I know A LOT about iOS firmware and jail breaking. I just recently moved over to android and I am absolutely clueless. It seems that I have bought a non popular phone called a "Moxee X1" and there is no information about this phone on the internet. Could someone tell me more about this phone? I'm on android 4.4.2 and I'm wondering if I can root it.

CrackBerry, but a bit restricted - that is, even links to beta firmware were removed. Nevertheless, it has a very active user community.

Hi... i'm just curious what do people use to develop the apps for the Windows mobile on this site, specifically for the htc hd 2... i'm not delusional i'm not trying to make some crazy app just something to experiment with, etc... where can i download the compiler, and where are some tutorials on it? I have been thinking about a thing.
As the hardware and software to some extention is pretty similar in many phones and brands, is there then some kind of a combined XDA effort to do the different tasks when trying to make costum roms for new models ??
I just think it would be a shame if there over at eg. HTC Legend is sitting 20 NAND experts, or at Samsung S is 25 bootloader specialists.
Or if the best DES-crackers in the world only are reading HTC Desire HD.
So my question is:
Is there at XDA some kind of a combined effort, some form of sharing information?
Perhaps the XDA-Moderators could set up such a system if it is not here allready.
(I have not been able to find such a system here)
hello, i bought a blackberry playbook and i cant activate it the serial number is blocked or something blackberry technical assistance wont help and was to bypass this so i can activate this device?
As this you posted this in the android section, most people cant help. The playbook doesn't run android, only android apps inside an emulator.
As for your question, I think the best place to ask this would be the crackberry forums. They have way more knowledge of stuff like this. They've helped me with my playbook quite a bit.

Hello XDA I'm freddy I'm a huge fan of the effort and quality of the developments you guys provide and today I need some assistance , I recently bought a verizon galaxy note 2 sch-i605 running android 4.3, sadly I was scammed on my purchase because when I got home the phone was blacklisted even though I used swappa to check the esn before purchase :/ , anyway I'd like to unlock the phone to use it with trac phone or simple mobile but I have no idea what programs to use or if it's even possible, I thank you for reading my issue and I appreciate any help that I could get because I know you guys are the best in the Biss
