Hi all,
I've a XT1033. Running Anroid 4.4.4 (Stock)
When upgrading to Android 5.0.2 (OTA) the phone's screen (connected to charger) during the upgrade went black. Wit no error message whatsoever.
Now I'm stuck with a hard-bricked phone. Seeing the QBOOT_USB interface in device manager and getting;
"FAILED (blank-flash:sdl-transfer-image:sdl-hello:invalid HDLC frame)"
Is there really no fix to resolve this issue? We "must" wait for Motorola to come with the signed bootloader for Android 5.x?
Same Problem with me.
and in the service center they are saying to change the motherboard which costs a lot.
and my phone is out of warranty.
plz help me out.
Same here... Maybe check this?

I am having the same problem, I take a lot to restore my device even if it is with android from scratch and everything clean, does not enter or in fastboot
Me too..
My brother's XT1033 has bricked the same way and the blankflash prints the same error.

So, i was trying to upgrade to 5.02 and accidentally flashed a xt1032 firmware (BRASIL_XT1032_5.0.2_LXB22.46-28_cid12_CFC.xml & GPE_5.1_XT1032_LMY47M.M001_CFC.xml) I used the "firmware flasher by Alkalinorap" and i got several "Image is too large"
OK so i can see the problem here, i flashed a wrong firmware version, now i've tried to return to stock but get the same resutls. (
I've tried these stock firmwares getting no results:
XT1045_AMX-PE-SS_4.4.4_KXB21.14-L1.54_cid12_CFC_1FF.xml
RETUS_XT1045_4.4.4_KXB21.14-L1.56_cid9_CFC.xml
XT1034_FALCON-RETUAWS_5.0.2_LXB22.99-36_19_cid9_CFC_1FF.xml
On my cid info it shows 41.1A(sha-8048ae,2015-04-10 14:30:28)
The cell phone was bootloader unlocked before flashing for the first time
It shows: Device is UNLOCKED. Status Code 3
when trying to boot it vibrates and then it stucks on "warning bootloader unlocked" screen
I'm downloading
(Moto G LTE) RETUS_XT1045_4.4.3_KXB21.14-L1.23-4_cid9_CFC.xml.zip
to see if there's any chance
Thanks in advance

Its hard bricked we all are waiting for 5.1 mbn-cn files now u to joined the group..
Aah crap *ironic high five* :highfive:
Thank you for your message!
hey guys.
so recently i installed an app called "kingroot" which helps enhance performance by rooting. Today my device ran out of battery and when i connected it to a charger, bootloader screen automatically appears and shows: 'boot-up failed'. I have not installed any custom ROM and the device was running stock ROM (6.0).
To be honest, I am not a developer and have no clue about this. all options shown in bootloader lead to a dead end. The battery won't charge and connecting it to my pc wasn't helpful either. All I want to do is run my stock rom, which doesn't seem to be happening.
Device: Moto G 2014 (dual sim)(India)
Need help Urgently.
thanks
Oh...S ,no no one answer, and how about now?

I threw that phone into trash can.
Hi
The Moto G 2013 in 4.4.4. I had rooted 6 months ago suddenly entered in bootloop on the Unlocked Bootloader screen yesterday, without me doing anything special!
I still have access to fastboot, so I have attempted to reflash the stock rom. But all flashes have failed (remote failure).
Note that I may have deactivated the USB Debugging since the root.
Is there any way to fix this situation?
Thanks
do u have any custom reovery like twrp?
