[Tool][Windows] M8 Digital's Android App Tool - ADB and Fastboot made easy! - Other Tools & General Discussion

Hey everyone! I'm an italian computer engineering student and my friend @Valerio-M8 and I are here to present you the M8 Digital's Android App Tool : a multitool for all of your Android needs!
We wanted to design a tool that could help people who wanted to use ADB or Fastboot commands and maybe were having issues trying to work out how to use them or just wanted to speed the process up.
Our Android App Tool takes care of all of the "behind the scenes", writing and sending commands for you, with lots of features like (more to come) :
MULTI DEVICE SUPPORT
DEVICE NAME RECOGNITION
SEE WHAT'S HAPPENING, THANKS TO A TEXT AREA

[MOD][addon.d] ADB and Fastboot Host for Android

These mods install adb and fastboot binaries for ARM processors. This enables you to use an Android device as the host machine rather than a PC or laptop to run adb and fastboot commands on a connected device. Some devices like the Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 come with adb, but not fastboot. You can check for these binaries in /system/bin/. I have made separate zips in case your device already has adb. These mods also includes addon.d scripts.

What is addon.d?
On some ROMs, like Cyanogenmod, there are scripts in /system/addon.d that run during a ROM update or flash. They can backup and restore system apps (like Gapps), or perform many other functions. This mod includes an addon.d script, so the mod is not lost during a ROM update! If your ROM doesn't support addon.d, this mod should still flash properly, but you won't benefit from addon.d.
Tested and Confirmed to work on:
Nexus 5
Nexus 7
It should work on many devices. Let us know if it works!
Note:
You will need OTG support to get any benefit from this, so your device can act as host when another device is attached. Be sure to use the su command before adb or fastboot.
Install Instructions:
- Boot into recovery
- Flash Install zip
- Reboot
Downloads:
Install-ADB-1.0.zip
Install-Fastboot-1.0.zip
Changelog:
Code:
1.0 - 02/13/14
- Initial release
Credits and Thanks:

DISCLAIMER:
This mod involves editing system files. Use at your own risk! Also please don't forget, before you report ROM related bugs in the ROM developer thread, you should remove this mod to make sure the issue is not caused by this mod!
Recovery missing
Can you help me because my recovery mode is missing. It happend when i tried to flash clockwork recovery mode that isn't meant for my phone. Mine is a Karbonn A108. If I could only install fastboot then I could Flash my phone. When i try to get in fastboot it says fastboot is missing.. please help I'm in a crisis. :crying:
Is this safe to use in Lineage 17.1?
Is it installable using exposed framework?
Does it solve this problem:
I have a TV box Scishion V99 Hero. It's rescue Adb mode presumes a USB connection. I cannot find how to set tcpip access in rescue mode. Yet the box has only female USB ports. The big flat connector. So I can't connect it to a PC but only to my phone.
I want to use my phone as an Adb host when installing ROM into the Scishion box.

[TOOL][WINDOWS] SkipSoft ULTIMATE Drivers & Adb/Fastboot Installer

What is This?
Yes I know there are tons of drivers Installers around but this is more..
This is a Standalone version of the drivers installer from the SkipSoft Unified Android Toolkit.
--DRIVERS--
There are a selection of driver packages you can install to suit all devices (google, cwm universal, samsung and oneplus). There is also lots of help and information on what to do if the drivers don't work properly. A test routine/checker is available which will attempt to detect the plugged in device (and reboot to fastboot mode and back on google/nexus devices) to verify the drivers are working. Tools are also included to remove unwanted drivers if a fresh start is needed.
--ADB/FASTBOOT--
The Adb/Fastboot installer (Android Debug Bridge version 1.0.36) can install System-Wide (for all Users on the PC) or for the Current User Only. This is a very simple installer and means you do not have to download the complete SDK from google. You can also easily open a command prompt to send commands to your device.

This really is the the most comprehensive driver/adb/fastboot installer available.
Changelog:
1.0.3 - Added adb/fastboot latest version check at startup and download if needed
1.0.2 - Added command prompt option to menu
1.0.1 - Fixes to adb/fastboot installer
1.0.0 - Initial release
Mark.
**RESERVED**
Hey there. Thought I might ask here.
Recently updated to 7.1.1 on my Nexus 5x and now fastboot is not working. Have spent most of the day trying everything I can find on here and installing or uninstalling drivers on both my laptop and desktop with no joy.
Tried all the options within your software but no joy. Adb works ok but fastboot just will not work.
I realise this is not an issue with the software but wondering if you may know of something else to try.
36 hours now on an unrooted phone is the first time in years
Thanks
Just in case this is some use to you with your Toolkit the workaround for the fastboot issue was sorted as shown in the post below.

INVERTED! Some new custom logos (requested by people in several posts)

Hey guys, it's me. Facuarmo, again! I know you almost see me even in the soup . But I'm here to bring you something nice that I've just made (and tested) for our devices.
I've made a custom bootlogo in black background and a totally inverted one (manually made: inverted 'Moto' logo first, then inverted 'powered by android' and filled the white background with solid black colour to prevent aliasing).
Black background: logo.zip

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Totally inverted: logo_inverted.zip
How to flash?
From recovery:
- Download logo.zip or logo_inverted.zip
- Put in phone and flash like any ROM.
From PC:
- Download logo.zip or logo_inverted.zip
- Download and install Motorola's USB Drivers: http://www.motorola.com/getmdmwin (Windows) or http://www.motorola.com/getmdmmac (Mac), if on Linux no drivers are required, just install fastboot and you're good to go.
- Download and install fastboot ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979 ) or enable platform tools from Android SDK Manager.
- Unpack the .zip file you've downloaded.
- Open a Terminal (Linux / Mac) or CMD (Windows), point your terminal to the folder that you've unpacked the .zip file, then type:
Code:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
Once done, type:
Code:
fastboot reboot
And you're good to go. Enjoy your new boot logo .
Wanna do one by yourself?
Check this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/themes-apps/app-motorola-boot-logo-maker-source-t2848667
Which device to pick?
None, just open the logo.bin file, make changes and save. Hope you want to share your creations here, in this thread or in your own. But, please, give me the link, I love those customized boot logos .
Ask for any other logo if you want, I'll try doing my best :highfive:.
Krewella custom Logo. Nope, I'm not an artist. That aliasing!
Download from the attached .ZIP file.

Disclaimer:
I'm not the one who build this method I just wanna share the only way I found to downgrade this phone to android stock. I'm not responsible for any brick or bad use you may have with your phone.
Requirements:
* Bootloader Unlocked
* Motorola Drivers Installed on your PC.
* USB Debugging Enabled on your Device
* A Moto G8+ XT2019-2 Compatible with this firmware version
(All your information and data will be erased from your device. Please make a backup before proceed).
Your can download the firmware build without bloatware or pre-installed apps from my one drive storage here
After decompressing the file your can read the "DOHA" .txt to see all details of this android 9 build. Also you can right click to "Flash ROM" and "edit" to check all command line on the main file.
The last step its connect your Moto G8+ on fastboot mode to your PC and double click to "Flash ROM.bat" a CMD window automatically open to flash your device. DO NOT CLOSE THE WINDOW. Wait until finish and the device will be downgrade to android 9 stock.
If everything was fine the CMD window will automatically close and the device will be restart.
Additional Notes:
* With this firmware version will NOT work some moto gestures.
* The system goes more smoothly and apps open more faster.
* Battery life improved a lot more compared to android 10
* You can still receive OTA updates
