we all know we have a forum for this, but to make all apps and user reviews in a single place which can help the beginners to get their problems solved!

I know im a noob, but why can't i post on sgs3 verizon synergy rom thread?
Because it is a development thread.
So do i have to get permission or something?
You need to post some more before you are allowed to post in development forums.
In the meantime,if you have a question about a ROM or other development issue, then post your question in the Q&A forum of your device.
Gotcha thanks
Because you're a new user, I suggest you read the threads stickied at the tops of these forums but especially the ones I've linked here.

Hey all I'm looking for a Stock rogers Evita 1.94.631.3 RUU is this available anywhere?
Also I've got cm-10-20120908-NIGHTLY-evita.zip currently installed on my HoX How do I flash cm-10-20120910-NIGHTLY-evita.zip to get the benefits of the update but without loosing all my current rom?
Thanks for any light you can shed.
You should really search first before asking something like this... plus this isnt the place to ask questions, we have a Q&A section for that.
Spoonfed version: Try here.
If you bothered to read the sticky threads at the top of this forum, you would know not to post questions here. And you would also have answered your own question on the RUU.

I already reported the thread to the mods to have it moved. You can do so also. That's the proper way to move a thread, not making another thread.

Please refrain from posting question threads in the dev section. This area is strictly for development purposes only. Click on the lion in my Sig to read the rules. In the future, please post all questions threads in the Q&A section. And remember to always search the forums before creating a thread of any kind. Thank you.
To everybody else, please don't answer to misposted question threads, it only encourages the behavior. Thank you.

pLEASE DELETE THIS!!
You just posted exactly the same thread in the q&a section. It's against XDA rules to make duplicate posts, let alone duplicate threads. I'm asking mods to remove this.

Don't create multiple posts for the same question.
Question/support issues don't belong in the General section.
I already answered your question here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433422
This is one of the reasons why cross-posting is a bad idea. You jump around to another thread, while someone is helping you in another.

I'm hope this is the right forum to post
First question I would like to start a forum/thread based on the location of members ( example, XDA Allentown PA ) just don't know where would be an appropriate place to start the thread or if XDA would add a location based forums section
That way members in a location can find and have discussions and create meetups with others in the same area

Hi Robshr from Allentown
First off I should tell you that XDA Assist is not a good section to post this, as this forum is only for showing newbies their way around (and you don't look like a newbie to me ).
Second, I highly doubt that the xda admins would create an off topic forum section based on location. Different sections are created to organise the forum, not to create various OT and fragment the site further.
If you want to make your own thread then the Off-topic forum is probably the best place for it. How long it stays open for remains to be seen.

No worries. No need to delete this thread, we can just close it. :good:
Take care.
If you Google it, you'll find so many hits and so many good roms, so, my question for you is, what is the best rom for our device and why?
Present your answers with the reasons and if possible, links to their posts/sites.
I actually like Ambassady's S8 port alot because of battery durability and smoothness. (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/development/rom-s8-port-s7-s7-edge-ambasadii-t3619551).
Hi you should place this thread in the Q&A - Thread so this part of the forum keeps clean.
And there is a nearly similar Thread concerning your question -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/help/best-custom-rom-t3609971

Hello CyberDrag0n,
I've moved the thread in Q&A.
For your information, only moderators can move threads, so if you create a thread in the wrong section or if you see misplaced threads by other members , please use the report button at the bottom left of each post. A moderator will handle it.
EDIT: also, as said by @Rhonin86, there is a similar thread already, so you can search in the section if there is a similar question before posting.
Thanks.
