I know im a noob, but why can't i post on sgs3 verizon synergy rom thread?
Because it is a development thread.
So do i have to get permission or something?
You need to post some more before you are allowed to post in development forums.
In the meantime,if you have a question about a ROM or other development issue, then post your question in the Q&A forum of your device.
Gotcha thanks
Because you're a new user, I suggest you read the threads stickied at the tops of these forums but especially the ones I've linked here.

I'm an experienced user, i've been using roms on my old 32A Magic phone for a while never had to ask stuff really, but now I have a problem with the new CM7.2 ROM and I really wanted to ask something in the proper thread but since I didn't have the previleges I have to open a thread and post stuff to reach to minimum number of posts. Sorry for inconvinience dear mods.
can post now a lot of posts?
just to reach the 10 min? Hope so. Don't wanna spam but I really need this issue resolved/answered.
any mods there??? please answer
First off, starting threads to complain about the 10 post rule is just silly. The mods will most likely delete it and you'll be back to 0.
Secondly, if you have a question then just search the Q&A forum for your device, and if it's not already asked then start a thread there.
Personally, I hate people asking questions about ROMs and the like outside of the original dev thread. I think the 10 post rule should only apply to creating threads in the dev forums, not posting.
But I digest.
As I said - the Q&A forum is apparently the correct place for this.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
thanks for the replies.
can you please provide me with a link to the Q&A thread? I searched Q&A Magic and it didnt come up with any thread other than the developers, on wich I cant post yet. Thanks guys.

Wow - there's no Q&A forum. How bizarre!
Anyway, search and (if needed) create a thread in the general forum instead...

I agree..it's pain in the arse..i understand the reasoning but when you've worked in IT or have some semblance of knowledge it's very frustrating and makes no sense when it's a comment about a thread it should be within the thread...i shouldn't have to jump thru hoops first to show that i can post...it surely can't be worse than some of the other crap i've seen people posting..esp when it's already been answered earlier in the thread...that's just lasy...or dare i say it..stupid
I just want to talk and ask questions about a rom I am using but I have to post 10 post to talk?...

You DO NOT need to post in the Dev forum just to talk about a ROM. There is a perfectly adequate General forum and a Q&A forum which you can use.
Believe it or not, XDA was not created for you. It is a Development site for mobile phones and the Development forums are there for discussion of Development, bug fixes etc - not for you to say "Thanks" or to ask pointless questions that just clog up the thread and stop people from finding genuine information when they need to.
Reported.
As far as your thoughts for the 10 post rule:

Its not a massive restriction and to provide 10 useful/helpful posts is not hard.

The first things to be made are to read and still to read before making something else.
It's necessary to go through the forums which concern our device(s) to avoid posting useless questions, read and still, to take notes on a notebook, to know its terminal.
This some threads that you can read:

yes, right here. read second post from Agressorek, thats what you need to know.
Just talk about what you like and want to share with us. When u read a count of 10 posts u can then post in the developers forum.

Just keep reading the QandA and Discussions forums, and then posting there until you get 10 posts.

When you signed up there was also a video which you were supposed to watch which explains some of this stuff.
First (and most important) thing to do though is use the search. Then if you don't find anything, search again. Just about everything you can ask has been asked before, including why you cannot post in the technical forums and what you can do about it.
pLEASE DELETE THIS!!
You just posted exactly the same thread in the q&a section. It's against XDA rules to make duplicate posts, let alone duplicate threads. I'm asking mods to remove this.

Don't create multiple posts for the same question.
Question/support issues don't belong in the General section.
I already answered your question here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433422
This is one of the reasons why cross-posting is a bad idea. You jump around to another thread, while someone is helping you in another.

wHen i can get full privlage of xda , like posting my thread anywhere , & reply to others thread?
Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Yes, when you get full privileges you will be able to create a thread anywhere, and you will be able to reply to any thread that you have access to. Please note though that there are certain rules for posting. For example, in a development section, only development threads are allowed to be created there, so that's threads for ROMs, kernels, mods, etc. The average XDA really only should ever create a thread in a general section or in a q&a section. Also be careful when replying to development threads, because techncially only posts that contribute to the development of that product actually belong in a development thread.
