[Completed] Note 3 (SM-N9005) root - XDA Assist

Dear All,
Hoping someone can help.
i wanted to post the the Auto Root Thread here, but unfortunately my login permits me from doing that.
will the CF Auto Root (link) which is based on Android 5.0 will work on an Android 4.4?
If not, where can i get the auto root for 4.4?
The reason why i need to stay in 4.4 is the below.
i am using a note 3, right now running on lollipop. But because of some incompatibility issue with the MiBand (both sides XiaoMi and Samsung is blaming eachother and will not be posting a patch) with the Samsung Lollipop specifically for the Note 3, i will need to flashback the Note 3 to KitKat.
Thanks.
Ben

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I would use CF-Auto Root from here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2466423 This is from your device's specific forum Development section. If you read through it it only works on 4.4 so you should be good to go. Also see this for further information on your device, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3

Which carrier variant of the S3 are you trying to root? If it's the Verizon variant I would recommend checking out this guide on how to root Android 4.3 on the Verizon Galaxy S3. If it's not the Verizon variant I would recommend taking a look at the XDA Root Directory Samsung device section, and choosing the appropriate model Galaxy S3 you have which will take you to the correct rooting guide for your device. For future reference questions like this should be posted in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section or your appropriate device forum Q&A section. Let me know if you have any questions I'll be happy to help you out .

If you upgrade your device through the latest official OTA to Android 4.4.2 towelroot will work just fine to root your device. Otherwise using a computer is going to be your only option I'm afraid.

[Completed] Galaxy Note 3 with towelroot want to upgrade to Lollipop and keep root

As the title says I have the SM-N900V and it is on 4.4.2 and it has been done with towelroot and I am curious if there is any way to upgrade to a standard copy of Lollipop and still be able to keep my root. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It looks like there is not a root method for lollipop nor a keep root method. Looking at your posts it looks like you know where your device specific forum is. That's the best place to ask for help. Just in case see this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-note-3/help

[Completed] King root. Is it safe?

I have been looking for a way to root my phone without a computer. I have noticed TWL root ( I think that's what it's called) then King root and there's one other I don't remember the name. I am running a note 3 n900P and I have 5.0. My service is through sprint. Is King root safe for me to run? I'm afraid I will brick my phone Thank you in advance for your help.
Thank you for using XDA Assist.

Also you can use the Q&A section in that Forum for future questions.
That is the forum where you will find your device experts.

[Completed] ROOT: What Guide do I use for Galaxy S4 SPH-L720T 5.0.1

What Guide do I use for Galaxy S4 SPH-L720T 5.0.1
I have rooted the phone before or so I thought but apparently something didn't take.
I have tried to find what guide to use but there seem to be so many variables and I am a bit lost on the phone terminology that I can't find the information I am looking for.
I am just looking for a guide that gives me step by step for this version
thanks
