10" Tablet (already have Nexus 7)

Hey all,
I'm an avid Nexus fan and currently have the Nexus 5 and the latest Nexus 7.
Now I like the 7" tablet but sometimes I find it a bit small, it's great for reading ebooks. But for browsing and Netflix a bigger screen is nicer.
Now I have been looking @ website of a local shop and there really isn't much choice if you want a capable tablet with android.
The Nexus 10 is old (and to be fair it look ugly), Xperia tablet has big ass bezels.
So the only option that remains is the samsung tab 4 Pro 10.1, tab 4 10.1 and the tab 10.1 note or an Ipad air.
I understand now why so many people have an ipad, there just isn't much choice.

Should I purchase Surface pro 3 or wait for Surface pro 4?

Hi guys,
I'm was about to purchase surface pro 3 but then I heard the surface pro 4 should be announced at the end of this month then I heard there won't be much difference so I could go for surface pro 3.
What is your suggestion?
Thanks
I'd suggest waiting if you can. If there isn't much difference then you'll still get a cheaper Surface Pro 3.
wait until surface pro 4
Hi
i own both surface pro 2 and pro 3, but right now i'm typing on my pro 2. it would be better to wait until new version releases so all the prices will drop down significantly.
and base on my experience with surface pro 3, it is not such an impressive device as you think, mine is i5, 128 gb version. surface pro 3 i5 is the best one among pro 3 versions, but it gets hot and i hate the fan noise too. i love my surface pro 2. it is a little bulky but it s dead silent and never gets hot.
and about battery life, i never got more than 6 hours light using from pro 3 and i dont know how people achieve 8-9 hours from their devices. its battery life is as good as pro 2. and pro 3 camera is the worst camera ever, never bother scanning documents.
anyway wait a little more and see for yourself, i think surface pro 4 will be awesome in any aspects. battery life, heat and fan noise and camera will be fixed in new version. ( i hope)

Thanks for your help.

Should I buy this phone today or has it become obsolete? And other queries...

I am planning to buy a phone but on a tight budget. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro seems to be a good choice, but its almost a year old. So is this phone still a good choice, or has it become obsolete by some other device? Another choice would be Realme 3 Pro, which is slightly newer, but I'm not sure its on par with Redmi Note 7 Pro.
P.S. Can I play PUBG with HDR setting on this device? What's the highest PUBG graphics setting you have been able to play comfortably on this device?
P.P.S. Is there a fully functional Google Cam mod availble for Redmi Note 7 Pro?
The thing with Xiaomi is that they release a new phone every month (35 total phones in 2019) and their phones get cheaper every time a new one is released. For example i bought the 7 Pro for 275$, a month later after it was 250$, and now its 180$.
The phone was overhyped and overpriced because the main selling point of the phone was the camera which is just fine, as 80% of other phones.
What I'm trying to say is that the Note 7 Pro was "OK" for like 1 month, then a new device came out with better specs and the same price. Its still a nice phone but then again even cheaper phones are good nowadays.
If you have the money go for a Note 8 Pro, or K30...or hell even a Poccophone is way better and cheaper
I owned note 7 pro and my wife realms 3 pro. I like realms 3 pro than 7 as photos are better in it.

No Android alternative to iPad 6 Mini

Hi folks!
Couple of weeks ago my girlfriend bought an iPad mini 6, I've been using it from time to time and I got some thoughts about it I'd like to share with you guys.
-It's a powerful piece of hardware, very comfortable to transport, hold and use.
-I would never buy anything with IOs, to me it's just an inconsistent an limited SO that I can't get used to.
-There's absolutely nothing with Android that's similar or could compete against the iPad mini.
Do you think we will ever see any product from any Android tablet that could be in the "8 inches" market?
I've been asking myself the same question for a while now. I used to love the 7-8" size, as it's a perfect "reader" size (not too small for this like even the biggest smartphones/phablets, and not too big&heavy like 10+ inch devices).
Quite some time ago, I had Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite, which was a solid 8" gadget. And later on, I tinkered with Chuwi's Hi9 Pro and Hi8 SE. Not sure if there's anything newer available at the moment out there.
The only tablet I found that could "compete" with the iPad Mini 6 is the Lenovo Legion Y700
But still 8'9" of screen, enough to loose my appeal for it
