded and installed from Samsung GALAXY Apps to complete this purchase" followed by "Error. Product does not exist in this store. (4002)" I'd like to avoid having to reflash the phone if I can avoid it so does anybody know if it's possible to simply replace a lib file or download Samsung Billing as an apk?
Not rooted but same problem
If anyone could shed some light on this I would be very grateful. I have the Note 3 trying to buy apps for the Gear 2. I get the same error. Anyone?
I have fixed the issue in mine by reinstalling some previously purchased apps. It redownloaded Samsung billing of its own accord when I did without an error this time.

I managed to purchase some watch faces that were previously not available to non Samsung devices. Have Samsung note allowed those with non Samsung phones to buy apps?
I had to register a credit card with them, but it was easy.
Using lion gate watch face at the moment, was £0.98
Seems like a good news for non-Samsung users Which phone are you using?
Seeing paid apps in the gear app store on my LG V10 and have access to prevously bought stuff as well.
Edit: Tested purchasing as well and worked fine.

Were you able to able to register your credit card on Gear App itself or did you have to do it somewhere else online?
I have it paired with a Huawei Mate 7 and can only see free apps with no apparent option to add any credit card details.
Thanks.

I managed to register with the Samsung gear app store via the app. Didn't have to register anywhere else.
I had to do it on my computer. I kept getting error messages on the phone.
In my case it never asks for a credit card. I have even tried creating a new account on a PC. It must be geo locked or something of the sort.

Can you download the gear manager in playstore? In my case it started working with payed apps as i could download the gear manager from playstore. As long i used the app offered here in forum i only got free apps.
Sadly there are still free apps i can't see in store, like ntv, kommot or golfcard.

Hi Javan, I always downloaded the gear manager app from the play store. In the meantime I finally got a reply from Samsung and they basically said that paid apps are not supported in my country (Malta).
My problem is that I don't know at which stage this "country check" takes place.
1) Is it when I am creating the Samsung account? In this case I would be able to use a VPN workaround when creating a new account.
2) Is it when I download the Samsung gear app from the Play store? In this case I will need to root my phone and use a market unlocker.
3) Is it when I am accessing the Tizen store? In this case I have no idea ... it would be too cumbersome to workaround this [emoji22]
One way or another there has to be a workaround, I just want to avoid rooting the phone as much as possible.
If anyone has any ideas or managed to access paid apps in the store from a non-supported country, I would be forever grateful if you can share your solution.

Hi guys.
1 week with a gear sport paired with asus zenfone 3 and I can't access any paid apps from Gear app... Just free apps showing to me.
Tried everything, reset, another phone (Nexus 5) and nothing.
Paid apps just show to Samsung phones?
hi
i have just bought a S3 and i paired it with my iPhone 7
it's works pretty fine but i miss mail, reply to sms and so on.
so i looked into the app store and there are nearly Nothing in there..
i tried to connect the Watch to the honor 7 of my gf and there i can get much more apps!! like working hue apps, email, more faces and so on.
how can i get all this app from iPhone? and why the store is different? the device is the gear and not the phone !
i tried to download it from the honor then reconnect it to my iPhone but it restores the Watch before pairing and i don't know why but apps i downloaded from the honor doesn't appear in the "my apps" section on the galaxy app store from the iPhone
any idea how to solve this problem?
thanks
This problem cannot be solved from your side.
The problems are:
1. Some apps require a companion app, which only available on Android, in order to work. iOS will probably not have these as Samsung does not provide any SDK for devs to work on.
2. Samsung use manual filter for apps. A filter is like this: Gear S3 & iOS devices, S7 Edge & S3 BT and so on. If apps do not include this filter, they won't show up on your device. You can ask devs to include this filter if the apps are standalone.

Hello,
As it reads in the title I have the Samsung Galaxy SM-G900F with LineageOS 14.1 on it. And I'm trying to pair it with my new Gear Fit 2. I wasn't able to start the Gear Manager App from the PlayStore because of my OS so I edited the build.prop file in my system folder. That helped, but afterwards the Gear Manager App wanted to download the "Gear Fit 2 Plugin" App from the PlayStore which was "not compatible with my device" for some reason. The same thing happened with the Samsung Accessory Manager.
So I downloaded the gear manager stub, as well as Samsung Accessory Manager and Gear Fit Plugin from some link I found on this forum. Now when I try to connect my Gear Fit 2, the Samsung Accessory Manager shuts down and it just trys to connect but it's getting nowhere. I'm so frustrated right now. I even started thinking about switching back to stock firmware on my S5. But I definitely don't want to do that.
Can someone here please help me by explaining what Apps I have to install in what order to get this going? I would be very thankful for the links to those Apps, too.
Thanks,
Pixelloni

I found this article:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s2/help/samsung-devices-running-cm13-12-1-pair-t3290076
It's for an older version if CM, but should hopefully work for you.
By looking at the results, seems to be an issue with all brands of rooted devices having issues with Gear Manager.

I tried to use an older Version of Samsung Accessory Manager. That did the trick for me. But thanks for the reply anyways!
