New launch YUnique is 100% similar to YUphoria except sceen size, camera, internel memory and ram, and offcource!! the battery capacity !!
#YUnique has the capacity to support NOTIFICATION LED & OTG then why not #YUphoria??
Its screen density is also better than #YUphoria.
The hardware and the chipset is same in both of them then why so much difference ??

Hi guys
i just bought 2 devices for my friends :
Lenovo s660 - runs 4.2.2 - 4.7" , 1/8GB, 6582 quad core, battery capacity 3000mah
lenovo a806 - runs 4.4.2 - 5", 2/16GB , 6592 octacore ,battery capacity 2500 mah
both of the owners are saying that the battery drains really fast even in save mode and in really basic use (some browsing, whatsup, calls without games or heavy use etc) which is not reasonable - i ordered it because of the battery capacity and the quality of lenovo.
Do you have any idea what could be the solution ?
Thanks in advance.

For me quite a big difference is if I'm using both sims or just one. Now when I'm on one I'm at 53% and have already 11d nad 14hrs. I use a Wifi a lot, but I don't play games at all. Mostly browser, RSS reading, email, viber a phone calls.
The other thing is that when I got the other day to 35% the battery got to 2% in a matter of two hours. So I guess it's not showing very acurate percentage...
recently i have bought yu yureka bu micromax
- 1.5.GHz Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 Octa Core Processor / Adreno 405 GPU @ 550 MHz
- 2 GB RAM
- 5.5 Inch HD IPS Touchscreen Display
- Dual SIM Support
- 13MP Primary Camera With LED Flash
- 5 MP Front Camera
- 4G LTE
- 2500 MAh Battery.
- Customizable Cyanogen 11 OS
the phone been heating alot.. the CPU temperature is normally 45C and it raises as we use.. when gaming it goes between 60-65 C and when i run benchmark tools or play heavy games over an hour the temperature goes above 70C the top i observed is 77C..
isnt a processor supposed to shut off at 70C? as for safety reasons till it cools down?? how much this snapdragon 615 processor can get the most? will it burn or burn other internals?? please some1 clarify my doubts! i even noticed many people are facing the same kind of issues with samsung and moto phones which runs on octa core processors.. is it a hardware related issue or a software issue???

No It will not burn any material. It is not the PC Processor, but it seems that your device heats a lot, may be it is a manufacturing defect. Try asking others with the same phone. And don't overheat your phone, dont play games for hours and hours
Hit thanks if helped

i dont play games that long.. with this device its hard to play for more than an hour.. 90% of the ppl having this device facing the same issue but most of them seems to be not caring.. some even said the snapdragon615 can withstand up to 100C is that true??
the customer care ppl said...

I can't find any temperature values on the qualcomm website. Just write a email to qualcomm for first hand iformations Phone's kernel works with thermal throttling, means depending on the actual cpu temperature the cpu clock is lowered to protect the cpu from overheating. If your hardware works as it should, you can't overheat actual processors by using I suppose. If you can find a custom kernel you probably can set own values for thermal throttling. In any case you should try a kernel tool e.g. Trickster Mod or Performance Control for setting up the cpu. If you think its getting too hot, just deactivate some cores or lower the cpu clock, your phone will still be fast enough for all your applications.
Edit: which customer care people told you about the issue?

70-80 Degrees isn't a "Worry" Moment, It's actually quite normal for a Octa core to reach that high what do you expect? Since a phone doesn't have a Fan or something like a PC, so it relies on something else which needs longer time to cooldown.
My Nexus 5 using Quad Core reaches almost the same Value (65-70).
Remove the case if you have one since a case will have your phone increase in temperature too.
thanks.. i already hve done it.. i bought a flip cover which i used only for an hour... i worry only when it exceeds 70C.. i can feel the heat near the cam.. it gewts hard even to hold it. i heard meadiatek processors doesnt heat only qualcomm processors does. is it true??
is there any other phone with the same kinda heating issue? like over 70C still survive??

They've got no email addresses only office locations https://www.qualcomm.com/company/facilities/offices
then i guess only the experianced/developers in this forums can help me.. all i wanna know that if its safe to have such high temperatures ( 65 when gaming and 75+ when running benchmarking-stress test) is it ok with this qualcomm anapdragon 615 processor... some said these processors can withstand upto 100c and 90c is the cutoff temprature unlike the old processors.. can some expert who is experianced with developing any apps for any quad/octa core processor out there please help me. i just want this much info only
Hi !!
is there any chance to set charging speed mAh value on Moto G.
on my old Ace2 i got a kernel settings app to change mAh from 100 - 900 mAh.
slow charging better for battery, fast charging only when u dont get enough time <- thats the backgroung why i want to change speeds.
what about Moto G !?
im on CM12.1 nightly.
Matthias
Couldn't find such an option in motog, but you can use kernels that support USB fast charging.

Hi,
I got an Alcatel OneTouch Pop C7 with current specification :
Brand Alcatel
Model One Touch Pop C7 7041X
Also known as Alcatel Pop C7 7041X, Alcatel OneTouch Pop C7 OT-7041X
Operating System Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
CPU / Processor MediaTek MT6582M / ARM Cortex-A7
Processor Clock / Cores 1300Mhz 32bits Quad-Core
RAM Memory 1GB LPDDR2
GPU Graphical Controller ARM Mali-400 MP2
Internal Storage 4GB (2GB user available)
External Storage Until 32GB microSD, microSDHC
The phone works great but for unknown reasons the battery don't charge.
I even changed the battery and the Charge jack but still the battery don`t get charged ...
Curiously, the phone shows that the battery is charging
Any ideea on fixing this...could this be an software or hardware issue?
Thank you for your assistance.
update
I used SP Flash tool and upgrated the phone to kitkat 4.4.2 and i putted to be charged...
1th test with phone running..
The battery have 2% at that time...and after 12h the battery was 47%. Normaly its charged in 3-4h
2th test with phone shutdown..
After 2h on charging battery stayed at 10%...but the phone shows that is charging..
My conclusion is that the the phone have some hardware problem...

hello guys
my xperia z3 has cpu overheating problem in some custom roms. i've checked everything like battery voltage and temperature, cpu temperature and usage.
when i record some 4k videos after 2 minutes cpu reaches over 85 degrees celsius or device reboots while doing it. even while web browsing and watching 720p videos and up, the cpu reaches 75 degrees and up. logcat and last_kmsg aren't helpful to find what exactly causes heat. tried reinstalling the rom several times, wiping cache/dalvik, installing the rom without g-apps or magisk, pulling out simcard and sdcard...
non of those helped me.
these roms are ok without overheating problem:
all stock roms
carbon rom 8.0
lineage os 16
pexorom 1.0.0
these roms have overheating problem:
lineage os 17.1
carbon rom 6.1
the other users of these roms don't have overheating problem. only me!
i've talked to lineage os developer and he said lineage os 16 and 17.1 have same kernel
also carbon 6.1 and 8.0 have same kernel.
now i'm completely frustrated.
note: also the compass sensor died under repair.
guys do you have any idea what is wrong with my phone???
I suggest some steps that help to recover your device from overheating
1.Freeup space on your internal memory and maintain at least 3GB free space on internal storage
2.Remove the tight case that leads to holding the temperature
3.Uninstall rarely used apps
4.Reset your mobile after backup your data
These steps definitely reduce your device temperature

thank you for the advice, but i experience this problem even when one app is installed.
if i install only a camera app after flashing one of those 2 roms and record 4k with it, the device gets too hot.
if i stop doing it, then my phone gets cold. i already tried all of those solutions but they were not helpful.
there's no such problem in stock roms, i can record 4k videos or do heavy tasks for long in them.
The xperia z3 uses the snapdragon 801 , a flagship from almost 7 years ago , that produces a lot of heat and doesnt have the incremental steps on performance that more modern socs have , by this I mean that instead of going from lets say 200mhz doing nothing , then to 700mhz then to 1ghz and so on , it just "boost" into the highest possible clock speed , this makes it snappier but gets hot . With that said , given that you are using a custom rom you could tro regulate this steps with cpu profiles and governors , I think you must have root to use the apps that manage this , but some roms have this controls built in .
You could also try to put it in regular battery saving mode (not the ultra saving mode) this will limit the cpu power draw and may help you if you dont want to do tha manual configuration , turning off gps and sync will help too.
Cheers
