Ok so my z998 android is rooted, and I installed a custom rom for it called something like "unofficial cwm z998" and I flashed it using the flashify app then i rebooted my device, but as when my device was booting back up, it showed a android logo with some blue lines spinning in its belly, and there was a blue bar at the bottom thats suppose to increase or something, but the bar stop at about 25% and wont increase any further, I even went through a whole day at school and when I came home, it still was in the same spot. I also took out my batter and plugged it back in and it booted back up in the same screen and the bar at the bottom would stop at the same spot which was about like 25% of the bar filled! I even tried booting into recovery mode by holding power+vol up, and it still boots back up into the same screen with the android logo and the bar at the bottom! Please tell me there is still hope for my phone, because everything went wrong as soon as I tried to install that custom rom!

Hi, thank you for using XDA assist.
Looks like there is no dedicated forum for your device yet.
However there is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can get better help and support if you try to ask over there.
Good luck.

I was trying to change my boot animation. I rebooted my phone. everything was showing correct until the boot animation. as soon as it was time for boot animation, it just showed a black screen. the sound was still coming. the touch and everything is working but it is just the display. first I thought it was on the whole screen but later I accidently opened an app and tilted the phone. as soon as I tilt it, the right half of the screen shows but the left half won't. Please help experts.

model: sm-t320 wifi only, just flashed cm13 nightly, i believe it was the one released on the first of February 2016, the tablet was working okay sometimes a bit laggy but that is expected with the nightly not fully developed or whatever. i installed and am still using cm13 on my tablet but i installed it on my friends tablet which is the exact same tablet, color and all, and this happened: it shut of by itself and when i tried to turn it back on it wouldnt. i plugged it in and the battery charging icon turned on but it was only the icon with the loading circle image in the middle. so i let it charge for a good six hours and during that the screen stayed on with the same image. when i unplugged it, after about two seconds the screen dimmed and started flashing on and of as if there was a loose connection. then it just shuts off. when it is unplugged i cant do anything, (turn on, download mode, recovery) the screen just stays blank. when i have it plugged in i can access the first boot screen displaying "samsung galaxy tab pro" and it will not go any further. i can also access download mode perfectly. i cannot access recovery mode, it just goes straight to the first boot screen. i tried flashing the stock rom and was unsuccessful. either because the computer was not supplying enough voltage/amps to keep the tablet running or it just simply would not boot. the flash was successful each time i tried on odin but the same issues happened on the tablet each time. i did not install Gapps because he just wanted to try it out quickly and maybe keep it or go back to stock if (that helps). i believe that is all i know. please help me!

Hey all,
I was hoping that someone here could please offer some advice that I'm having with my tablet. Using the Note 10.1 GT-N8000
So at the weekend I had an issue where the tablet just kept freezing on me, screen wouldn't time out, clock wouldn't update etc. So after several reboots I figured the only thing for it would be to wipe it and start again. So after getting to recovery mode I wipe the cache and then eventually did the full wipe thing. Booted up after that as expected like brand new so I did the whole reinstalling my apps and what not thinking everything was a-ok. So I came back to it a lil later and it's off (so i think the batts just died on me) plug it in and put it on charge and boot up and it won't get past the 'Galaxy Note 10.1' screen and just cycles in a constant loop. I tried to then go to recovery mode again and whilst the holding up and power gets me to the screen I would first see the android logo with the energy belly (no menu options appear) and it would instantly switch to an android logo on it's back with a red exclamation mark icon atop it, before returning to the boot loop. I've tried to get into Odin mode which i can successfully do.
I've looked at some threads here about similar issues but tbh with some terminology used I'm a bit unfamiliar with so was lost on them quite easy, my knowledge on these issues being rather basic.
If anyone could offer any assistance I would be most grateful
Thanks
Flash stock rom from sammobile viaOdin.

My phone worked normally the day beforeļ¼Go home after get off work and turn off all connections, WiFi/mobile data/Bluetooth/location, charge for two hours, receive/make a phone call in the middle, and shut down normally before going to bed without any software upgrade changes and unplug the charger
Then today when i turn on the phone,it shows the goole logo normally, then stuck on the screen of"system is starting"
i've tried go to twrp to clean cache which is not working
after few restarting now the phone is totally blackscreen when the google logo animation is done.
even i tried enter the safe mode.the only difference is the phone shows "safe mode"in the bottom left, nothing i can do but press the power button
The problem I infer is the google launcher is not working, maybe i'm wrong
Any help would be great,thx
What you see is Android's BSoD ( Black Screen of Death ). You get this when Android system got corrupted - for whatever reason.
My recommendation: Re-flash phone's Stock ROM.
