Which bootlogo or animation boot did you use? Is it a custom boot animation or a stock one from other tablets? So I can send you which one.

That thread is for 4.1.2 or 4.3 firmwares I think. I don't know if its compatible with our note with 4.4.2. Is this the same as your screen when it boots " http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425693 " look at the 2nd screenshot . On the thread you post its not clear if bootlogo is part of boot.img(kernel). If it is them just install your stock kernel. Or if you wanna make sure re install your whole firmware via odin.
I just saw you post in that thread how did it work?By the way just to be sure back up you EFS folder in your sd card and your PC.

Ok! In the thread you post tanker 32 mentioned that boot logo is found in" Param.bin " which I check is part of bootloader. In official German firmware I have for N8000, param.bin can't be found, but in the leak version here " http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2730188 " look for " BL_N8000XXUDND5.tar "or here " http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2762418 " look for "bootloader" ,you can download it and check that they have Param.bin.

I'm not sure mate, but according to that thread you post its in the param.bin ,which I just check using root explorer in " dev/block/platform/dw_mmc/by-name/PARAM " , then by using tar viewer of root explorer I found there is a logo.jpg inside the size is 51.71k. Can you check on your if it has the same size as on mine?Maybe we can ask expert about this if we can extract that param.bin and I can share mine with you to try to install in yours if you have N8000. By the way did you try to install the stock bootlogo here " http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51276027#post51276027 " ? My theory is the picture you install is big, maybe you can try to install back the stock.

Thanks for the effort. Boot logo is working, but bootanimation doesn't work (goes all black during boot). Idk, maybe is because of my atempt to change my bootanimation few weeks ago when i've replaced those 3 files with other .qms extension, which messed up my bootanination, + Liveboot from chainfire, which i can't get rid of it anymore. I'll try again after a full wipe and new rom.

Make sure that files have correct attributes. If the overwriting files doesn't work, try to delete them first, copy them and set attributes.

You can simply flash stock S7 splash from OP. Logo is taken from original param.bin
Or https://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/s7-edge-sm-g935d-fd-stock-splashscreen-t3382945

Here you go. Zip by @yash92duster :good:
Anyone has an idea, why,
when i flash the bootlogo default s7 it is fullscreen
But as soon as i change something in the image and add it to the zip and flash it, it is not fullscreen anymore
i am using exact same size (i just paste another picture in the original and save)
i tried changing resolutions but that only makes it worse, i just cant seem to make it fullscreen at starup phone if i changed something in the original picture which is hard to understand for me as i didnt change anything to the resolution.
Maybe i need to use another program to edit (i am using Paint. Net)
Thanks for this flash logo, I just wanna request if you can add boot logo with secured by knox. I really appreaciate it. Thank you.

Fix for Huaxing Displays

I found a fix for Huaxing Displays panels issue that persist in Redmi note 5 pro.Follow the steps below
.
Step 1: Download the latest miui official stable rom and the custom rom that you want to install.
Step 2: Extract the zip file and copy the boot image from both the roms. (Dont get confused with which one is which. Make different folders for each boot images)
Step 3: Download latest Android Image Kitchen for Windows. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2073775
Step 4: Unpack both the boot images using AIK Tool
How to https://youtu.be/W9iozjCCyPY
Step 5: Replace custom rom z image file with latest miui z image file and repack it. (Rename the new boot image file to "boot" )
Step 6: Place the new boot image in the custom rom folder and then re zip the rom.
Step 7: Flash the rom.
Nb: Use latest twrp recovery that supports Huaxing Displays. Tested on Pixel experience and PE Extended, should work with other roms as well.

You don't need to do that anymore. Just flash the latest derp kernel zip right after you flash lineage (or any other AOSP based rom), and your screen will work as normal.

Need not do that any more. Just use the latest derp kernel. Flash it after rom instalation.
Can anyone tell me what huaxing panel is?
what is hauxing display?
I also experienced a bug that was very annoying every time I installed the ROM pie, that is, the screen suddenly locked itself without being touched at all, and even then it happened randomly, if back to the ROM Miui everything is normal, is there a solution for this bug ..
and those who are having problems in recovery??

I made and flashed multiple logos in Android 9 OneUI 1.1 and had no problems but I updated to Android 10 OneUI 2.0 last night and I flashed some new logos and all but logo.jpg changes and shows when booting ? I made custom lpm.jpg, svb_orange.jpg and logo.jpg but only logo still remains as the original "Samsung Galaxy A20" ?

Thanks for the idea but going backwards right now is out of the question for me. I just wanna know how and why does the logo.jpg refuses to change ?
What's so special about this A40 logo that you made , and why should it be flashed through TWRP and not Odin ?
Try those and report I realy very tired to make those modded BL files

Very nice work.
Is working withe resurrection ROM. I replaced the paramBin on the stock rom BL und rezipped it, flash via Odin; go back to TWRP and let's go back to resurrection. Just had to reload custom Kernel and Magisk.
After I flashed the file it was successful, but when i reboot back it's stuck on bootloop.
Oh and btw my device's model is SM-A205W
