[Completed] Is my phone unlocked or not? - XDA Assist

I have a rooted Htc One M8 with a custom rom (bought from AT&T more then 2 years ago), with an AT&T sim it shows a lot of networks when you turn it on and ask you to choose one, I tried swapping to a T mobile sim card and it asked me for network unlock pin. Is it unlocked?

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Unfortunately there is very little information on your variant of the note 4. I would try asking your question here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/noob-friendly-question-t2866810
Good luck and welcome to XDA.

Well ... you can ask the previous owner ... if available.
I guess not.
There is not much about this device/model on xda.
I found only this thread: How to root Galaxy J1?! by MiHawkBeast.
Maybe you can register on xda and ask there.
Or in the [HELP THREAD] Ask ANY Question. Noob Friendly. by immortalneo.
Hopefully someone there has a clue what to do.

[Completed] Help needed to buy sim network unlock code - samsung galaxy core prime

My friend have got Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G361F) as a gift. It is bought from UK and have sim network lock in it. Device have got bricked when trying to root it. So i flashed G361FXXU1AOH4_G361FLUX1AOG1_LUX firmware downloaded from sam mobile through odin and its working now. Still the sim network lock is there. Now we need to buy an unlock code for this and all the sites asked country of origin and carrier. Is it still UK or Luxemburg? Also pls reccomend a trustworthy unclocking service if you know.
Thank you for using XDA Assist.
I see you asked your question in the Android Q&A forum.
You should actually be asking your question in your device specific forum located here
As far as recommending some one for the service we do not do that here on XDA, but you can always read what other users have done in the section.
Good Luck

[Completed] htc one m8 unlocked verizon edition, sim card no service after Skydragon Marshamallow

Hi Team,
I have a HTC one M8 Verizon LTE Version.
Its unlocked and S off. I had recently installed a custom Lollipop GPE version ROM on the system and everything was working fine.
Recently went through http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/development/rom-sd-4-0-sense7-port-sdkernel-t3062378 on Marshmallow update on HTC One M8.
And performed the Flash today, Everything is working flawlessly except the SIm card. it stated to remove the Sim card after flash and I removed it and rebooted.
Still after multiple reboots, it gives no service. tried turning on and off Airplane Mode, restarted network settings in Settings-> Backup and recovery -> Network Settings reset.
Still no go. Any thoughts guys
Regards
VT
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
Did you flash the latest rom file linked in the post? Did you flash the firmwares listed below the downloads for your device?
For further questions, please create a XDA account and post them in the Verizon One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
SIM unlocks are completely separate from actions performed by rooting, or installing custom ROM's, unfortunately. Also, you may find that if you get an unlock code, it will not work while running said custom ROM (I personally ran into this problem before). Samsung's are horrible for unlock code prices, but if you shop around you may find a good deal from a trusted source.
Ideas for that can be asked through the following thread, where your device experts are found:
> Samsung Galaxy Note 4 > Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [NOOB FRIENDLY] Ask the question!
Please note, you will need to have an XDA account to be able to post there.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
