[Q] What is ZSD option in camera settings for JMP v8 Jelly Beans?

Can anyone please tell me about this...?
What is the effect when we turn it on?

Bro it's digital zooming method which will not properly work.....

Battery and Proximity issue
Hi everyone,
I have installed JMP v 8.0 custom ROM in my MMX A110.
The ROM is pretty good but i am facing mainly two issues.
1. Proximity Sensor Not working though previously it was working with stock ROM. I read about replacing boot.img file but not sure how to do that.
2. Battery stuck at 99%: When I charge the batter while te mobile is on it stuck at 99% as soon as I switch of the mobile it reaches 100% but again if I start my mobile then the indicator turns red and battery goes back to 99%. I tried using battery calibration aand also tried to clear battery stats from advance panel but all in vain. The proble still persist.
Kindly provide me the solutions for the same.

ZSD has been provided for assistance, which generally stabilize the shot taken by the camera.

So, no one really knows what is ZSD option? I googled everything...

The settings menu has an option called ZSD, which is a type of image stabilisation feature, and it actually manages to work quite well. When turned on, slight movements are very well compensated by the software.

Which kernel should I install on cm11 in order to have double tap to wake functionality (like lg g2)?

Take a nandroid backup from custom recovery,
Download the kernel from the link given in thread
Boot into recovery, flash that zip from recovery.
If you need some more elaboration. quote me next time when you reply! I'll get a notification then!

I did. All ok. Then I installed that trickster app and I just changed doubletap2wake. Working fine.
What governer and io should I put? Some balance between performance and battery?

Phone needs to stay awake for d2w to work ergo battery consumption will be higher.

[Q] Carbon Rom floating notification settings?

Anybody know how to change floating notification's setting in the newest carbon rom nightly release?
I want to put some application notification to a "blacklist"
I'm using internet speed meter and touchpal x. So everytime I type the IME notification always appear taking some space up on the screen
I know that the floating notification can be turned off but I want it to be turned on but without those notification from those apps I mentioned before. Is that possible?

Settings > Apps > Tap on desired app > Blacklist > Blacklist from Hover.

Unfortunately I don't think you can, at least not yet. The duration it appears on screen is affected by how much you're tapping on the screen and if something is in immersive or not.

Uninstall it and reinstall. If the problem still persists go into recovery and try wiping caches. If it still doesn't work after that then I have no idea.

Hey, guys.
This is not a BEST ROM THREAD. Just out of curiosity, I wanna know what ROMs you guys use and why? Also describe what kernels and mods you're using? It's just a fun little way to see what works for different people.

For example, I am using SlimKat with 907 MB RAM (thanks to @Android-Andi), Pure Performance X, L Speed and ViperFX. What are you guys using???

omnirom 4.4.4 official ..just for good performance and no lag.....

You could try PurePerformance X and L-Speed to improve... well, performance, and you could try ViperFX to drastically improve your audio experience...

I'm using Slim6 because I wanted a simple ROM, as I use my tablet mostly for web browsing and videos. It's the ROM which suits me the best.

I'm using the CM11 ROM by @Android-Andi because this ROM is the most stable ROM i've ever used ! Also Pokémon GO works well on it . :victory:

Great, but the latest CM builds by Andi (the unified ones) for espresso3g crash on setup. I've tried.

Does Xposed and ViperFX work on it? Do you use a custom kernel? If not, what can I use? And also, do you have OC? And finally, does Pokemon GO work well on it? Sorry for so many questions....

Have you noticed that when you have the tab plugged in it shows that it's not charging? IE: If you pull the drop down menu down it says charging where the wifi/blue tooth icons are, but if you turn to the screen via the lock screen or go to battery in the menu it says "not charging"... This is the ONLY thing I find wrong with that rom otherwise I'd definitely run it.
I've tried so many thing and it still doesn't show charging even though IT IS charging..... Like this rom a ton but that's the only thing that is driving me nuts about it.
Looking forward to seeing if you have seen the same thing.

I believe is for expressowifi only (3110). Android 6.0.1

I want to dl the one you have and try it. Seems weird. I did a factory reset-clear cache delvak/ factor wipe.
Installed perfectly and the only gripe is when it's plugged in and you go to the battery menu it says "not charging" even though it is. Pull the drop down menu and the tiny icon shows that it's charging.
But if it's on the lock screen it doesn't show charging (even though it is)

I've got two (both OEM), both give the same thing.
Soon as I wipe the rom, install SlimKat or anything else I plug it in and it says charging. Wipe it again, install CM11 and then get the "not charging" even though it is.
I'm going to fiddle with it tomorrow.

Not stable one .. i tested on my g4 plus not work perfectly ... Sometimes when i tap on sensor to go back home its not work...
