I'm uploading to mediafire at the moment, a few minutes of patience please
And at everyone that tried this, let me know if it works I created this thread since threads in cross device section have not working stuff and aren't clear on how to install etc for Z1 users...
I get error "Sorry, but camera common has stopped" when opening camera app

My camera app opens but after flashing zip there aren't any changes. It didn't add any camera apps
EDIT: I've installed timeshift earlier (30fps version). Timeshift video should be in camera app or as normal app?

I can't get it to work on my device either. I have Xperia Z1 with .136 rom, deodexed with superusermod installed. I did everything as per instructions and also tried pushing libs to system.
I have 4K and Timeshift video showing up on my apps list. Whenever I click on either one of them I get "Error: camera not available"
I have also tried clearing data for camera and other apps.

Well, you can use any file explorer with root access to move them, I use root explorer, but it's a paid app. Bot sure which free apps are good though. Just search for root explorer in play store and you'll see some apps

Hmm ok, damn, I must forgot something, I played with libs and files so much that it's kinda hard to remember which are the ones that are needed. I'll reflash clean stock and flash my mod, then take logcat to see what's wrong.
Or if you can provide logcat that would also be great

i have used it for one week , no bugs on my side , infact its better on power management than stock XL firmware ,, i noticed when phone isnt under heavy usage it even suspends one CPU , this greatly saves power , and it wont make the phone lag , ihave test asphalt 8 , pv2, battle run , dead effect , all good , plus memory issue has been fixed , so it wont show only 2GB ,.. all social apps work .. only thing that isnt included is fm radio , but i use tune in radio for radio..
ON MY SIDE NO BUGS TO REPORT .
Please take off the caps, and the bright colors. There's no way I'm reading it like that. Keep it formal.

Actually this is kinda messed up guide.
The easiest one is after unlocking bootloader just flash boot.img from fxp zip and then enter cwm and flash cm. No need to do so many steps as u wrote

my method is safer , precautious , plus u can relock bootloader incase Sony releases cool stock , or u need to relock for warranty purposes .. hence the back up TA part , also NOTE THE TITLE , its for noobs , this is to enable anyone to get kitkat . its detailed down to the last bit , i even explan how icons look like . ... other guides have too many gaps that would leave a noob to custtom ROMS frustrated.

there is no root for z3 android 5.0.2 itself,
you must rooted your device in android 4.4.4, then did a pre-rooted ftf then flash it with flashtool, there are alots of tutorials for creating pre-rooted ftf here in this z3 forum, google it .
thanks
Yeah so if anyone can give us the exact steps you took to get ViPER4Android FX working on our device, it would be much appreciated.
Running 23.1.A.0.726
Sent from my Sony Xperia Z3 D6603
1. Make backup
2. Make sure you have root
3. Download SELinux mode changer
4. Run it and set SELinux to permissive
5. Install Viper4Audio as usual
6. Reboot
7. Done
Don't forget to untick everything in the Sony Audio FX Settings. F.E. when using "S-Force Front Surround" Viper will not work.

hi there again...
I Just done installing lollipop with the ftf you told me, everything seems to be working right, at least when it comes to the user interface and the touchscreen seems to be okay... I still havent tested the battery or the camera because like I say I just finished the flashing and its night right here where I live, Im gonna test the camera tomorrow to see how it works and Im also be testing the battery.... anyway just wanted to say Thank you for the ftf you help me alot---
Edit: things I Have noticed so far...
- The icons seems to be way too big for me...is there a way to change the icon size? because i havent found that options on settings...
-Vibration on the capacitive buttons its also too strong that you can even hear the vibration even when the phone its in your hand.... is there a way to change it??
-Now i Just have 3.55 GB Avallable on the device when i used to have 5GB free every time I reset the phone.. again is this normal??
and Finally Inferior Light Bar is not working right, just turns on in 2 different colors, white and purple, and when I make a call just shows a white stripe, doesnt change the color acording with the theme you select... is this normal too??
well I know there are too many questions but like i said Im new on this and dont know too much about the flashing process and I would really apreciate if you could help out with this I would really grateful....
thanks in advanced
You'll need to give it a upto a week for the battery life to settle down after Updating so it can go through a few cycles of charging and discharging. As for internal memory don't forget art runtime takes alot more room up then dalvik ever did mine hovers between 2gb-2.5gb free space in internal memory but I also don't install/play games on my phone. Icons long press on home screen then option on the right to make smaller I think the vibration force was turned up slightly on 5.1

yeah i heard something about the ART architecture, that takes more space on the phone but in return, apss work faster an better...
I Dont know if its just me or is because I just Flashed the phone and that i gotta give the phone a couple of days to settle down to start work properly, but I also noticed that apps take waaay to much time to download and to get installed on the phone. Now, I know that with the ART arquitecture apps take more time when you install them in comparison with Dalvik... but is that also the reason why they take too much time to download? or it has something to do with the Wifi?? it might be coinsidense but right before i flashed the phone, I could use chrome normally, it loaded sites with ease, and now it seems to take forever to load a site when i use the internet or when I download something... again, it might be just me or it might be because i just flashed the phone but I just want to Know if its normal this behavior on the phone...
and also... is there a way to go back to KitKat in case I dont like the way Lollipop works?? and if so, the flashing process is the same?? thanks for your help I really apreciated....
Downgrading is the same flashing process but you must Always wipe clean the phone I.e user data and cache options in flashtool you must do this when going from 4.4.4 to 5.1.1 and from 5.1.1 to 4.4.4 to avoid bootloop. You need to give it a few days at least can't say I notice the difference with apps loading also if you flashed 18.6.A.0.175 there are a few bugs(most have fixes or workarounds) that are fixed in 18.6.A.0.182 there's no way I'd go back to KK and if you want xposed or to deodex it you'll need to use either gauravs deodexed z2 port or linuxct's z5 style rom(uses gauravs deodexed port) this is the only way on 5.1

I'm gonna include BETA-SuperSU-v2.67 flash able zip with it. But, I also need a recovery and I don't have the flashable one which supports 5.1.1. I'm already read this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63726662&postcount=169
But, its a script installer. So, if there's any suggestion for it, plz lemme know.
I'm using a locked D2306.
Use multi recovery for lb M2 there's a flashable zip version

I'm gonna include BETA-SuperSU-v2.67 flash able zip with it. But, I also need a recovery and I don't have the flashable one which supports 5.1.1. I'm already read this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63726662&postcount=169
But, its a script installer. So, if there's any suggestion for it, plz lemme know.
I'm using a locked D2306.

+1 To Adrian's Answer, you'll need to attach to the PRF the flashable version of MultiRecovery in order to get a full recovery once updated. Pick it from here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24369303960688489
Not for me linuxct, I'm still using NUT'S xzdr

No, I just said that your answer was good, I'm not forcing you to use it haha
I've edited it so that there're no confussions
So I moved from Xperia Z3C to Nexus 5 and now I`m happy with 7.1.1 Mokee on N5. And one thing I`m missing is InCall UI from my Xperia. Is it anyway to get InCall UI of Xperia on my N5??
P.S- I tried putting PhoneBook.apk (found at apkmirror) put system/app, and it`s not working at all. Always showing force close.

thanks man.
But I am not familiar with these stuffs. I hope somebody could make it for our N5.
The Sony UI probably needs the Sony framework to work which the N5 doesn't have.
Only way to get it may be to flash a XOSP ROM.

But the above guide is for AOSP and CM based rom. So, dun need Sony framework.( I think so ).
It's as close as we'll get on the N5. It's a replication of the Xperia interface but much more than just theming.

Did you flash the latest TWRP? Tried a full wipe of the system, data, cache?
Edit: I just flash the latest XOSP and XGapps onto my N5 with no problems using TWRP 3.03. ROM's dialler looks like a stock Google dialler.

I am ok with XOSP rom. The only thing I want is Sony Dialer and Sony InCallUI
Not sure how you could get the Sony dialler without the Sony framework.
I used to have a Sony phone and I wasn't that impressed with the Sony launcher. I much prefer a very simple interface.
